Abstract

The rapid growth of short-video–based social media, particularly TikTok, has transformed the way companies engage with consumers and stimulate purchase intention, especially among Generation Z as digital natives. However, for local brands such as Eiger in the travel and outdoor equipment industry, a key challenge remains in converting digital marketing activities into actual purchase intention, as reflected in the gap between high offline conversion rates and relatively low online sales contributions. This research aims to analyze the effects of content marketing and influencer marketing on purchase intention for Eiger’s travel products among Generation Z using a quantitative approach through a survey of 300 respondents who have been exposed to Eiger’s TikTok content. The research model is analyzed using the Stimulus–Organism–Response (S-O-R) framework and tested with Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) employing SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that both content marketing and influencer marketing significantly enhance perceived enjoyment, which in turn serves as a strong mediator in increasing purchase intention. Furthermore, gender moderates the relationship between content marketing and perceived enjoyment, with female consumers showing greater responsiveness to storytelling and aesthetically appealing content, while male consumers respond more strongly to informative content. In contrast, gender does not moderate the relationship between influencer marketing and perceived enjoyment, suggesting a relatively homogeneous perception of influencers among Generation Z consumers. This study contributes to the literature by extending the application of the S-O-R theory to short-video marketing contexts and enriching empirical insights into Generation Z consumer behavior in Indonesia.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the banking industry prompted BNI to launch Wondr by BNI in July 2024 as a replacement for its previous mobile banking app. Despite its advanced features, the application faces significant challenges in user adoption and receives user complaints regarding stability and functionality. This research aims to analyze the factors influencing the continuance intention and continuance behavior of Wondr by BNI users, utilizing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) framework. A quantitative approach was employed through an online survey of 379 Wondr users. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and the PROCESS macro. The results show that Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, Price Value, and Habit have a positive and significant influence on Continuance Usage Intention (CUI). In turn, Continuance Usage Behavior (CUB) is significantly influenced by Continuance Usage Intention (CUI), Facilitating Conditions (FC), and Habit (HT). Age was also found to moderate the relationship between Hedonic Motivation and CUI. These findings provide managerial implications for BNI to encourage users to download and continue using the app by prioritizing application stability, implementing age-segmented strategies, offering more rewards and promos, adding Quick Actions / Do Again features on the home screen, introducing a Group feature, gamifying and segmenting marketing features for young users, providing clear micro-guidance, and enabling live chat customer service.

Abstract

This research examines marketplace visibility optimization strategies for JSR Rimpang Tea, an underperforming herbal wellness beverage sold on the Shopee platform in Indonesia. Despite strong perceived product quality, JSR Rimpang Tea experienced weak sales performance due primarily to limited algorithmic visibility, low organic discoverability, and insufficient social proof rather than product inadequacy. Using a mixed-methods case study approach, the research integrates quantitative marketplace performance data from Shopee Analytics, a consumer survey of 200 respondents, competitive benchmarking using the 4P marketing mix framework, and qualitative insights from structured interviews with the business owner. The findings reveal that Shopee's algorithmic mechanisms—particularly search ranking, engagement signals, and recommendation systems—play a decisive role in driving semi-impulsive purchase behavior in resource-constrained SME contexts. The study develops a prioritized, SME-oriented marketplace visibility optimization framework emphasizing high-impact, low-cost strategies such as keyword optimization, systematic review accumulation, value-tier pricing alignment, flash sale participation, and selective influencer collaborations. This framework provides practical guidance for SMEs with limited budgets and organizational capacity to improve visibility and sales performance. The study contributes context-specific insights into Indonesian e-commerce dynamics and offers actionable recommendations for enhancing digital marketplace performance in the functional herbal beverage category.

