Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the role of the teacher in carrying out religious habituation through a behavioristic approach.The type of research used is field research, because the data information needed is dug up and collected from the field. This research method is descriptive qualitative in nature, meaning that research is about descriptive research. Research data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation.The results of his research are: 1) the habituation of religious behavior is continuous repetition over a long period of time with the aim of increasing sincerity in perfect religiosity in a good and right way. The religious activities include: a) the ritual dimension (shari'ah); b) ideological dimension (aqidah); c) intellectual dimension (knowledge); d) the dimension of experience or appreciation (experiential); e) the consequential dimension (practice). Linkages to the five religious dimensions, MI Nurul Islam teachers familiarize students with activities gradually; 2) As for the impact of habituation of religious behavior on MI Nurul Islam Wonogiri students from the stimulus that has been carried out by both parents and teachers, the impact on increasing the response is very good. This can be seen from the student's response to being accustomed to applying the five religious dimensions. 3) When students are given a stimulus by giving a good example in the form of thoughts, actions and words, providing guidance, direction, approaching and working with the student's guardians where it is consistently accustomed to every dimension of religious habituation, the student's response becomes accustomed to and loves the five religious dimension to be applied in everyday life as a form of human being who believes and fears God.

Abstract

Javanese is a native language, a regional language, and a cultural object that serves as a medium of communication. It is essential to protect Javanese as a world cultural heritage by passing it on and fighting for this cultural object. Sinau Basa, Sastra, lan Aksara Jawa (Si Batara Jawa) is a creative local content learning program in Javanese language as a tangible manifestation of the promotion of cultural objects, especially the Javanese language. Si Batara Jawa's creative learning activities include making vlogs in Javanese; learning Javanese literature through the creation of geguritan (Javanese poetry) integrated with the use of the Canva application; learning Macapat Pocung literature integrated with mathematics; and learning Javanese script using a step-by-step technique integrated with art lessons. Si Batara Jawa can improve students' understanding of teaching materials and motivate them to learn, love, and develop their creativity. The implementation of Si Batara Jawa using digital technology can guide students to be smart and creative in learning Javanese language, literature, and script teaching materials so that they can preserve and advance Javanese language culture.

Abstract

Learning that integrates local wisdom can enrich students’ educational experiences by connecting them with their cultural heritage. However, research shows that integrating local wisdom, particularly Javanese culture, into the context of English language learning remains limited. This study aims to explore the validity and practicality of English student worksheets based on Javanese local wisdom as a supplementary learning resource in English instruction. The research employed a development method using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) model. Participants involved in the validation process included one media expert, one subject matter expert, two practitioners, and nineteen fourth-grade students from two elementary schools. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of the study showed that the Javanese local wisdom-based English worksheets developed were “very feasible” based on the results of validation by media experts and subject matter experts, with a percentage of 88% each. The English worksheets based on Javanese local wisdom that were developed were “very practical” based on the percentage of teacher and student responses, with an average teacher response of 87.50% and an average student response of 83.79%. These results indicate that the Javanese local wisdom-based English worksheets are feasible and practical for use in English language learning. This study recommends the integration of local cultural elements into learning materials to foster student engagement and cultural appreciation while supporting student language development.

Abstract

This article examines various strategies for character building for students through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) courses at State Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIN). Character building is essential in the modern era full of moral and ethical challenges, where PTKIN has a strategic role in producing a generation of Muslims with strong character. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature study (library research) to identify and analyze effective strategies. The results of the study indicate that character building strategies through PAI courses at PTKIN include the integration of character values ​​in the syllabus and teaching materials, the use of participatory and experiential learning methods, the role of PAI lecturers as role models, the development of character-based teaching modules, and comprehensive evaluations that not only assess cognitive aspects but also affective and psychomotor. The implementation of this strategy is expected to optimize the role of PAI courses as the main locomotive in the formation of religious, moderate, tolerant, and integrity-based student characters.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project and Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile (P5-P2RA) in the context of vocational education. The Pancasila Student Profile consists of six main dimensions: faith and devotion to the Almighty God, global diversity, cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity. Meanwhile, the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile encompasses five dimensions of morality: towards Allah SWT, fellow humans, nature, oneself, and the nation and state. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method conducted at SMK Al Huda Wonogiri, Central Java. Data collection was carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the resourc., and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The P5-P2RA concept aims to develop a generation that is not only academically excellent but also possesses strong character and noble ethics. The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project and Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile (P5-P2RA) at SMK IT Al Huda Wonogiri represents a groundbreaking educational innovation that successfully harmonizes vocational training with comprehensive character development rooted in both Pancasila and Islamic values.

