PUSTAKALOKA: Jurnal Kajian Informasi & Perpustakaan is a peer-reviewed journal taken from the library of IAIN Ponorogo on Information and Library Science. PUSTAKALOKA is published twice annually (June and December) by the journal editors from the Library IAIN Ponorogo in cooperation with the Asosiasi Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi Islam (APPTIS) Jawa Timur. Every received article will be reviewed by the journal editors and external editors and reviewers who are competent in each related field. The review uses double-blind peer review before the journal is published. PUSTAKALOKA will publish selected paper under a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Abstract

Library is one of supporting element from institute, which can fullfill user’s information need for teaching learning process especially in postgraduate STAIN Pamekasan. To create optimal and good service in postgraduate library, it can see from user’s perception in service quality in postgraduate STAIN Pamekasan. This research used data collection technic; observation, interview and documentation. Officer quality in giving servive to user visible in copability and attitude from officer it self. Library service also can see from collection of books in library to fullfill user’s need. Supporting tools in building and rooms. To complete some tools, it also need infrastructure to fullfill library needs in service. Infrastructure needed are utensils, it means to support library actinity which unused up such as; bookshelf, table and chair, computer and internet, air conditioner, room’s light or lamp, catalogue and photocopy machine.

Abstract

Abstract: In the hadith,  Rasulullah SAW had advocated for Muslims to help each other and facilitate the difficulties faced by other Muslims. The hadith can be reflected in various activities in the library. In this casemore focused on reference services in the college library. In harmony with the hadith, that reference services can also solve various difficulties faced by the user and facilitate any difficulties experienced by the user. Reflexes of hadith on library activities, especially in reference services in the library, in this article are reviewed using the library study method. Thus, the reflexity between the two will be analyzed using various literature related to the topic.The purpose of this study is to know how the implementation of the hadith reflection and to know the impact given by the implementation of the hadith reflection on the quality of reference services in helping meet of the information needs of the users in the college. Abstrak: Di dalam hadits, Rasulullah SAW telah menganjurkan kepada umat islam agar saling membantu dan memudahkan kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh muslim lainnya. Hadits tersebut dapat direfleksikan ke dalam berbagai kegiatan di perpustakaan. Dalam hal ini lebih difokuskan kepada pelayanan referensi di perpustakaan perguruan tinggi. Selaras dengan hadits tersebut, bahwasanya layanan referensi juga dapatmenyelesaikan berbagai kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh pemustaka dan memudahkan setiap kesulitan yang dialami oleh pemustaka. Refeleksi hadits terhadap kegiatan perpustakaan, khususnya pada layanan referensi di perpstakaan, dalam artikel ini dikaji menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Sehingga, refleksitas diantara keduanya akan dianalisis menggunakan berbagai literatur yang terkait dengan topik tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana refleksi hadits terhadap kualitas pelayanan referensi dan untuk mengetahui dampak yang diberikan oleh pengimplementasian refleksi hadits terhadap kualitas pelayanan referensi dalam membantu memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pemustaka di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang manajemen informasi pribadi dan perilaku mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana manajemen informasi pribadi dan perilaku mahasiswa Univeritas Diponegoro dalam memanfaatkan bookmark manager sebagai media penyimpanan informasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Terdapat 6 informan yang telah diwawancari. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku manajemen informasi mahasiswa Undip dalam memanfaatkan bookmark manager membawa mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan wawasan terkait bookmark manager. Kegiatan manajemen informasi yang dilakukan meliputi; penyeleksian, penyimpanan dan pengelolaan informasi mahasiswa. Penyeleksian yang dilakukan dengan menyortir informasi yang masih relevan berdasarkan isi informasinya. Penyimpanan dan pengelolaan informasi didasarkan pada informasi yang telah diperoleh yang akan disimpan dan dikelola berdasarkan kebutuhan dari mahasiswa dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas folder dan memberikan nama khusus untuk memudahkan temu kembali informasi. Bookmark manager memberikan dampak positif bagi mahasiswa, karena cukup efektif dan efisien untuk digunakan secara terus-menerus.  Selanjutnya kegiatan akhir yaitu melakukan evaluasi dengan mengidentifikasi informasi yang dimiliki dengan menyortir maupun menghapus informasi yang tersimpan dalam bookmark manager.

