Abstract

This research is intends develop integrated thematic learning materials by using discovery learning (DL) model in the 5th grade of elementary school. It categorize this research into research and development study. The model includes four phases, defining, designing, developing, and disseminating phases. However, it did not include the disseminating phases. The subjects of the research were 5th grade students. The results of the research show that the validity score of the learning materials developed is 3,36. Questionnaire and interviews with the teachers and the students reveal that the materials developed are practical. The score given by the teachers is 96, 43%, and by the students is 84, 5%. Based on the results, we conclude it that the integrated thematic learning materials developed by using (DL) model are valid and practical to be use in the learning process.

Abstract

This research is a collaboration between faculty and students, with the aim of generating a synergy in the final work. The purpose of this study was to increase student’s ability to sing national anthems with direct teaching on 4th grade of SDN 01 Bandar Buat Padang. This study uses qualitative and quantitative approach to the type of research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK ). The results showed the increase of student’s ability to sing outcomes in the first cycle is obtained an average of 74,6 % , while in the second cycle gained an average of 87,6 %.Keywords: Singing Skills; Direct Learning Model

Abstract

Ketiadaan inovasi di dalam pengembangan kepariwisataan, khususnya untuk teknologi dan rekayasa daya tarik kunjungan telah membuat profil dan karakteristik usaha industri pariwisata ini, termasuk di Sumatera Barat masih mengalami stagnasi dan hambatan kemajuan. Keberadaan potensi sumberdaya wisata alam pantai yang ada, perlu diberi suatu daya tarik tersendiri agar dapat meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan, di antaranya mengembangkan konsep pariwisata terpadu pendidikan dengan membangun suatu daya tarik buatan yang dapat memberikan makna tujuan ganda “berwisata dan belajar” pada daerah tujuan wisata (DTW) yang ada. Mendirikan suatu taman tekno kincir angin (windmill techno park) sebagai suguhan bentuk wisata terpadu pendidikan (vokasi & teknologi) khususnya bagi kalangan siswa/mahasiswa adalah sebuah jawaban, yang perlu pula diberikan suatu imbuhan dekoratif keindahan taman melalui pembangunan prasarana dan sarana fisis pendukung dan peran serta masyarakat sekitar obyek wisata yang bersifat mengoptimalkan tampilan daya tarik dan kepuasan bagi pengunjung. Pada gilirannya hal ini akan menimbulkan motivasi kedatangan & membawa pada peningkatan jumlah kunjungan sekaligus memberikan dampak ekonomi (multiplier effect) segi pendapatan dan/atau tenaga kerja terhadap masyarakat di sekitar lokasi wisata, khususnya di negari Pantai Panjang Nagari Ketaping Kecamatan Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman

Abstract

The background of this service is the lack of knowledge and skills of teachers in making music as a cultural literacy for elementary school teachers. The purpose of this service is to improve the experience and skills of primary school teachers in learning the art of music as a means of cultural literacy for elementary school teachers. This service method uses the seminar method and hands-on training. The results of the dedication showed an increase in the knowledge and skills of teachers in making music art learning a cultural literacy for elementary school teachers. The implications of this service can be used as a reference by teachers and education practitioners to improve the quality of art learning and its relation to cultural literacy.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 and 21st-century skills leave fundamental problems in the implementation of 2013 curriculum teaching materials with an integrated thematic approach, including learning the art of music in elementary schools. It is very important for teachers to integrate technology into learning. The purpose of this research is to develop interactive multimedia in the form of a digital songbook as a support for integrated thematic teaching materials. The type of research that has been used is Research & Development which refers to the ADDIE. The subjects of this study were 4 (four) teachers and 100 elementary school students in the city of Padang. Data collection techniques and instruments were in the form of a questionnaire consisting of a validation questionnaire for validators and a practicality questionnaire given to teachers and students. The data analysis technique was obtained by taking the average results of product validation and practicality. The results showed that the average score of content and graphic validation was 84.1% in the appropriate category, while the average practicality score was 86.7%. Thus, the Digital Song Book is feasible and practical to use in learning the art of music as a support for integrated thematic teaching materials in elementary schools that meaningful for elementary students. The findings of this study have significant implications for designers and teachers, as well as multimedia researchers.

