Abstract

CV Gemilang Kencana is a company engaged in the manufacturing and processing industry of carica sweets which was established on October 10, 2013. The carica fruit itself is a fruit that grows in the highlands of Wonosobo. From the production of carica sweets, there are several problems during the production process, including defects in packaging products such as slanted labels, inappropriate product weight, damaged/leaky packaging cups, with a total product defect of 474 cups with the most defects on February 29, 2023. from product defects that have been described, therefore quality control is needed to reduce product defects, namely by using the seven tools method in quality control. The control chart table shows the most defects, namely on the 29th with a total of 43 cups of defects while the highest level of disability is on the 7th with a middle limit value of 0.0079, an upper limit of 0.012692, and a lower limit of 0.003108. The histogram graph shows the highest defect, namely the damaged / leaky packaging cup, after that the product weight defect does not match and the lowest is the slanted label. In the pareto diagram through processing, a pareto diagram is made with the most dominant result of defects, namely damaged/leaking cup packaging with a value of 47.68%. Based on the scatter diagram, which involves two variables, namely the variable number of production and total product defects. Based on the scatter diagram, it can be seen that the shape of the distribution has a positive correlation or relationship between the amount of production and product defects. Based on fishbone analysis, the causes of product defects are from several factors, namely machine, human, environmental, and methods factors so that companies take preventive or corrective actions to minimize defects during the production process.

Abstract

Bensin adalah salah satu jenis bahan bakar yang banyak digunakan sebagai sumber tenaga dari kendaraan bermotor. Mesin pada motor 2tak merupakan salah satu motor yang mengunakan bensin sebagai bahan bakarnya. Sejalan dengan perkembangan ilmu dan teknologi banyak terjadi penyempurnaan dan pengembangan komponen–komponen untuk menambahkan daya dan torsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh modifikasi blok silider pada lubang buang terhadap daya dan torsi pada sepeda motor 2 tak vespa exel 150.Dengan lubang buang standar tinggi 24mm dan lubang buang modifikasi tinggi 28mm dengan uji dynotest untuk mengetahui daya da torsi dari 3000 RPM sampai 7000 RPM. Hasil pengujian menujukan bahwa daya maksimal pada lubang buang standar sebesar 7,76 HP pada RPM 5420 sedangkan lubang buang modifikasi memperoleh daya maksimal sebesar 8,47 HP pada putaran RPM 5740. Untuk torsi maksimum lubang buang standar diperoleh sebesar 10,91 Nm pada putaran RPM 4920 sedangkan pada lubang buang modifikasi memperoleh torsi maksimal sebesar 11,42 Nm pada putaran RPM 4700

Abstract

The background of this research is the adjustment of the valve gap which can affect the performance of the motorcycle engine. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the effect of valve clearance adjustment on engine performance and to overcome valve gap adjustment errors. The research was conducted in a motorcycle workshop, on a 4 stroke 110 cc motorcycle engine using a quantitative and informative method approach. Data were obtained through literature research and factory determination, observation and interviews. Then Several customization steps are carried out at the implementation stage, starting with standard customization, over and under standard settings. The research results decide the standard setting. It is hoped that the implementation of the analysis of the influence of valve settings on motorcycle engines will become material for our knowledge.

Abstract

The development of an automation system is one of the efforts for efficiency and effectiveness in the use of technology, this can be applied to apartment unit doors. A security system on the door, the process of opening or locking the door is usually done manually using a key. Smart Lock Door is a development of conventional door locks or padlocks by carrying out several additional sensor developments. This study uses Arduino Uno as a microcontroller as a selenoid brain by carrying out several programming commands. The addition of smoke sensors and fire sensors is used to make it easier for workers to a work accident occurs to get out of the work room. Smart Lock Door is an additional emergency facility in the workspace. The method used is the VDI 2221 method by approaching the product to be made by carrying out several questionnaire collection processes, with the aim that we can realize the user's wishes for the product and making it easier for users to operate the Smart lock door device. Tool testing against the VDI 2221 method is also very influential with the success rate of the Smart lock door tool.