Abstract

Koleksi merupakan aset berharga bagi perpustakaan. Oleh karena itu, proses pengembangannya memerlukan suatu strategi khusus agar dapat meningkatkan nilai dari koleksi seperti dari segi kualitas, pemutakhiran dan kemudahan akses. Dengan maraknya sentuhan teknologi informasi, konsep aggregator bisa menjadi salah satu pilihan.Tujuan makalah adalah mengenalkan konsep agregator berbasis web untuk diterapkan sebagai alat pengembangan koleksi perpustakaan. Agregator dibangun dengan memanfaatkan sindikasi dari situs web. Di konsep ini koleksi dapat ditentukan terlebih dahulu sehingga kualitas terjaga dan sesuai kebutuhan. Proses pemutakhiran mudah diatur secara berkala. Berbasis web hingga memudahkan pemustaka ketika mengakses koleksi. Kelebihan tersebut diharapkan mampu mendukung pengembangan koleksi di perpustakaan sehingga pelayanan menjadi lebih optimal.

Abstract

This study intends to identify and analyze the efforts of the university  library to create a public sphere. The study location is Wifi Zone Corner at ITS (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember) Library. This study used qualitative approach with descriptive method. The study results shows that the ITS Library has made efforts to create Wifi Zone Corner as a public sphere: (1) change the Wifi Zone Corner design into a public sphere become accessible, comfortable and without any binding rules; (2) held routine and non-routine activities with the concept of a public forum; and (3) make cooperation with some other institutions.

Abstract

Internet merupakan sebuah alat yang berbentuk jaringan dengan sistem komunikasi global yang menghubungkan seluruh jaringan komputer di dunia sehingga segala informasi mudah untuk didapatkan. Begitupun,  kehadiran internet di perpustakaan akan sangat berguna dan bermanfaat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pengguna secara cepat dan tepat tanpa dibatasi oleh ruang dan waktu. Di lingkungan perguruan tinggi, keberadaannya semakin penting karena banyaknya ketersediaan bahan jenis digital dan proses transfer informasi di kalangan sivitas akademika dalam tingkat tertentu berubah karena produsen dan pengguna sudah saling terkoneksi melalui Internet. Tulisan ini membahas tentang pentingnya penggunaan internet di dalam dunia perpustakan karena saai ini sudak banyak koleksi yang berbentuk  digital.

Abstract

A skill of Information literacy for students is very important. This capability will be useful in any search activity information that students need. The development of information and communication technology can greatly support the achievement of good teaching and learning process when coupled with the information literacy skills. The information literacy capability of students and higher education are two inseparable things. Therefore students need information literacy skills to support their learning process at university. Besides that, University libraries have a big role to create the students or academic community to be the literate person. The right steps in organizing information obtained will create a responsibility and independence person. If any student has information literacy skills, no exaggeration to say that the teaching and learning process will go well, and it certainly will create a generation that is able to learn long life in his life.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the level of digital literacy ability of 2016 Department of Library Science students in utilizing the e-resoures of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. Data collection methods using questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The population in this study were all library students of 2016. The validity test used the Pearson product moment formula and the reliability test used the Cronbach alpha formula. The results of this study indicate that the Analysis of Digital Literacy Ability in Utilizing e-resoures by 2016 Department of Library Science students of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang is relatively high. The total average value of all sub-variables in this study was 3.95. With a scale of 0.8 the interpretation of the score in this study is 3.4-4.2 = High. The conclusion is that the level of digital literacy ability in the use of e-resoures by Library Science students in 2016 is relatively high.

Onof them is Athenaeum Light 8.5., DFW (Dewey For Windows)Version 1.00, WebDewey 2.0, e-DDC (electronic-Dewey DecimalClassification) Edition 22. In this paper, it will roll out about how touse that software with it excess and deficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the formation of the content creator division (Librarian) in the UMY Library, what steps are taken to develop the creativity of content creator librarians and the content that has been produced to support digital service innovation. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results show that the efforts made at the UMY library in order to develop librarian creativity include; through the implementation of video editing workshops, workshops on using Canva, participating in library promotion training, participating in webinars with similar topics. The librarian's innovative products in creating digital content include various videos, podcasts, website creation for Indonesian librarian organizations, TikTok content, Instagram, Youtube and other social media services. The variety of products produced proves that UMY librarians are able to innovate in line with the needs and developments of the times through developing the competence of librarians as content creators.