Abstract

The adoption of reporting systems in organizations does not always lead to consistent use, especially in systems that are already in the post-adoption stage and integrated into routine work activities. MyRentokil is implemented at PT Rentokil Initial Indonesia to support service reporting and operational control; however, variations in employee usage behavior are still observed. This research aims to analyze the determinants of the adoption of the MyRentokil reporting system and its impact on employee job satisfaction. This quantitative study surveyed internal users (technicians and service supervisors) at PT Rentokil Initial Indonesia’s Tangerang branch and analyzed the data using PLS-SEM based on the UTAUT2 framework. The results of the study showed that business expectations had a significant effect on behavioral intention, while performance expectations did not have a significant effect. Behavioral intention also did not have a significant effect on actual usage behavior, indicating a gap between intention and usage in the context of organizational systems that have been integrated into work activities. Conversely, supportive conditions and habits were found to be the main factors influencing usage behavior. In addition, system usage behavior had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. In mature systems, sustained use depends more on ease of use, organizational support, and work habits than on perceived performance benefits or usage intention. This study extends the UTAUT2 framework to post-adoption contexts, offering practical insights for strengthening system use through structural integration to enhance job satisfaction.

Abstract

Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu-Geopark (CPUGGP) is a prestigious site as a UNESCO Global Geopark that is challenged by governance practices to convert formal recognition into sustainable stakeholder management. This research seeks to uncover the policy reasons for participation stagnation and the distinctive essence of the governance model. Adopting a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study conducts in-depth interviews with the Pentahelix actors and processes the data through the fusion of the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation and the Four Models of Public Relations. The results display an obvious structural imbalance: The government is in the central "Empower" position, while other parties are relegated to the periphery. This disparity maintains a charade of involvement in which participation means being administratively compliant and visibly ceremonious, rather than being equally co-creative. As a result, the ecosystem falls into the term "Participation Regression," whereby initial enthusiasm dissipates as there is no ongoing dialogic engagement. To address these structural gaps, this research suggests a transformative governance model rooted in Pentahelix Orchestration. The framework recommends a paradigm shift for communication from the technical exchange of information to strategic engagement that builds relationships. The objective is to turn stakeholder participation from episodic, one-off involvement in a procedure into relational engagement and empowered partnership, where passive awareness becomes active, sustainable co-creation.

Abstract

The digital economy has established crypto assets as a new form of wealth, yet conventional inheritance regulations have not fully accommodated their digital characteristics. This study aims to analyze the legal standing of crypto assets as inheritance objects under the Civil Code and Islamic Law, as well as their distribution mechanisms. The research employs a normative juridical method using statutory and conceptual approaches. The findings reveal that crypto assets are legally classified as intangible movable property under the Civil Code and qualify as m?l (wealth) eligible for inheritance under Islamic Law, provided they possess clear economic value and utility. However, technical constraints related to private key confidentiality and extreme value volatility remain primary obstacles in their distribution process. The study concludes that while crypto assets have a solid legal foundation to be recognized as inheritable property in Indonesia, sectoral regulatory harmonization and the development of digital will instruments are essential to ensure legal certainty and protect heirs’ economic rights over decentralized digital assets. Furthermore, the valuation of crypto assets for inheritance purposes should ideally be conducted at the time of distribution rather than at the time of the testator’s death, or alternatively through direct transfer of asset units, to uphold the principle of justice and safeguard heirs’ absolute rights amid the extreme price volatility characteristic of these digital assets.

