Abstract

Not all married couples are able to have children naturally even though they have had sexual relations. In vitro fertilization techniques are a means to help with this problem. However, there are opinions for and against this effort. The inability of a husband and wife is God's will that must be accepted, so trying to carry out an in vitro fertilization program means not accepting the destiny that God has given. Therefore, starting from this statement, this article will discuss how to understand the verses of the Qur'an related to this phenomenon, especially Surah Al Baqarah verse 223. Researchers are interested in studying using the Tafsir Maqhasidi Abdul Mustaqim approach and using the Library method. Research. The results of this research are in the explanation of Surah Al Baqarah verse 223 that the wife is like a field for cultivating crops and is allowed to be interfered with from any direction through the farji' hole. However, if there is interference with the sexual organs, it will certainly hinder the ability to have offspring. In this case, the fusion of sperm and ovum can be carried out outside the uterus using in vitro fertilization techniques. The efforts carried out through the in vitro fertilization program are related to several maqasid principles, namely hifdz an nasb (protecting offspring), hifdz mal (protecting property), hifdz diin (guarding religion), hifdz aql (protecting reason) and hifz nafs (protecting the soul) .

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes to various aspects of human life, including the fields of education and the dissemination of Islam. In this context, digital Sufism is often promoted as an appealing approach to spreading Islamic values. One of Indonesia's famous poets and singers, Panji Sakti, has successfully integrated Sufi values into contemporary music. This is evident from the elaboration of messages from Quranic verses in the lyrics of songs popularized through digital media. One of his songs, titled "Tafsir Cinta," contains lyrics that romanticize the love between God and His servant. This study aims to explore the aspects of Sufism present in the song's lyrics. The research is directed at examining how Panji Sakti conveys the Sufi message from QS. al-Mā’idah: 83-85 in a song and its impact on religious practices in the digital era. This study involves library research. Discourse analysis is used to understand how Sufi messages are conveyed and interpreted in the digital context. The research also employs the living Qur'an perspective to explore the values of the Qur'an in the song lyrics. The results of this study show that the contents of this song match up with the message and meaning of QS. al-Mā’idah: 83–85. That ayah and the song have a common characteristic, which is to regard tears as a symbol of human intimacy with God. This song has had over 1.7 million plays on Spotify, 543 million views on YouTube, and thousands of views on Instagram and Tiktok. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the understanding of the importance of digital media, such as contemporary music, as a means of spreading Islam to reach a wider audience, especially among the younger generation.

Abstract

In the era of advancing technology and industry, digital technology and social media have become crucial tools for individuals and Muslim communities to express their religious identities, share religious knowledge, and build social networks. This research identifies various forms of religious expression emerging on digital platforms, including blogs, vlogs, podcasts, and social media. The study employs a qualitative descriptive research method to gather diverse sources and analyze participatory and content-based digital Muslim practices. The findings indicate that digital technology has expanded the scope and forms of religious practices, allowing flexibility in worship and creating space for more inclusive discussions and interpretations of religion. These insights shed light on how Muslims adapt to technological changes and how digitalization influences the dynamics of religious expression in contemporary Muslim societies.
