Abstract

Education is a right for everyone including students with special needs or also called Children with Special Needs (ABK). Teachers must guide and provide learning facilities for their students to achieve educational goals. In the learning process, students categorized as ABK require different services than non-ABK children. Educating ABK is not easy, the strength of the teacher's character is an important factor that can support teachers in dealing with ABK. Strength of character reflects virtue values which refer to positive qualities consisting of good character and are raised by individuals to deal with certain conditions, such as when experiencing difficulties. The study aimed to see an illustration of the strength of character possessed by ABK teachers in educating ABK. This study uses a qualitative approach. The sample in the study numbered two people who were willing to become research participants by collecting data using interview techniques that were conducted online and the data obtained was analyzed thematically. The results showed that the typologies possessed by ABK teachers were creativity, judgment, and teamwork. Even so, each teacher also has several different strengths.

Abstract

Unemployment is a serious challenge faced by developing countries such as Indonesia. These challenges involve complex factors interacting with each other and can have a negative impact on social and economic stability. This study focused on East Java Province as a case in point, with the aim of analyzing the geographical distribution of open unemployment (TPT) and the relationship between regions in that context. Using a spatial analysis approach, specifically the Moran's I autocorrelation method, this study seeks to uncover spatial patterns and spatial interactions related to TPT levels. Quantitative data were used to identify TPT distribution patterns in this region. The results of spatial autocorrelation analysis indicate that the distribution of TPT in East Java Province tends to be random. Although there are spatial patterns that can be identified based on the Moran index, the z-score results show that they are not significantly different from random patterns. From the results of the Moran's I quadrant, it can be seen that there are several areas with high TPT rates around other regions that also have high TPT rates. Thus, this research contributes to formulating policies and actions aimed at reducing unemployment, improving people's welfare, and preventing potential social insecurity and poverty.

Abstract

Individual Gultik Shop in Balikpapan City. This type of food is very popular among young people in Jakarta, and this food needs to be further developed and served among young people in the city of Balikpapan. How to introduce Gultik Rakyat is also simple. Gultik Rakyat is a food made from hamburger curry which is then made by boiling until cooked, then the meat is cut into small pieces then the meat is blended with gravy that is suitable for serving by buyers. The testing technique used is a quantitative method with important information taken using polls, the number of residents who are respondents are buyers who have bought groceries at Toko Gultik Rakyat. In the results of various straight relapse investigations, the direction of a positive relationship is seen from the value of a positive relationship coefficient, then the large value of the driving variable is SIG. 0.002 < 0.05 and tcount of 4.008 > ttable of 1.661. Promote variables to specific GIs. 0.004 < 0.05 and tcount of 3.884 > ttable of 1.661. In the F esteem test, it was found that Fcalculate esteem was 32.190 with an importance value of 0.000 and critical F esteem < 0.05. As a result, H0 is rejected and Ha is recognized. That is, the independent factors of publication (X1) and transaction progress (X2) act simultaneously or together on the dependent variable on the purchase option (Y). Meanwhile, judging from the results of the connection test, it was found that the relationship coefficient (R Square) is 0.425, and this means that the relationship between promotion and promotion factors on the purchase choice variable is strong.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, Science and Technology (S&T) have become incredibly popular in daily life. S&T has brought people closer together and made the world more transparent. This situation poses a dilemma stemming from the remarkable progress of S&T. On one hand, this progress has made life more convenient for humans. On the other hand, our conscience raises concerns as we find ourselves in a situation that is no longer human-centric but rather technocentric. The millennial generation, born between the 1980s and the 2000s, is deeply intertwined with technological advancements, hence the term "millennial." They have experienced and actively participated in the development of technology. The millennials are the intelligent successors of the nation, continuously engaging with positive technological advancements. They possess positive attributes such as critical thinking, social media wisdom, creativity, and a desire to create harmonious relationships. However, they also exhibit negative traits such as communication difficulties, self-confidence issues, a sense of superiority, self-destructive tendencies, and a fear of job loss. One way to address the negative aspects observed in the millennial generation is through the internalization of humanistic values, particularly within the educational process at schools or in classrooms through humanistic education. Humanistic education as a whole provides a more comprehensive perspective, emphasizing an education that engages all dimensions and potential of humans, making individuals aware of their processes in becoming meaningful contributors to life, family, society, nation, and religion. The objective of this article is to describe the internalization of humanistic values in the millennial generation to counteract the potential negative aspects they might exhibit. The outcomes of this internalization are expected to shape millennials into intelligent, creative individuals who are human-centric in a techno-centric world