Abstract

Architectural studios face ongoing challenges in balancing creativity with business-oriented formalization. This research examines Studio A, an Indonesian architectural studio established in 2010, which has experienced organizational challenges during its growth phase. In recent years, Studio A initiated several organizational changes, including restructuring toward a semi-corporate system and establishing new business units. However, these initiatives have been ineffective, resulting in delayed organizational reform and limited improvements in organizational effectiveness. This study addresses three research questions concerning the gap between current and desired organizational effectiveness, the alignment of Studio A's change process with established frameworks, and strategic actions required to improve organizational reform. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with current and former staff and the principal architect, complemented by benchmarking interviews with comparable studios. Secondary data were obtained from internal documents and relevant literature. The McKinsey 7S framework was used to assess gaps between current and ideal organizational states, while Kotter's 8-step change management framework evaluated the change process. Findings reveal significant gaps across the 7S dimensions, particularly in strategy communication, decision-making autonomy, leadership development, and talent management. The change process analysis indicates weak foundations in the early stages of change management, including an unclear vision and insufficient empowerment. This research recommends strategic actions focused on defining a clear vision, structuring decision-making autonomy, implementing leadership development programs, establishing phased hiring plans, developing structured talent management, and aligning compensation with staff expectations to enhance organizational effectiveness in creative-sector enterprises.

Abstract

Logistics costs for Main Distribution Material (MDU) of Low Voltage Switchgear Devices (PHBTR) increased from IDR 12.5 billion in 2023 to IDR 13.9 billion in 2024, alongside persistent delivery delays beyond the Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards (30 days for Sumatera and Jamali; 45 days for Kalimantan and Sulmapana). In 2023, 172 Detailed Contracts (8.35%) experienced delays, affecting 2,223 units (12.18%), while in 2024, 149 contracts (6.34%) were delayed, impacting 1,448 units (7.17%). The key challenge is developing a distribution allocation model that considers supplier cost differences and Unit Induk demand to improve transportation efficiency and reduce delays. This study applies a quantitative approach using internal secondary data from PT PLN Quarter III 2025, involving 17 suppliers and 22 Unit Induk. The Weighted Goal Programming method is employed to address multi-objective trade-offs between minimizing transportation costs and fulfilling regional demand. Modeling using LINGO software produced an optimal transportation cost of IDR 2,129,998,480 with zero deviation, indicating full demand satisfaction. Compared to the initial allocation cost of IDR 2,704,828,480, the optimized model generated savings of IDR 574,830,000 (approximately 21.25%), particularly for the PL-250-2-LBS, PL-400-2-LBS, and PL-400-4-LBS variants. The proposed model offers a practical decision-making framework to control logistics costs and enhance service reliability..

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of democratic leadership and work motivation on the loyalty of administrators of the West Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN). Administrator loyalty is a crucial factor for sustaining membership-based non-profit organizations that rely heavily on active participation and long-term commitment. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consists of all active administrators of KADIN West Jakarta, totaling 50 respondents, with a saturated sampling technique applied. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that democratic leadership has a positive and significant effect on administrator loyalty. Participatory decision-making, two-way communication, and appreciation of opinions strengthen administrators’ sense of belonging and organizational commitment. Furthermore, work motivation also shows a positive influence on loyalty, particularly through intrinsic aspects such as recognition, self-actualization, and opportunities for contribution. Simultaneously, democratic leadership and work motivation significantly contribute to enhancing the loyalty of KADIN West Jakarta administrators. This study provides theoretical contributions to organizational behavior literature and practical insights for non-profit organizations in developing effective leadership styles and motivational strategies to strengthen administrator loyalty.

Abstract

Waste has always been a major problem in the environment due to the lack of public knowledge in waste management. One type of waste commonly generated by people daily is plastic waste. One of the efforts that can be made to utilize plastic waste is to incorporate it as a mixture material in the production of paving blocks. The purpose of this study is to compare the mechanical properties of paving blocks for each type of plastic used, both in terms of compressive strength and water absorption. The methods employed include data collection and analysis, as well as laboratory testing. The findings indicate that HDPE plastic exhibits the highest compressive strength among the three types, while PP plastic shows the best water absorption performance, with HDPE also demonstrating favorable absorption characteristics. These results imply that plastic waste, particularly HDPE, can be effectively utilized as a sustainable alternative material in non-structural construction applications such as paving blocks, contributing to waste reduction efforts and promoting environmentally friendly construction practices. Thus, it is hoped that this research can serve as a reference in the processing of plastic waste in the fields of both architecture and environmental engineering.
