Abstract

Bakteri endofit merupakan bakteri yang terdapat pada jaringan tumbuhan yang tidak memberikan infeksi atau efek negatif pada tumbuhan inangnya. Bakteri endofit dapat ditemukan di berbagai jenis tumbuhan, terutama tumbuhan yang sering dijadikan tanaman obat. Salah satunya adalah mimba (Azadirachta indica A. Juss) yang memiliki empat senyawa kimia, yang berkhasiat sebagai obat, yakni azadiraktin, salannin, nimbinen, dan meliantriol. Bakteri endofit dapat menghasilkan komponen bioaktif yang sama dengan tumbuhan inangnya, sehingga berpotensi untuk dikembangkan dalam dunia kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan bakteri endofit pada akar dan batang anaman mimba untuk mengetahui keragaman dan fisiologinya. Isolasi dilakukan pada media LG (Media selektif untuk Azotobacter dan mikroba penambat N-2 lainnya) dan media NA untuk mempertahankan kemurnian kultur bakteri. Hasil isolasi bakteri endofit dari akar dan batang tanaman mimba diperoleh tiga koloni berbeda dari akar dan tiga koloni dari batang. Keenam isolat diuji biokimia dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa keenam isolat tersebut adalah dari kelompok Azotobacter

Abstract

Product quality control is an important factor for the industrial world because good quality control and carried out continuously will be able to detect abnormal production results quickly, so that anticipatory action can be taken immediately. Quality is a major factor in consumer decision making before buying goods / services. The problem that occurs at this time in manufacturing companies in Indonesia is how the statistical quality control process can be applied properly. The purpose of this statistical analysis is to find out the statistical quality control process that is applied to manufacturing companies in Indonesia using bivariate control charts with copula. Copula is a function that combines a multivariate distribution function with a uniform one-dimensional marginal distribution function, in this condition the Copula used is the Archimedean Copula group. The method used in this data collection is a simple random sampling with the sample used are three manufacturing companies in Indonesia which covers the areas of Jakarta, Bandung and Makassar. The implementation of Copula in this control chart results in Frank Copula being the best Copula, this supports that the use of Copula in the quality control process has a good role

Abstract

Coconut (Cocos nucifera L.) is a plant that provides many benefits to the rural economy. The part of coconut that has many benefits is the flesh of the fruit which can be taken from the coconut milk to make pure coconut oil which is commonly called Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). In this study, the manufacture of VCO with the basic ingredients of old coconut from Walennae Village, Sabbangparu District, Sengkang Regency was carried out. This study aims to determine the characteristics of VCO in the form of peroxide number, Free Fatty Acid (FFA) number, and air content. The results showed the physical properties of the VCO produced, including the physical appearance of oil with a clear color, a distinctive aroma of oil, and no rancid smell. The results of the analysis of the chemical properties of the resulting VCO have a peroxidevalue of 1.5835 mg ek/kg; FFA number is 0.08% and water content is 0.18%.

Abstract

Resistance Spot Welding (RSW) is welding process that is widely used in the automotive industry such as the manufacture of vehicle bodies. This study aims to measure the level of roughness in stainless steel grade 304 with the RSW Welding method. In this study, Gwyddion software was used to measure the roughness of stainless steel grade 304. This study used variations in electric current, which are 5kA and 7kA, with a pressure of 3 bar and 9 seconds with 100 x 25 mm for the size. Furthermore, for each electric current there are 3 specimens and macro photo tests are carried out then the roughness values for 5kA is 153 µm, 151 µm, and 150 µm. Moreover, the rough values of 7kA is 133 µm, 135 µm and 101 µm. From the results, it was found that the higher of welding current, the smoother of the roughness of the nugget weld. This is because the heat that enters the nugget weld undergoes a good maturation process.

Abstract

Abstract. This research uses boxplot, Anova and posthoc to analyse the effect of factors such as urine and phosphorous in rice paddy yield. Then an artificial neural network (ANN) is used to predict paddy yields based on those factors. ANN is also used to predict paddy yields from polybags based on the actual data of paddy yields from rice field.  A total of 25 data were used in this study where 70% data were used for training while 15% data each for testing and validation. We use the training model using data from rice field to predict paddy yield in polybags. STATISTICA software was used to run the neural networks. The predictive power of constructed neural networks was measured using accuracy measurement Mean Squared Error. The result shows that prediction can be made through neural network since the performance is very encouraging. Keywords: neural networks, paddy yield, prediction, statistical analysis.