The exhaust is part of the exhaust on the motorbike which is designed for exhaust gas exhaust paths and as a motor silencer. The exhaust system or often called the exhaust has an important role in the function of the exhaust (muffler) as a silencer and regulates the direction of flow of combustion gases so that they flow regularly. This study aims to examine the effect of exhaust changes on torque and power or performance of Aerox 155cc motorbikes. The maximum torque of the standard exhaust is 11.36 N.m and the power is 11.01 HP. On the racing exhaust, the torque is 11.14 N.m with a power of 11.33 HP. Changes in the exhaust affect motorcycle performance but not significantly.

Abstract

Eastern Indonesia is a geologically complex region. Until now, the research carried out in Eastern Indonesia and the surrounding area is still not comprehensive, so further studies and research are continuing. Research that continues to be done in Eastern Indonesia, especially in the Bird's Head region, provides various hypotheses regarding the structure and tectonics that develop in the area. Bintuni Fault Zone (Bintuni Fault Zone - SFZ) is a young structure that develops in the northern part of Papua, extending up to 1000 km from the eastern to the western Bird's Head. The purpose of this study was to determine the continuity of the direction patterns of the Bintuni Fault structure that developed in the Bintuni and surrounding areas. The method used to determine the clarity of the Bintuni Fault structure can be known from the rock outcrop data that has been passed by the fault, which is in the form of structural data. The results showed that the Bintuni Fault as a strike slip fault along its fault zone in a shear zone can form a stepover, a zone that experiences depression and ridge that occurs due to transpression and transtension forces. This identification isbased on the discovery of some evidence in the field, in the form of fault data with slicken sides found at the TKS-01.

Abstract

PT Madubaru is a company engaged in the sugar manufacturing agro-industry. For now the demand for sugar is increasing. But in reality the company has not been able to meet the increasing demand for production resulting in delays to consumers. In 2021 in August the number of sugar sales was 7,758,929 kg, which was previously in July 1,313,720 kg. So it is necessary to change the production schedule using the Nawas Enscore HAM (NEH) Algorithm Method because it is superior compared to other heuristic methods because it is more thorough in calculating the possible sequence of scheduled jobs. And the Harmony Search Algorithm method is proven to be able to reduce or maximize problems in production process scheduling. The makespan value generated by the company's actual method is 67.6 minutes, then the makespan value for the NEH method is 17.6 minutes, and the makespan value for the HSA method is 40 minutes. So that from the production scheduling design, the smallest makespan value is by using NEH with the order of Bulk Sugar-Packed Sugar jobs. Companies can consider their efforts in achieving their company goals, namely by making changes to production scheduling using the Nawaz Enscore Ham Algorithm because the order obtained can minimize completion time.

Abstract

Every work environment certainly contains high potential hazards so that prevention and control efforts are needed so that work accidents do not occur. Because the production process uses machines and the work at each station has different risks of work accidents and potential sources of danger, it is necessary to analyze the Potential Hazards and Risks of Work Accidents in the Production Section of PG Madukismo using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) Method. The results showed that in the work activities at PG Madukismo there was 1 work activity with extreme risk category, 34 activities with high risk category, 67 work activities with moderate risk category work activities and 15 work activities with low risk category. The control that can be done is to supervise the use of PPE such as masks, safety shoes, safety gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, safety harnesses and helmets during the work process. Implementing engineering control by making handrails on stairs that do not have handles and making protective fences and installing toe boards and others. Administrative control is by installing warning signs and safety guards, understanding and carrying out work activities according to the SOP.

Abstract

PT Mitra Rekatama Mandiri is an industrial foundry that makes metal products. The problem that occurs in the company is related to the quality of products that are still experiencing defects with the percentage of defects reaching 5.6% during February-March 2023. The research conducted aims to identify the dominating errors in the fabrication process, determine the factors that cause product defects. The methods applied are Statistical Process Control and 5W + 1H to be able to analyze problems related to product quality control. Based on the results of the study, there were 3 types of defects, namely 52% lossal defects, 30% porous, and 17% lossal defects. The results of the fishbone diagram are known factors that cause defects, namely human factors, methods, materials, machines.
