Abstract

In the modern era, it will be very difficult for humans to carry out activities without the presence of electrical energy. This is due to the fact that most of the current human needs are based on the use of electronic instruments and machines that require electrical power as their main source of energy. In addition, the availability of electricity is one of the important parameters for the progress, growth and development of an area in the economic, industrial, public service, commercial sectors and even improve the quality of life of it’s people. So that electrical energy planning is needed to overcome and provide solutions to electrical energy problems. This research uses LEAP (Long-Range Energy Alternative Planning Systems) software with the DKL 3.2 approach model to calculate the projected electricity supply needs in Papua province in 2018-2038. From the calculation results of the projection using the DKL 3.2 method for the needs and customers of electricity in 2018-2038, the demand for electricity in the household, industrial, business, and public sectors grew by 12.66%, 16.43%, 5.87 % and 9.78%. As for the projected number of electricity customers in the same sector, customer growth was 6.42%, 4.50%, 3.40% and 6.42%. The results of this study indicate an increase in energy demand in all customer sectors. Keywords : projection, electrical energy, DKL 3.2 metdod, LEAP

Abstract

Air kerap menjadi masalah dalam dunia pertambangan di Indonesia yang memiliki curah hujan yang cukup tinggi karena dilalui garis khatulistiwa, curah hujan yang cukup tinggi ini dapat menyebabkan tergnggunya aktivitas penambangan. Berdasarkan data Kementrian Energi Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM, 2018) terdapat 8588 perusahaan yang telah memiliki Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) dengan 6390 perusahaan yang telah memiliki IUP Clean and Clear dan 2.198 perusahaan yang memiliki IUP non Clean and Clear. Apabila semua perusahaan yang telah mendapatkan IUP CnC dan rata-rata debit air limpasan minimum yang diambil dari beberapa perusahaan tambang di Indonesia adalah sebesar 1,54 /detik, maka dapat dihitung potensi jumlah air buangan tambang pada area IUP CnC dan potensi energti listrik yang dihasilkan melalui teknologi mikrohidro. Penerapan teknologi ini dapat dilakukan dengan merancang sistem aliran untuk menentukan jumlah serta ketinggaian aliran pada teknologi mikrohidro. Berdasarkan rancangan dan debit rata-rata yang didapat, maka dapat diperkirakan bahwa potensi energi listrik yang dapat dihasilkan melalui pendekatan analisis adalah sebesar 246,8 MW. Nilai potensi energy listrik sebesar ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kebutuhan listrik yang lainnya sehingga dapat memungkinkan tercapaikan rasio elektrifikasi tahun 2019.

Abstract

The utilization of waste in the form of coconut fiber is still limited to the furniture and handicraft industries of households and has not been processed into technological products. The purpose of this study is to design a coconut husk decomposition tool that can be used in the industrial world, especially on the scale of SMEs (Small and Medium Industries). The results of this study were made to decompose coconut coir with the following specifications: tool dimensions 1650 x 540 x 1000 mm, frame using UNP 60 lightweight stell, tube using 3 mm eser plate, knife using strip plate 2 x 8 x 6 mm, using movers using 8 HP diesel engine as a substitute for an electric motor and 2600 rpm rotation. Coconut coir production capacity of 50,88 grains ≈ 51 coconuts per hour with a total coconut weight of 67,8 kg per hour. The effectiveness of the work of decomposing coconut coir is 0,96. Abstract

Sleman Regency is one of the districts in Yogyakarta which is experiencing rapid urban physical development. This regency has a greater impact than the physical development of urban cities in Yogyakarta compared to other districts in the Yogyakarta region. This affects impact to increase the land value. One factor affecting the value of land in Yogyakarta is the quality of the road leading to the land. Road quality is divided into road classes and types of pavement. This paper is to examine the influence of road quality on the value of land transacted in Ngaglik Sleman sub-district using Mann Whitney test. The results show that the influence of road quality on the value of land transacted in Ngaglik subdistrict of Sleman in 2012 to 2016. It shows that there are significant differences in the median land price between groups of road quality. Next, There are significant differences in the distribution of land price data between road quality groups

Abstract

Berkembangnya bisnis e-commerce membuat bisnis pengiriman barang juga meningkat, karena jasa kurir berhubungan langsung dengan konsumen dan memiliki peran penting yang tidak dapat dipungkiri, karena jasa pengiriman dapat menjadi perantara suksesnya suatu transaksi dari penjual ke pembeli. Keberadaan penyedia jasa pengiriman barang memiliki peran yang strategis untuk meningkatkan kinerja arus pergerakan barang dari dan ke suatu wilayah lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai kepuasan pelayanan terhadap tingkat kualitas pada perusahaan jasa pengiriman barang XY Express, mengetahui atribut kualitas pelayanan yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada perusahaan jasa pengiriman barang dan rekomendasi yang dapat diusulkan untuk perbaikan pelayanan pada XY Express Wanajaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan user based approach, yaitu mengukur kualitas pelayanan jasa secara kuantitatif dalam bentuk kuesioner dan menggunakan dimensi-dimensi kualitas jasa yag meliputi penampilan fisik (tangible), kehandalan (reliability), ketanggapan (responsiveness), kepastian (assurance), dan empati (emphaty). Kata kunci: Kualitas Pelayanan, ServQual, Kano Model, Quality Function Deployment.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Styrofoam is a type of organic chemical that cannot be broken down by nature. The existence of Styrofoam waste which has more and more adverse impacts on health and the environment, so it is necessary to find a solution so that its use can be minimized as well as efforts to reduce these adverse effects. One of the efforts made is to convert styrofoam waste into membranes. This study aims to synthesize and characterize the use of styrofoam waste as a membrane using the electrospinning method. 2 gram of Styrofoam was dissolved into the orange peel water of 5 ml, 10 ml, 15 ml and 20 ml. Styrofoam membranes are perfectly formed in styrofoam solution with 10 ml and 15 ml orange peel water. The FTIR spectrum results explain the shift of the -OH group to the wave number 3277.48 cm-1 with a wider peak and the ester group shifting at the wave number of 2084.49 cm-1 with a sharp absorption spectrum. Meanwhile, the results of SEM styrofoam membrane with 10 ml orange peel water and 15 ml, have a very good morphology and no beads. The average diameter of styrofoam fiber with 10 ml orange peel water is 237 ± 26 nm and styrofoam with 15 ml orange peel water is 334 ± 40 nm. With all the advantages of the membrane is expected to provide benefits for the environment and economically. Keywords: styrofoam, membrane, orange peel water, electrospinning

