JAPAM (Jurnal Pendidikan Agama) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang memiliki misi memperluas kajian bidang pendidikan agama sebagai referensi dalam mewujudkan pendidikan agama yang moderat. Penguatan pendidikan agama penting untuk dioptimalkan, tidak hanya di lingkungan keluarga maupun pendidikan formal saja, tetapi juga melalui kajian-kajian ilmiah hasil penelitian maupun hasil pemikiran yang mengacu pada kaidah-kaidah ilmiah. Tujuannya adalah untuk menjadikan pendidikan agama sebagai landasan dalam mewujudkan masyarakat religius, bermartabat, cerdas, humanis dan berwawasan multukultural.

Abstract

Good character is an essence that is expected to be formed from education. However, the quality seems still far from expected. The teacher's role is very important in instilling moral values, character, and a good personality. So that an effort is needed to rethink a method, theory, strategy, and the right approach to instil a good character in students. Social cognitive theory from Albert Bandura emphasizes aspects of students' social environment that have a major influence on students. Students need a model that can be imitated in behaviour. This research uses the library research method. The results in this study are 1). In Bandura's view, an educator or teacher is to act as a model that students can imitate. 2). The student's character is processed through imitation, namely a student trying to change himself through what is observed in the social environment. 3). According to Bandura, student character is formed through four processes, namely attentional, retentional, behavioral production, and motivational processes. 4). In the Hindu religious education system, Bandura's social cognitive theory is relevant to the formation of good morals and character. In this case, the religious teacher must be a role model for students, according to the religious teachings given.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of online learning using google classroom during the Covid-19 epidemic in Hinduism. This research is a quantitative descriptive study that focuses on evaluating online learning using google classroom. The population of this study were all students of SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar who were taught Hinduism online using google classroom. The sample of this research was the students of class XII AP1 of SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar which were selected by random sampling technique by considering the homogeneity of the population. Instruments in data collection using online learning questionnaires. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that students rated Hinduism learning online using google classroom was very effektive as much as 23.30%, most students rated it as effective as 46.70%, and students rated it as normal as much as 20.00%. Although there are also students who rate online/online learning using Google Calssroom as less effective as much as 10.00%, and also absolutely no 0.00% who rate it as very ineffective. To be able to improve the quality of online Hindu religious learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, educators are required to fulfill ten suggestions from students, namely (1) a more concise description of learning materials; (2) The selection of material in the video must be based on the criteria of language that is easy to understand; (3) Minimizing the delivery of heavy video material to save quota; (4) Learning is done through video calls; (5) Giving various and different questions for each student; (6) Continue to provide material before the assignment; (7) The assignment must include the working method; (8) Remind students if there is an assignment given; (9) Giving assignments according to the lesson schedule; and (10) Reduce tasks.

Abstract

The study of the Geguritan Sang Tabe text in this paper has the desired objectives in accordance with the author's subjective. These objectives are described as follows; describe and understand a description of how the Relevance of the Teaching of Ethics in Geguritan Sang Tabe and understand the form of ethical teachings in Geguritan Sang Tabe as a reference on religious teachings that deserve to be implemented until now. The writing method used in this paper is the method of interpretation which is a method of interpretation that can be linked to various other literatures to seek discussion in accordance with the needs of this study. and the method of presentation is used interpretive-descriptive. The results of this study indicate that: The main obligation for humans is self-restraint, especially the lust (Tri Kaya Parisudha and Yama Bratha) that is contained in humans.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve understanding of knowing the teachings of Tatwa in the kakawin Pūja Saraśwati. This data is obtained using the right method so that the data obtained can support the results of the research. This type of research is qualitative research because it is a text or literature study whose primary data source is kakawin Pūja Saraśwati. Literature studies is used as a method of data collection and then descriptive qualitative data processing is carried out. This study uses concepts to describe the issues to be discussed. The results of Pūja Saraśwati's research contain tattwa teachings, which emphasize many noble values in performing worship. The main cult is when there is harmony between actions and sincere thoughts. Birthly worship to Sang Hyang Aji Saraśwati can be done by presenting flowers that are a symbol of God and a symbol of sincerity of heart. Flowers that should be offered are flowers that are not rotten in the sense of not eaten by caterpillars, past the blooming period and dirty flowers in the sense of not containing ants and growing in graves.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelisik mengenai fungsi ajaran dalam Pustaka Suci Agama Hindu dengan menggunakan metode studi teks yang merupakan analisis data yang mengkaji teks secara mendalam baik mengenai isi ataupun maknanya. Sebagai sebuah pustaka suci Agama Hindu, Sarasamuccaya merupakan bagian dari Veda Smrti, yang di dalamnya terdapat suatu bagian yang dinamakan Stri. Arti Stri dalam bahasa Sansekerta adalah perempuan, namun semua hal di dalamnya berbicara tentang keburukan yang dimiliki perempuan, harkat dan martabat perempuan yang direndahkan di setiap sloka Stri. Fungsi Ajaran Stri dikaitkan pada tahapan kehidupan dalam konsep Catur Asrama yang tidak boleh tertarik pada wanita. Bagi siswa pada tahap Brahmacari Asrama, ajaran Stri memberikan perubahan pemikiran dan mengajarkan pengendalian diri dari nafsu-nafsu negatif. Fungsi ajaran dalam Stri, memberikan pemahaman yang berbeda kepada siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan, namun ajaran di dalamnya tetap menekankan pada nilai-nilai etika dan moral Agama Hindu, sehingga tujuan akhirnya adalah sama.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki keberagaman suku bangsa, budaya, agama, bahasa dan adat istiadat, sehingga dalam menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan di masyarakat maka diperlukan sikap saling menghargai dan menghormati, oleh karena itu perlu adanya multikultural di dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pendidikan multikultural yang terdapat di Desa Pulukan, Kecamatan Pekutatan, Kabupaten Jembrana, untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai multikultural dalam pendidikan agama Pada Masyarakat Desa Pulukan, Kecamatan Pekutatan, Kabupaten Jembrana, dan untuk mendeskripsikan pola pewarisan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural di desa pulukan, kecamatan pekutatan, kabupaten jembrana. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskritif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, studi kepustakaan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Bentuk Pendidikan Multikultur di Desa Pulukan yaitu Multikulturalisme isolasionis, Multikulturalisme akomodatif, Multikulturalisme otonomis, Multikulturalisme kritikal/interaktif, Multikulturalisme cosmopolitan, (2) Nilai-nilai Pendidikan Multikultural Pada Masyarakat Desa Pulukan seperti nilai agama, tattwa, susila, upacara, seni dan budaya, social, nilai tat twam asih, (3) Sistem budaya yang di terima antar generasi dilaksanakan dengan proses sosialisasi, Penyesuaian, internalisasi dalam lingkungan masyarakat.

