This study aims to determine the basis of the practice of reading pray Al-Insyirah at PPTQ Putri Al-Lathifiyyah Palembang, in order to explain how the procession of implementation, understanding, and meaning is felt by pray practitioners as well as how the reception of female students towards the tradition of reading pray Al-Insyirah. This type of research is field research using the living Qur'an method. As for the data analysis technique in this study using phenomenological description analysis. After conducting a study in this study, it was found that the asbab an-nuzul from the surah Al-Insyirah and the diploma from the cleric Adlan Ali to Ustadzah Lailatul Mu'jizat. M.Ag and then certificated to all female students which is the reason for making the pray reading routines for the female students. Technically, the procession of carrying out the tradition of reading pray Al-Insyirah begins with fardhu prayers in congregation and continues with reading istighfar, tahlil, allahumma anta salam, Al-Fatihah, Al-Insyirah, verse chairs, prayers, and ends with reading Asmaul Husna. As for the meaning that has been felt by wirid practitioners, especially the caretakers of cottage and Student, when they routinely recite the pray surah Al-Insyirah from the results of previous interviews with him, namely, as a form of inner intermediary so that all their affairs are facilitated, the process of memorizing and learning is facilitated, forming an optimistic and patient person, and namely as a medicine for a narrow heart because of many problems and not knowing the way out.

At the beginning of this study aims to understand about the punishment of theft in the present time where society considers this punishment is very cruel due to amputation that can make the perpetrator disabled for life, some even refuse and oppose when the punishment is to be implemented. The method used is the Comparative method, which is a method that compares the verses of the Qur'an with other verses, the verses of the Qur'an with the Hadith and the opinion of the commentator with other commentators. Muhammad Syahrur explained the theory of the limit, which is the position of the maximum limit, that is, the determination of punishment should not exceed the limit, but can be below it or remain at the maximum limit line. Wahbah Zuhaili said this punishment is a framework to educate and give lessons to the perpetrators and also to keep the community safe from something bad happening.

This article shows the call of Prophet Ibrahim to his people in cultivating the belief of monotheism through natural phenomena found in Surat al-An‘am verses 74-79. This letter talks about the efforts of Prophet Ibrâhîm in inculcating the monotheistic beliefs of his father and his people who worshiped idols and worshiped the stars, moon and sun. Where what was conveyed by Prophet Ibrahim that is contained in his mind is a strong belief and trust from the guidance of Allah swt. The verse also tells about Prophet Ibrahim, where at that time Prophet Ibrahim made the stars, moon and sun as a medium to tell his people that the stars, moon and sun are God's creation and not the god they believe in. Prophet Ibrahim lived in an environment of worshipers of the stars, moons and stars. He educated his people by adapting and adapting to the level of understanding and knowledge so that his people believed in piety to the god of the universe, Allah swt. Then he accompanied his people towards true I'tikad step by step. That is why Prophet Ibrahim when he saw the star appear, Prophet Ibrahim said "this is my god." When the star sank Prophet Ibrahim said "I do not like something that is lost." When seeing the stars sink, so say against the emergence of the sinking of the moon and the sun. Prophet Ibrahim used the method of debate and argumentation with his people which aimed to break their misguided beliefs and lead to sound beliefs by thinking using logic with clear evidence. All the words of Prophet Ibrahim in the above verse describe his thought process to teach his people to find the One True God Allah swt.

Al-Qur'an is a guide and source of human life. This holy book has provided a bright spot or explanation about the creation of the earth and everything in it for human needs. The creation of the earth as a space for human life to provide the needs where they live and to provide the survival of offspring. The Qur'an from time immemorial has emphasized that the entire universe was created for the benefit of all creatures. What is in nature, especially the earth, is an environment provided for all of God's creations that inhabit it, in this case especially human beings as the main creatures. This research is a library research, namely research conducted by examining library materials, especially verses of the Qur'an as primary data and books. The technique in this research is literature study, while the data collection is the primary approach. This research uses a normative approach, namely the library research approach, which is a form of research whose data is obtained from the library. At this stage the researcher looks for the theoretical basis of the research problem so that what is carried out is not a "trial and error" activity. The results of this study are realizing a prosperous country by choosing a just caliph, creating a faithful and pious society, encouraging economic development so that people's income is high, the loss of unemployment is guaranteed health, high exports and guaranteed health.

