Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of tournament type active learning strategies on the learning outcomes of data presentation in class V of Elementary School. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study were fifth grade students of SD Gugus IV Padang Timur Kota Padang who had used the 2013 curriculum. The simple random sampling technique was obtained by SDN 11 Air Camar as the experimental group and SDN 10 Aur Duri as the control group. Based on the results of data analysis using t-test, obtained tcount = 2.501 and ttable = 2.026 at a significant level of 0.05 and dk = 37. It means that tcount > ttable, so H1 is accepted. Thus, there is a significant effect of tournament type active learning strategy on the learning outcomes of data presentation in class V of Elementary School.

Abstract

This study discusses active learning learning strategies for learning outcomes in the fourth grade of elementary school. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study were fourth grade students of SD Cluster I Ampek Angkek Subdistrict Agam District who had used the 2013 curriculum. The simple random sampling technique was obtained by class IVB SDN 29 Koto Hilalang as a research group and class IVA SDN 29 Koto Hilalang as a control group. Based on the results of data analysis using the t-test, obtained tcount = 7,60 and Ttable = 2,021 at a significant level of 0.05 and dk = 40. This means that tcount> ttable, so H1 is accepted. Thus, there is a significant effect of participation type active learning strategies on the learning outcomes of angular measurements in grade IV of elementary school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of the learning process with the problem based learning model in class IV SDN 09 Bandar Buat, Padang city . This type of research is classroom action research, with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were students and fourth grade teachers of SDN 09 Bandar Buat  Padang city. The results of the study on observation of RPP cycle I Meeting I 84.4%, in the first cycle meeting II 88.88%, in the second cycle 96.66%. The implementation of the teacher aspects of the first cycle of meeting I 83.3%. The first cycle of the second meeting was 92.85%. In the second cycle of 100% the implementation of aspects of students in the first cycle of meeting I 78.6%, in the first cycle of meeting II 92.85%. And in cycle II 100%. It can be concluded that the problem based learning model can show improving the integrated thematic learning process at SDN 09 Bandar Buat, Padang City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on the learning outcomes of data presentation in Elementary School Cluster II District Guguak District 50 City. The type of this research is quantitative research with the experimental method and the design of Quasi Exsperiment, with the form of Nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample technique used was cluster random sampling with a sample consisting of two classes. The results showed that the average value of the Experimental Post-test class using the Project Based Learning model was 77, 6 and the control class using conventional learning was 65.6. This shows that learning outcomes with the Project Based Learning model are influential compared to conventional learning. Analysis of the data of the two groups using the t test, obtained results of tcount 4.61 and ttable at a significant level of 0.05 of 2.010 so that tcount> t table. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design an android-based mathematics learning media to determine the level of geometric thinking of grade IV elementary school students. This research is included in Research and Development (R & D) research which is used to produce certain products and study the problems of these products. Making the media uses Adobe Flash CS6 software that runs on an Android-based system. Furthermore, media studies are carried out by giving learning media validation sheets to material validators and media validators. The results of the validation are 61 which are in the range of 61-80 with a high category, with suggestions from the material validator that is the learning media has not reached all KI and the questions to know the level of geometric thinking students have not been Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), while the validator's suggestions the media, for the navigation key, has not been seen, the image has not used high resolution and must enhance the appearance of the media. Thus the media can be used after making repairs and additions.
