The research employs panel data, incorporating both cross-sectional and time series data from 2020-2023. Through the application of Fixed Effect Model (FEM), the findings reveal that Labor Force Participation Rate and Population Size demonstrate no significant effect, whereas Minimum Wage exhibits a significant influence on the Unemployment Rate in Banten. The simultaneous test indicates that these three variables collectively have a significant impact on unemployment levels in Banten Province.

The data used includes secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Central Java Province. The research method used is a quantitative method with panel data regression analysis. This study uses EViews 12 as a statistical tool in testing the selection of models between FEM, CEM, and REM to testing the hypothesis. The results of this study reveal that the HDI, UMK, and GRDP variables have a significant effect on the Open Unemployment Rate in Central Java Province 2019-2023. Meanwhile, the TPAK variable does not have a significant effect on the Open Unemployment Rate in Central Java Province 2019-223. Meanwhile, the variables of HDI, UMK, PDRB, and TPAK have a significant influence and simultaneously on the Open Unemployment Rate in Central Java Province 2019-2023.

Abstract

The welfare of society, represented by human development, is influenced by various factors, primarily health and economic conditions. This study examines the effect of life expectancy (LE) and economic growth on the Human Development Index (HDI) in ASEAN during the 2012–2021 period. The data were sourced from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) website. Panel data regression analysis was employed in this research. The findings indicate that LE has a partially significant positive effect on HDI, while the economic growth variable has a partially significant negative effect on HDI. Both LE and economic growth variables jointly have a significant effect on HDI. The coefficient of determination reveals that 86.60% of the variations in HDI can be explained by the independent variables, while the remaining 13.40% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study.

Abstract

Increased economic growth is influenced by increased exports and imports, especially in the era of globalization. However, there are trade policies that can harm the national economy. Therefore, this research aims to determine the influence of exports and imports on Indonesia's economic growth for the 2014-2023 period. This research uses a quantitative approach with annual time series data taken using documentation techniques. In addition, multiple linear regression analysis techniques were used in this research to see the influence of export and import variables on Indonesia's economic growth. The results of this research are that exports have a significant negative effect on Indonesia's economic growth. Meanwhile, imports influence Indonesia's economic growth in a significantly positive way.

This study aims to examine the influence of the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR), Human Development Index (HDI), and Regional Minimum Wage (RMW) on the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) in 8 regencies/cities in Banten Province from 2019-2023. The research employs multiple linear regression analysis with panel data. The result indicate that all three variables have a simultaneous effect on the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR). Additionally, Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) does not have an effect on the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR). In contrast, the Human Development Index (HDI) has a significant negative effect on the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR). Meanwhile, the Regional Minimum Wage (RMW) has a significant positive effect on the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR).

Abstract

The labour force participation rate is a crucial indicator of a region's economic dynamics, since an imbalance between labour force growth and job creation can result in elevated unemployment and hinder regional development. The government attempts to increase labor force participation by improving the quality of human resources and setting the minimum wage. This study uses BPS data and panel data regression analysis to determine the effect of the Human Development Index (HDI) and MSE (District/City Minimum Wage) on the labor force participation rate in Central Java. The findings of this study show that MSEs have no significant impact on labor force participation in Central Java Province, but HDI has a significant impact.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the share prices of commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2019-2023 period with a quantitative approach and using secondary data. The variables explained include Non-Performing Loans (NPL), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), and Inflation, with stock prices as the dependent variable. The method used is panel data regression with Eviews 10 software. The research results show that simultaneously, NPL, NPM, ROA and inflation have a significant effect on stock prices. Partially, NPL and inflation have no significant effect, while NPM and ROA have a significant positive effect on stock prices. These findings confirm that profitability and asset management efficiency play an important role in influencing stock prices, while credit risk and macroeconomic factors tend to have minimal influence. This research provides insight for investors and bank management in making investment decisions and managing bank financial performance..

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate whether government budget allocations in the education, health, and social protection sectors have an influence on the Human Development Index and economic growth for 38 districts/cities in East Java Province. Using data from 2020, the panel data regression method was used to assess the interrelationship of various variables. The research results indicate that the health and education sectors have positive and significant impacts on the Human Development Index (HDI), which in turns has an impact on economic growth. In contrast, social protection expenditure is not significant to HDI or economic growth. This study confirms the importance of investment in the sectors of health and education in improve people's quality of life and economic productivity. This is proven by strengthening the human capital, which is the pillar of sustainable economic growth. However, for social protection spending, more targeted management is also needed to have a more optimal impact on human and economic development. The research gives insights for policy makers to design government strategies for inclusive and competitive empowerment.