Abstract

Physical education as a forum for education carried out through physical activities has an important role in improving children's physical literacy. Various strategies need to be carried out by physical education teachers in order to make it happen. Physical literacy which contains knowledge and understanding, physical competence, motivation, and self-confidence is a concept that is very important for students to understand and have, so schools design student-oriented programs to be implemented by physical education teachers and other teachers. The implementation of a program implemented by teachers certainly needs to get help, support, and cooperation from parents of students and all school stakeholders. The purpose of this research is to find out what the role of physical education is in improving children's physical literacy. The method used in carrying out this research is literature review, where this research is carried out by conducting a study of the results of previous studies based on theories that can be accounted for to produce new and more up-to-date theories. The results of the interpretation of cause and effect of 8 articles that are relevant to the research keywords, namely children, physical literacy, and physical education, can be concluded that physical education has a very important role in improving children's physical literacy, namely by using fun games and professional development of teachers can increase children's physical literacy which has an impact on increasing physical activity and an active and healthy living culture throughout life.

Abstract

Learning environment management plays an important role in creating a conducive atmosphere and supporting student development. However, teachers often face challenges from both physical and social aspects. This article examines two cases, namely limited school land that hinders outdoor learning and bullying that disrupts the classroom social climate. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. The analysis shows that limited land requires teachers to be more creative through strategies such as rotation, the use of traditional games, and multifunctional spaces to ensure outdoor learning activities continue. Meanwhile, bullying highlights the teacher’s role in fostering positive social interactions, enforcing classroom rules, and involving parents and schools. These cases demonstrate that learning environment management is not only determined by physical facilities but also by the quality of social relationships. With teacher creativity and collective support, challenges can be overcome to create a safe and meaningful learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) at MAN 2 Karanganyar and its relation to the National Education Standards (NES), as well as the obstacles encountered in maintaining the quality of education. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through interviews with an educational staff member at MAN 2 Karanganyar. The findings reveal that the implementation of TQM has been carried out comprehensively by involving all school elements to support the achievement of the eight National Education Standards. This is realized through systematically designed and revised curricula, teacher training and certification, regular supervision by school leaders, the development of facilities and infrastructure, transparent financial management, and the provision of student skills in religious fields as well as work-related competencies such as culinary arts, fashion design, and graphic design. The study also identifies challenges in the form of resistance to change and an organizational culture that has not fully supported continuous improvement. To address these challenges, consistent leadership, intensive socialization, ongoing training, and the development of a participatory quality culture are required.

Abstract

INSPIRASIQU is a qualitative "best practice" approach that integrates the use of reflective quotes with interactive PhET (Physics Education Technology) simulations to create more relevant and meaningful physics learning experiences. This approach aims to bridge students' cognitive and affective domains and also foster their critical and reflective thinking skills.The implementation method begins with presenting reflective quotes to stimulate curiosity and activate prior knowledge. Subsequently, students explore physics concepts, such as kinematics and basic mechanics, using PhET simulations, which allow for direct manipulation of variables. The final stage involves reflection and group discussion to connect the simulation results with the reflective quotes and real-life experiences.The results of the study show an improvement in student engagement, conceptual understanding, and reflective attitudes. Students became more enthusiastic and motivated as a result of the observation. Students also reported that the quotes helped them "associate physics with real-life aspects," making the concepts feel more relevant and easier to understand.In conclusion, the integration of PhET simulations and reflective quotes has proven effective in enhancing student engagement, understanding, and reflective attitudes toward the physics material.

Abstract

This research discusses the contextual approach in teaching fifth grade fiqh at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Bamban Giriwoyo. This research aims to identify and analyze the application of a contextual approach in learning fiqh at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Bamban Giriwoyo. The method used is a qualitative approach with case studies, which allows in-depth exploration of the phenomenon under study. Data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, as well as documentation studies. The research results show that applying a contextual approach can improve students' understanding of fiqh material, by taking into account local social and cultural characteristics. Apart from that, this research also identified supporting factors, including available and varied learning media being the main strength, including references from books, academic journals and electronic sources. And inhibiting factors include limited facilities and inadequate infrastructure which becomes an obstacle to the learning process. It is hoped that these findings can provide practical contributions for teachers in designing more meaningful and contextual jurisprudence learning, as well as enriching the treasures of Islamic education research.
