Abstract

The research on integrated theatrical learning in class IV is a dilator behind the still low learning outcomes of students in integrated thematic learning. The purpose of this study was to describe planning, implementation, and integrated thematic learning outcomes using models Make a Match in class IV SD Negeri 17 Batu Gadang Sungaipua District. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using a qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subjects were class IV students with 24 people, 14 men and 10 women. The study was conducted in two cycles. The results of the first cycle of research obtained an average of 84.08% (Good) and increased in the second cycle to 93.18% (Very Good). Implementation in the aspect of teacher activity cycle I obtained an average of 80.35% (Good) and increased in the second cycle to 96.42% (Very Good). The implementation of the activity aspects of students in the first cycle obtained an average of 80.35% (Good) and increased in the second cycle to 96.42% (Very Good). The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle obtained an average of 76.62 (enough) and increased in the second cycle to 91.69 (good). Thus the Make a Match type cooperative model can improve the integrated thematic learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 17 Batu Gadang Sungaipua District.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the facts indicating that the integrated thematic     learning was not run as it was expected. The teacher seemed to ignore the involvement of the learners in making correlation between the laerning materials and their real life. The purpose of   this research  was  to  describe the application  of PBL model  in integrated thematic learning process. The technique used is observation. This research is a class action. This research was conducted at SDN 15 Ulu Gadut Kota Padang. The subject of the research was the teacher and the learners of class V totaling 28 people . The result of the research revealed that the quality of integrated thematic learning increased. The first cycle of meetings one aspect of RPP 84.38%, teacher aspects 78,57%, and students 78,57%, meeting 2 aspects of observation RPP 90,63%, teacher aspects 89,28%, and aspects of learners 89,28%. Cycle 2 observes RPP 96,87%, teacher aspects 96,42%, and learners aspects 96,42%. This proves that the PBL model can improve the learning process of student.

Abstract

This research is behind the dilator by student learning outcomes that are not in accordance with what is expected. Thisy type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Research data in the form of observations and actions and test results. The data source is the process and results of the implementation of student learning on fraction addition material using the Realistic Mathematics Education (PMR) approach. The research subjects were 26 teacher and grade IV students consisting of 19 men and 7 women. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in aspects of knowledge of the first cycle that is 81,% increased to 87.31% or increased about 6.16%. In the aspect of skills in Cycle I, namely 82.08% increased to 85.09% or an increase of about 3.01%. RPP observations results in the first cycle that is 83.92% increased to 92.85%. The observation of aspects of teachers and students in the first cycle that is 80% increased to 90%. It can be concluded that, the PMR approach can improve student learning outcomes in the fraction summation material using the Realistic Mathematics Education approach (PMR) in Class IV SDN 11 Guguak VIII Koto District Fifty Cities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in students' ability to understand concepts in the data presentation material in Grade IV Elementary School using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach. The type of research used is classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The results of this study indicate that first, there is an increase in the implementation of the learning process using the PMRI approach from the aspects of teachers and students. The implementation of the learning process using the PMRI approach from the aspect of the teacher has increased from 72.5% to 90% this indicates an increase from the first cycle of 17.5%. From the aspect of students the implementation of the learning process using the PMRI approach has increased from 72.5% to 85% this indicates an increase of 12.5%. The increase was also seen from the results of the concept understanding tests of students using the PMRI approach, namely in the first cycle the average students gained was 71.67 with sufficient qualifications and increased in cycle 2 to 86.25 with excellent qualifications. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PMRI approach can improve the ability to understand the concept of presenting data of students in class IVA SDN 01 Bandar Untuk Kota Padang.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on themathematical reasoning ability of data presentation in 5th grade class of Elementary School. This type of research used quasi experiments (quasi experimental design). The design used was Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling, which targeted population consisted of several elementary schools in Gugus 1 of Lubuk Begalung sub-district Padang City. The amount samples of this study are 56 students in 5th grade class of 36 Cengkeh  and 33 Tanjung Sabar Public Elementary Schools in Padang City. The instruments used in this research were tests based. According on the data analysis that has been done, the results of the study show that there is an effect of mathematical reasoning ability in the presentation of data at 5th grade class of 36th State Primary Schools Cengkeh. This is proven from the acquisition of thitung = 3,1> ttabel= 2,0063 with a real level of 0.05 and dk = 54,  which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning model has a significant effect on mathematical reasoning ability in the data presentation of students 5th grade elementary school.