Abstract

Penelitian pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu di kelas V ini dilatar belakangi oleh Guru belum menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif, guru belum menciptakan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas belajar dan berfikir peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu mnggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Make A Match. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan peserta didik yang berjumlah 24 orang. Hasil penelitian: Penilaian RPP siklus I pertemuan I yaitu 75% (C) dan pertemuan II yaitu 83,33% (B), meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 94,44% (SB). Penilaian aspek guru siklus I pertemuan I 75% (C) dan pertemuan II yaitu 87,5% (B), meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 93,75% (SB). Penilaian aspek peserta didik siklus I pertemuan I 75% (C) dan pertemuan II 84,3% (B), meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 93,75% (SB). Hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I pertemuan I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 63 dan pertemuan II diperoleh nilai rata-rata 75, meningkat pada siklus II yaitu, diperoleh nilai rata-rata 83. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan model kooperatif tipe make a matchdapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu.

Abstract

The research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning using the Role Playing learning model in class IV SD Negeri 32 Air Amo Sijunjung distrits. The research subjectswere teachers (practitioners) and 17 students. The research location is SD Negeri 32 Air Amo Sijunjung distrits . The results showed an increase in: a) RPP observation of the first cycle was 82,5%,(B)  the second cycle was 87.5% (B); b) Observation aspect of the first cycle teacher is 81,25%(C), the second cycle is 93, 75% (A); c) Observation aspects of the student's first cycle is 79,68% (C)and the second cycle is 93.75% (A); d) learning outcomes in the first cycle are 71,66 (D) and the second cycle is 77, 67 (C).

Abstract

This study aims at finding out how Problem Based Learning (PBL) model improves the integreted thematic learning process of the fifth year elementary school students. This study used a classroom action research, conducted in two cycles. This studi used both qualitative and quantitative appoarches. The results of the observations on the Lesson Plan in Cycle I were on an average of 89,28%, categorized in the “good” qualification (G). The results increased to an average of 96,42% in Cycle II categorized in the “very good” qualification (VG). In the learning process during Cycle I, the results of the observations on the teacher and student aspects were on an average of 80,35%, categorized in the “good” qualification (G). The results increased to 96,42% in Cycle II, categorized in the “very good” qualification (VG). In the aspect of students’ knowledge and skills, the results of the observations in Cycle I were on average 75,01% categorized in the “good” qualification (G). The results also increased in Cycle II to an average of 85,14%, categorized in the “very good” qualification (VG). Thus, the results indicate an increase in the integrated thematic learning process using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class V of SD Negeri 20 Indarung, Padang.

Abstract

The research is caused by the teacher when the learning process conveys the subject matter directly that is not innovative to apply the model to trigger children's creativity. The teacher does not implemente a model that can stimulate active children in learning and solve problems to make products. This study aims to describe the Improvement of Integrated Thematic Learning Process of Theme 8 of Grade 5th with the Project Based Learning Model. The type of research is class action with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Research data is from the observations of the implementation of the learning process with the Project Based Learning model and the results of action after the learning process takes place. The study was in two cycles. One cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The research subjects were teachers and 22 students of Grade 5th elementary school that consists of 9 male and 13 female. The results of the first cycle of research for student learning outcomes has average value of 3.14 good category (GC) percentage of completeness 32%, in the second cycle increased to 3.75 excellent category (EC) percentage of completeness 95%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning using the Cooperative Learning model Make A Match type V in elementary school. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were 25 elementary school teachers and students. The results showed planning, implementation and learning outcomes have increased. The average assessment of RPP cycle I was 84.89% with qualifications (B) and in cycle II it increased to 93.18% (A). The average evaluation of the implementation of the activities of the first cycle teacher is 83.93% (B) and increased in the second cycle is 92.86% (A). For the average activity of students in cycle I 82.18% (B) increased in cycle 92.86% (A). The average assessment of student learning outcomes for students in the first cycle was 79.95 (C) and increased in the second cycle was 92.40 (A).