Abstract

ABSTRACT Coal mining, excavation and stockpiling activities carried out by PT. Bukit Asam Tbk has the potential to produce acidic water or commonly called acid mine drainage (AAT) which does not meet environmental quality standards including pH parameters, Fe and Mn metal content to fulfill the quality standards must be processed and handled. PT. Bukit Asam Tbk in handling acid mine drainage using active treatment and passive (passive treatment). The active method is by using chemicals as neutralization pH includes quicklime, in the mining industry tohor lime is commonly used in neutralizing the acidity (pH) of acid mine drainage. The results showed that AAT prior to handling had not met environmental quality standards (BML) based on Ministerial decree of environmental number 113 of 2003 and South Sumatra governor of regulations number 8 of 2012 for pH parameters (4) Fe concentration (8.2908 mg/l) and Mn concentration (6.1295 mg/l). Whereas after handling using calcium lime has met BML set by the government based on the parameters ph (7), the concentration of Fe (0.3259), and the concentration of Mn (0.2685).Comparison of the need for the amount of lime and the volume of acid mine drainage in the KPL ALP channel is obtained if the volume of water in the KPL is 8,640,000 L/day, then the need for quicklime (1.728 Kg/day), then 6,912,000 L/day for quicklime (1.382,4 Kg/day) and the volume of water 9,504,000 L/day, the need for quicklime (1.900,8 Kg/day).Keyword : Acid mine drainage, active method, pH, Fe, Mn

Abstract

The development of electronic technology, especially in the industrial world plays an important role in the production process. Currently there are many machines that calculate the number of manufactured goods. But the counting machine is only able to count the number of items without storing the large number of items that have been produced and there are still those that are not equipped with a monitoring system. Workers must make a report for the amount of goods that have been produced. This can affect the production process which will grow longer and is also very dependent on the limitations of human labor. Conveyor system design uses Raspberry pi model B and Arduino as a control system and HMI. The Optocoupler sensor is used to calculate the number of rotations when the conveyor drive dc motor has started operating. The data obtained will then be displayed on the LCD touchscreen by Raspberry Pi and will also be sent to the server so that it can be monitored online. Besides being displayed, the user can control the speed of the conveyor and also provide setpoints for goods count. The results of this study are the Conveyor System which can be monitored online or offline. Motor speed regulation can also be done by giving pwm to enable motor driver pin. The reading of the motor RPM by using the optocoupler also has very little error, at 4.1%.

Abstract

The fingerprint-based biometric system is one of the safety standard in office and used to check employee attendancee. The method that commonly used in fingerprints detection, is image extraction from fingerprint sensor acquisition. The image extraction will produce a special feature which is called minutiae. Each person has a specific minutiae that can be used as a basis for fingerprint detection. First step regarding to fingerprint detection is to convert the image into binary thus thinning image method can be implemeted to obtain skeleton image. After image thinning is applied, extraction minutiae is following by ridge bifurcation and ridge ending identification on the image. This research merely uses two types of minutiae. The next step in the extraction feature is image matching to test the similarity between the image from the data test and database. Euclidean distance is used to test the similarity both of images and thresholding method is to determine the degree of similarity. This study enhances the method by adding average Euclidean distance formulation, which considers the value from all similar fingerprints database. In order to test the result of the proposed method, the DB1 international standard data set are used which consist of 80 types of fingerprints from 10 different people. The result shows that the method applied has an accuracy of 81.25% which means that the method can be used as an algorithm to solve fingerprint detection problem..

Abstract

Musik yang telah lahir sejak dahulu kala biasanya digunakan dalam upacara – upacara kepercayaan tertentu, saat ini menjadi alternatif dibidang medis sebagai alat terapis, membantu dalam upaya merelaksasikan tubuh dan hal lainnya. Pemanfaatan musik dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi fitur domain frekuensi respon otak seseorang terhadap stimulasi yang diberikan berupa pure tone, instrument dan nature sound dan bagian otak seseorang yang dominan saat terstimulasi musik / suara tersebut, dimana untuk melihat respon otak tersebut diperlukan electroencephalograph (EEG). Tiga orang subjek sehat telah melakukan minimal 5 kali pengambilan data. Pada saat stimulus pure tone dan nature sound, didapatkan fitur domain frekuensi respon otak yang dominan berada di-frontal pada kanal F8 dan F4 dengan nilai korelasi 0.9530 dan 0.8943 dengan gelombang β (beta). Untuk stimulus instrument respon otak menunjukkan dominasi pada gelombang α (alfa) pada bagian otak parietal. Setiap subjek akan mengalami perbedaan respon otaknya terhadap stimulasi yang diberikan, namun kesamaan pada bagian otak tertentu menunjukkan bahwa respon yang diberikan stimulus tertentu akan mendominasi bagian tertentu.
