Abstract

The development of Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology in optical networks driven by the need for very large transmission capacities has resulted in rapid changes in the provision of large bandwidth capacities in networks. This canal transport system in the wavelength domain provides high flexibility for network operators in meeting current and future needs.

Abstract

The electrical installation system is a process of distributing electrical power generated from an electric power source to electrical devices or loads. The main purpose of lighting electrical installations is to provide comfort in situations that require accuracy, lighting that has a high intensity is needed, while for jobs that require accuracy, there is no need to use lights that have a large brightness. The installation is divided into two parts, namely electrical power installation and lighting installation. Indoor installations are electrical installations inside buildings (including for lighting, terraces and others) while installations outside buildings are installations used to run electrical machines including here installations to service electric motors in factories, water pumps, etc., on machines.

Abstract

Payment tuition is a school financial component that handles administrative tasks to manage incoming and outgoing cash flows in an educational institution. Utrujah International Islamic College has a payment tuition process that is still experiencing problems because it is still processing financial data manually, namely by recording transactions in a book and using Microsoft Excel for reporting, so the process of paying fees there is still problematic. Therefore it is prone to errors in the procedure for recording transactions. This design aims to improve school administration payment services, speed up data management and prevent data input errors. Making a web-based system will be made using the waterfall and UML methods which will be discussed in this study. This payment tuition system was successfully built with waterfall method and using the PHP programming language. System testing was successfully carried out using blackbox testing.

Abstract

Indonesia is a nation with a diversity of languages and cultures. The regions in Indonesia have several different languages as a medium for communication. Language itself has an important value in the daily life of today's society because it is a means of communication. Besides that, language also includes self-identity and culture. Therefore preserving regional languages is important. This research aims to design a mobile-based Mongondow language recognition application that is easy for Android users to use anywhere and anytime. The developer method used for designing this application is Rapid Application Development (RAD). Designing and developing this application uses the Kodular website with drag-and-drop block programming features without having to type coding. From the research that has been done, an application for the introduction of the Mongondow language will help the general public and young people, especially those in Bolaang Mongondow, in learning the local language. Also, the community can prevent the loss of their mother tongue in their area.

Abstract

This research study uses the Scrum method. This method is a method related to how to conduct studies with agile software development. Scrum is a method whose evaluation can provide good results for the software processor on the computer to increase one's curiosity to always act as a user in the computer applications that are running. The activities carried out include the creation of product backlogs, sprint backlogs, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Scrum participates. Scrum owns the application being run, including the Scrum Master and the development team. The stages or steps that are carried out in Scrum are well managed and structured to achieve good results and are fun to use, use them effectively and efficiently so that it creates a feeling of pleasure for users when operating them and results that will be developed next can use existing systems and use things according to the evaluation or procurement according to the needs of the user. The findings from the activity of developing a Website-based Delivery Order application using the scrum method have proven that existing problems can be easily resolved by changing the requirements in the state of the system group, providing results that are in line with the desired needs realized by the user and direct assessments can be held shortly after using the held device.

Abstract

Sophisticated technological advances are very rare to find someone who does not use the internet network because this internet network is not only done for social media but is needed in a job. A stable internet network and wide coverage make it easier for students and teachers to access the internet for learning purposes. It is necessary to design or build a better computer network. This study uses library research methods, observation/field studies, and direct interviews to carry out data collection and develop a system used by NDLC that has been implemented and has been approved by the leadership of SMP 3 Tondano; construction has been carried out on the Internet network using the system proxy router.

Abstract

The virtual tour is a simulation technology that can show users a 360-degree image of a place and gives users an experience like being somewhere just by looking at a monitor screen. The tourism introduction sector in an area with beautiful destinations is very important. It needs to get good attention from the government and the community to create easy access to information. For this reason, developing the Virtual Tour website is one of the best efforts to introduce regional-owned tourism, which needs to be made to inform the wider community. The development of a website with the title "Web-Based Lahendong Village Tourism Virtual Tour using the Prototyping method" made by this author will greatly assist local governments as well as the public and potential tourists in terms of accessing tourism information in the form of virtual tours in Lahendong Village. The research was conducted using the Prototyping method.

Abstract

Aluminum is an excellent material for making composites because it is lightweight, ductile, does not corrode easily and is easier to shape and fabricate. Various properties of existing aluminum, aluminum has mechanical properties that are not good, namely very low hardness. In a good method for processing aluminum, namely stir casting, why is this method used because it is quite cheap and easy to process by means of an alloy that is heated with an adjusted heat and stirred to mix all the existing composite materials and given reinforcement or grain refiner to obtain a good and evenly distributed composite metric without reducing the function of the existing composite. The method used in this study serves to improve the mechanical properties of a metal and SiC is used as a reinforcement and TiB is used as a grain refiner. SiC has advantages over other ceramic materials, namely it bonds easily with aluminum and does not cause oxidation of aluminum metal. Increasing the wetability of metal alloys with reinforcement, the technique used is by stirring when the liquid metal is in a semisolid phase. This research focused on variations in weight percent SiC powder 0%, 5%, 7.5%, and 10% and the addition of 5% Tib. To determine the physical and mechanical properties of the Al-SiC-TiB composite, several tests were carried out, namely density, porosity, hardness, bending and microstructure tests. The results of the tests showed that the highest density value was found at 0% SiC by weight at 2.70 gr/cm3, the lowest at 10% SiC at 2.65 gr/cm3. Porosity calculations show that the highest porosity value is found in 10% SiC by weight of 3.16%. The highest hardness test result was 10% SiC by weight at 72.6 HRB and the bending test result with the highest hardness value at 10% SiC by weight was 371.5 MPa. The test results show that the mechanical properties increase with the increase in the percentage of SiC powder up to 10% and with the addition of TiB the finer grains are produced so that the porosity decreases.

Abstract

In order to prevent marine pollution on board a motor ship, this study examines how the Garbage Management Plan (GMP) has been implemented. This study analyzes the elements that influence the success of GMP, such as regulatory requirements, crew training and awareness, availability of infrastructure and resources, monitoring, and law enforcement. This is done through examining the implementation and impact of GMP. Methods of literature study, questionnaires, interviews, and qualitative analysis were used in this study. The findings of this study show how important GMP implementation is in minimizing marine pollution. The success of GMP is greatly influenced by adherence to clear and stringent regulatory standards. Successful implementation also depends on crew training and awareness. In addition, the effectiveness of GMP in motor ships depends on the availability of adequate infrastructure and resources. Preventing marine pollution has a positive impact with effective GMP monitoring and enforcement.

Abstract

One concern to support the success of the company is about the performance of each employee. Employee performance has several factors that can influence it, including satisfaction and workload received by each employee in the company. PT. Indonesia Tri Sembilan feels that the performance of its employees is still not optimal and it is felt that it can be improved further, therefore an evaluation is needed on the factors that affect the level of employee performance. The variables used are performance, job satisfaction, and employee workload. Data collection used the questionnaire distribution method and data processing used the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 and SmartPLS 4 applications. Respondents are permanent staff at PT. Indonesia Tri Sembilan with a total of 39 people. From the results of the research, the researchers stated that there was a significant influence between Job Satisfaction and Performance and had a positive effect. Researchers also stated that there was a significant influence between workload and performance but had a negative effect.