Abstract: Not a few Muslims who openly dare to interpret the Qur’an without following the terms and conditions that apply. This paper attempts to examine the limitations of the intellectual and moral qualifications of commentators in interpreting the Qur’an in the contemporary century. By using the descriptive-analytical method and the Qur’anic science approach and interpretation, it is concluded that; first, there are at least five requirements for the intellectual qualifications of the interpreter, namely; know Arabic and the rules of language, the science of rhetoric, and the science of ushul fiqh, know the basics of al-Qur’an science, know science and technology, know the traditions of the Prophet with all kinds of aspects; and know about man with all his character. Second, the ethical and moral qualification requirements for commentators include; have a straight faith, clean from lust, good intentions and right intentions, have good morals, practice the knowledge possessed, be careful in quoting an opinion, have a humble nature, have a noble soul, dare to call for the truth, look good, patient and calm, puts people who are more important than him, and has a mature provision.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas konsep pembaharuan pemikiran Islam menurut Nurcholish Madjid. Metode penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif melalui studi pustaka dalam penghimpunan data dan analisis data. Hasil dan pembahasan penelitian ini adalah terdapat tiga tipe pemikiran Islam di Indonesia, yaitu tradisional, modern, dan neo-modernis, ketiga kelompok ini dapat dicirikan setelah melalui sejarah peradaban yang panjang. Sebelum pengelompokan ini, Indonesia mengalami kemerosotan dan ketertinggalan dalam berbagai hal terutama pemikiran keislaman, hal ini terjadi karena fanatik mazhab, tradisi taklid dan jumud, pemahaman parsial, dan keterbelakangan pendidikan. Fenomena ini sekaligus menjadi latar belakang perombakan yang dilakukan Nurcholish Madjid. Ia menawarkan dan menyiapkan berbagai gagasan dan ide sebagai solusi dari kevakuman umat Islam, ide tersebut bertumpu pada tiga tema yaitu keislaman, kemodernan, dan keindonesiaan. Tiga hal ini akan membalut pemahaman tanpa pertentangan demi menuju peradaban yang lebih maju dan berkembang. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konsep dasar pembaharuan Nurcholish Madjid ialah anjuran atau ajakan kepada khalayak muslim untuk melihat makna yang luas dalam ajaran Islam. Ajaran Islam hadir sebagai petunjuk sepanjang zaman kehidupan manusia, dan tidak mungkin ada hal yang terlewat dan terlupakan dalam memandu manusia pada tujuan abadi. Dengan demikian dibutuhkan kajian yang meluas, menyeluruh untuk mencapai makna substansial sumber Islam pada setiap aspeknya.

At the end of December 2019, people were shocked by the coronavirus disease-19. People believe that the virus spread from Wuhan, China. This epidemic finally attracted international attention, so that on January 30 WHO declared it a public health emergency. All humans worry over this situation. However, there are efforts to overcome it, one of which is by changing the psychological (inner) of the human being. This paper aims to review the concept of change (taghyīr) QS. al-Ra'du verse 11 in tackling covid-19. With a descriptive method of analysis literature review related to the topic this study resulted: QS. al-Ra'du verse 11 talks about social change (qaum) which starts from the mental condition (anfus) of the community. Changes that come from the community, concerning their inner side, are a prerequisite of changes by Allah. The inner side includes the mindset, strong determination, intention and understanding, so that from those create self-awareness. In any case, building awareness is the most important thing for achieving success and social change, especially in tackling Covid-19. People who are aware have to pay attention to their food and apply 3 M (wearing masks, washing hands with soap and keeping a distance).

This research started from the study program of Al-Qur'an and Tafsir, namely a department that directs students to memorize the Qur'an in each semester by memorizing one juz for four consecutive semesters. However, many of these students did not finish their memorization when they met the tahfiz course. While in the Qur'an there is a verse that becomes a motivation in memorizing the Qur'an, the verse is contained in Surah Al-Hijr verse 9. The data collection procedure used observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the subject understood that Surah Al-Hijr verse 9 was a motivational verse in memorizing the Qur'an. Then the reason that makes the students do not complete their memorization, because they experience obstacles when memorizing the Qur'an such as not being able to read the Qur'an properly, the emergence of a feeling of laziness from within them can cause feelings of boredom, despair and loss of enthusiasm in memorizing the Qur'an, not being able to properly divide time between lectures and memorizing the Qur'an, and the last one is caused by environmental factors that are not appropriate for memorizing the Qur'an. The motivations possessed by students in memorizing the Qur'an are: wanting to make their parents happy and uplifting, in order to get glory in this world and the hereafter, seeking the pleasure of Allah Swt and the most important motivation is wanting to obey the rules of the IQT study program because it requires memorize the Qur'an.

Sleep is a very important activity for human life, sleep itself is a state in which the spirit is grasped by God and returned when he awakens, and has similarities with the death that is both held by God. In the Qur'an there are many verses about sleep that equate to death. This study discusses sleep as a small death perspective of the Qur'an using his analysis Fakhr al-Di@n al-Ra>zi@ in the book of Mafa>ti@h{ al-Ghayb. The author found that there are two verses that are in accordance with the research, namely in surat al-An'a>m verse 60 and az-Zumar verse 42. From the results of the study revealed that sleep is a condition in which a person's sense of taste is lost from the body so that the sense of birth does not perform activities. And sleep is also a state in which God grasps the spirit of a person who sleeps and is restored upon awakening. Sleep is a type with dead that distinguishes is if the person who sleeps his spirit is cut off imperfectly, while when in a dead position his spirit is cut off perfectly. According to other mufassir that sleep is a condition in which his spirit can meet with other spirits it is not separated from god's will. Related to all that is a super natural thing that must be believed. While the implication of the interpretation is a person who is in a state of sleep he is still burdened with abomination, and doing it is when he has awakened. And there is no obligation to compensate when someone is in a sleep condition doing damage.

At this time Indonesia still has problems in the education of children in the religious field. Because Indonesia has a multicultural nation so that there is a tug of war on the concept of education and forcing education policy holders must be able to accommodate educational concepts that are in accordance with the character of the nation. In addition to the influence of globalization and digitalization also has an impact on the character of children's education. To answer this problem, researchers try to conduct research using thematic interpretation methods. The results of this study concluded that Surah Luqman offers an educational concept for a child. The concept of education offered by the surah is the role of the family, especially a father must be involved in the education of children with the method of mauidhah or advice. In addition, surah Luqman also offers the main themes in educating children, namely teaching about tawhid, prayer, patient gratitude, filial piety to parents and good ethics in society.
