Abstract

The research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning using the Role Playing learning model in class IV SD Negeri 32 Air Amo Sijunjung distrits. The research subjectswere teachers (practitioners) and 17 students. The research location is SD Negeri 32 Air Amo Sijunjung distrits . The results showed an increase in: a) RPP observation of the first cycle was 82,5%,(B)  the second cycle was 87.5% (B); b) Observation aspect of the first cycle teacher is 81,25%(C), the second cycle is 93, 75% (A); c) Observation aspects of the student's first cycle is 79,68% (C)and the second cycle is 93.75% (A); d) learning outcomes in the first cycle are 71,66 (D) and the second cycle is 77, 67 (C).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Project Based Learning on the concept of understanding on the angle measurement material in the fourth grade of Kenagarian Tanjung Sani Maninjau elementary school. The form of this research design is a quasi experimental research design type of non equivalent control design. The sample in this study was class IV SDN 17 Pandan and Class IV SDN 15 Tanjung Sani. The results of the calculation of the research used were the t-test obtained t count> t table (2.97> 1.684) at the α 0.05 level. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of the PPA approach to the understanding of concepts in the angle measurement material in the fourth grade of SD Sagran Maninjau Kenagarian Group.

Abstract

This research is motivated by integrated thematic learning that has not been well implemented, is still in the process of improving. This causes the integrated thematic learning process to be carried out to the maximum. This research purposed to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learnig process using active learning strategi Index Card Match in Elementary School. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Subjects were teachers and 25 students. This research was consists of two cycles. The first cycle consists of two meetings and the second cycle consists of one meeting with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection . The result of planning observation in cycle I  is 75% (C) and it increase to be 94,44% (SB)  in cycle II. The result of teacher aspect observation in cycle I is 83,35% (B)  and it increase to be 97,22% (SB) in cycle II. The result of student aspect observation in cycle I is 80,55% (C)  and it increase to be 94,44% (SB) in cycle II. The learning outcomes in cycle I is 71,8 (C) and it increase to be 90,62 (SB) in cycle II. The research showed the cooperative learning model Talking Stick type can improve the integrated thematic learnig process in Elementary School

Abstract

The research is aimed to describe the plan, the implementation and the students’ learning outcomes in learning the Social Science Subject by using the Example non Example Model at 5th grade of SDN 19 Koto Tangah Padang. The classroom-action research was conducted in the research by using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of the research were the teacher and 22 students of the school. The result of the research shows that: a) the lesson plan increased from 75% in cycle I to 93% in cycle II; b) in term of the teacher’s teaching aspect increased from 77% in cycle I to 95% in cycle II;c) the student’s learningoutcomes increased from 74,4 in cycle I to 84,1 in cycle II. Thus, the use of Example no Example model improves the student’s learning outcomes in learning the social science subjects at 5th grade of SDN 19 Koto Tangah Padang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning process by using the Cooperative type Group Investigation model in class IV of SDN 18 Koto Tangah, Agam Regency. This type of research is Class Action Research (CAR) using a qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subjects were teachers and 20 grade IV students of SDN 18 Koto Tangah, Agam Regency. The use of the Cooperative type Group Investigation model in the learning process can improve student learning outcomes. this can be seen from the results of the first cycle, 76,80 point to 84,91 point in second cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded that using the Cooperative type Group Investigation model can improve the learning process.

Abstract

Renewal of teaching materials can be done by utilizing Lectora Inspire based technology. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Lectora Inspire based data presentation teaching materials with the CTL approach in grade IV elemantary school. This research is a quantitative study with the type of experimental research using the pre-experimental method. This research was conducted at SDN 01 Bandar Buat. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, and class IV B was chosen as the experimental class. The results of hypothesis testing obtained using the t-test with a real level of a = 0.05, obtained tcount = 16,83 > t table (0.05) (29) = 2.042, then reject H0 and accept H1. So there are differences in learning outcomes before and after using Lectora Inspire based data presentation teaching materials with the CTL approach in class IV B SDN 01 Bandar Buat. Thus it can be concluded that the teaching material for presenting Lectora Inspire-based data with the CTL approach is effectively used.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the alteration of positive characteristic of the students with learning implementation  by using  Quantum Teaching model. The type of this study is qualitative approach. Teacher and students in sixth grades is determined the subject in this research which account at 15 subjects. The result of the research depict that there are alteration from students with negative characteristic to positive characteristic. The positive characteristic that have been obtained was self honesty and self confient. After utilizing Quantum Teaching model by the teachers, the students who used to had negative characteristic alter to the students with possitive characteristic which is portrayed confident self and honesty toward themselves. Keywords:, Positive Characteristic, Quantum Teaching Model.