Abstract

The Wayang Gedog performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony in Pekraman Beringkit Village plays the play Bima Swarga which tells the story of Bima's journey full of obstacles in order to save Atma from his parents (Dewi Madri and Pandu). the implementation of the Pitra Yadnya ceremony is carried out in groups (mass), in this Wayang Gedog performance also facilities such as offerings and equipment are used to support the course of the performance. The stages carried out by Mangku Dalang in the Wayang Gedog performance are, performing prayers at Mangku Dalang's house to be protected during the performance, eating a meal, matur piuning which aims to ask permission to perform the performance, performing a performance which is divided into three acts, and making Tirta Sudamala on end of the show. The implementation of this ceremony aims to increase Pitara's status to Pitara God. The problems that will be discussed include: (1) What is the form of the Wayang Gedog performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony in Pakraman Beringkit Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency?, (2) What is the function of the Wayang Gedog performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony in Pakraman Beringkit Village, sub-district Mengwi Badung Regency?, (3) What Hindu religious education values ​​are contained in the Wayang Gedog Performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony in Pakraman Beringkit Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency?. The theory used to analyze the problem is the theory: Structural Functional Theory and Value Theory. The object of this research is the Wayang Gedog performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony in Pakraman Beringkit Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, while the subjects of this research are Mangku Dalang, Community Leaders, and the general public who know about the Wayang Gedong Performance at the Atma Weda Ceremony in Pakraman Beringkit Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The data collection methods used in this study were the observation method, the library method, the interview method and the documentation method. The analytical strategy used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed (1) the form of the Wayang Gedog performance, (2) the function of the Wayang Gedog performance, (3) the values ​​of Hindu religious education in the Wayang Gedog performance. The value of Hindu religious education contained in the Wayang Gedog performance at the Atma Wedana ceremony, namely: 1). Tattwa education, Tattwa education contained is about the nature of God's omnipotence as creator, preserver and fuse (Tri Kona) which is symbolized in Mangku Dalang. 2) Moral Education, the moral education contained is teaching to be able to be respectful towards parents, which can be done by doing and saying things that do not hurt parents' hearts. 3) Ceremonial education, the ceremonial education contained is to provide an understanding of the virtues of carrying out the Atma Wedana ceremony, so that in carrying out the ceremony, it can be done seriously as an effort to help the Atma from the ancestors so that later they can occupy a better place.

Abstract

Konsep asli ajaran Catur Marga adalah jalan spiritualitas berdasarkan empat tingkatan untuk mendekatkan diri pada Tuhan, yakni; 1) Bhakti Marga, 2) Karma Marga, 3) Jnana Marga, dan 4) Raja Marga. Esensi dari Bhakti Marga adalah jalan ketaatan dan loyalitas pengabdian pada Tuhan, Karma Marga adalah jalan perbuatan untuk memupuk karma baik, Jnana Marga adalah jalan pengetahuan, dan Raja Marga adalah jalan pengendalian diri dan pengekangan hawa nafsu. Namun sesungguhnya ajaran Catur Marga juga dapat diadaptasi menjadi sebuah pola konstruksi karakter dan penguasaan profesionalisme berbagai perspektif keilmuan. Salah satunya mengkonstruksi profesionalisme bidang industri perhotelan. Studi yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa Institut Pariwisata dan Bisnis Internasional (IPBI) yang melaksanakan On the Job Training (OJT) menemukan bahwa pada hakikatnya pola Catur Marga telah diimplementasikan secara hakiki dalam membentuk profesionalisme di bidang industri perhotelan. Implementasi tersebut meliputi; 1) Bhakti Marga, yaitu membentuk ketaatan, rasa hormat dan disiplin serta loyalitas terhadap swadharma dan industri tempat bekerja atau magang, 2) Karma Marga, yaitu melatih inisiatif dalam berbuat dan pelayanan tanpa pamrih, 3) Jnana Marga, yaitu melatih skill dan knowledge, dan 4) Raja Marga, yaitu melatih kendali diri untuk menjadi wise person dan low profile. Kata kunci: Catur Marga, Profesionalisme, On the Job Training
