Abstract

Many adolescent girls begin their periods uninformed and unprepared; moms are the primary supply of facts, however, they tell girls, too-little and too past due and regularly speak their misconceptions and due to the fact menstruation is widely visible as polluting and shameful, girls are often excluded and shamed in their houses and their groups. Many no longer have the manner for self-care and no longer get the help they need when they face issues, which averts their potential to hold on with regular activities and can also set up a basis for lifestyles-long dis empowerment. Efforts to respond to girls’ needs have been fragmented and piecemeal. There is a growing acknowledgment that efforts are much more likely to be successful if they come together in an entire-of-community technique that includes schools, fitness centers, and houses and communities; educate girls about menstruation, Create norms that see menstruation as healthful and nice, no longer shameful and dirty, enhance get admission to sanitary products, strolling water, and functional bathrooms and privateness for self-care, enhance care for and aid with the aid of ladies’ families after they have their periods, enhance access to in a position and caring medical experts once they experience menstrual health troubles

Abstract

In today's digital era, the use of MikroTik routers is increasingly common in companies, including PT Time Excelindo. However, attacks on MikroTik router logins are a frequent problem, and the company has a need to have a cheap and simple security system. This thesis aims to implement login security techniques using Port-Knocking and brute force firewalls on MikroTik routers at PT Time Excelindo, with the aim of providing solutions that are affordable and easy to implement. This study focuses on identifying the problems faced by PT Time Excelindo, namely repeated attacks against MikroTik router logins. The proposed solution involves implementing a Port- Knocking technique which will hide the login port on the router, so that only legitimate access will be allowed after a series of specific requests are made to certain ports. In addition, the firewall will also be activated to block brute force attacks by limiting the number of failed login attempts

Abstract

Cutting Stock Problem (CSP) is a classic problem involving cutting long stocks into smaller products with certain quantities. The optimization is to find cutting patterns with minimum waste. In construction industries, CSP applies to steel bar cutting. The steel bar is an important element in making reinforced concrete. The length of the steel bars from the steel manufacturers is fixed, while the requirements for the constructions are varying. The problem is to find optimized way to cut long, fixed-length steel bars into smaller, varying length bars required in the constructions. The requirements are different from building to building, both in the lengths and quantities. Many studies have been extensively done on the subject, from Brute Force, Greedy Search to Linear Programming. In this paper the study focuses on Genetic Algorithm approach. The results look promising for Fitness Function 1 where the focus is to minimize waste. Waste ranges from 2.03% to 4.31%. Fitness function 2 and 3 do not emphasize merely on minimizing the waste, but also on contiguity. Therefore the residues are more, ranges from 2.21% to 4.91% for Fitness Function 2 and from 2.03% to 30.7% for Fitness Function 3

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of corporate social responsibility, intellectual capital, and firm size on corporate financial performance. Which is measured by return on Assets (ROA). This research is a form of quantitative research. Secondary data gathered from www.idx.co.id and the company's website is used. This study's population consists of manufacturing businesses registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2021. While the sample of this study was determined using purposive sampling, so that a total of 183 data points could be processed. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25. According to the findings of this study, corporate social responsibility has no influence on the financial performance of a business. This indicates that the high and low disclosure of corporate social responsibility has no influence on the corporate financial performance. While intellectual capital and firm size have an impact on the corporate financial performance

Abstract

The conventional learning system is still being implemented at SMK Paramarta, which includes direct contact between teachers and students. However, with the advancement of technology, there is a need for an e-learning system that can facilitate the teaching and learning process and provide more varied learning activities for students. Therefore, this research aims to design and develop a web-based e-learning application system at SMK Paramarta. As a result, when a teacher is unable to attend, the teaching and learning process will be disrupted because there is no other media to deliver learning materials from the teacher to the students. The design of the Web-based E-learning Application System is built using HTML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and CSS to beautify the e-learning pages that will be created. The web-based e-learning application system designed in this research can be an alternative modern and varied learning activity for students at SMK Paramarta. Additionally, this system can also assist teachers in providing learning materials and testing student understanding in a more effective and efficient manner. Therefore, it is hoped that the use of this system can improve the quality of education at SMK Paramarta. To ensure that the application runs smoothly, two testing phases are conducted: white-box testing and black-box testing on the data transfer process that runs within the e-learning application

Abstract

This study examined the influence of climate variability on poultry production in Nigeria from 1990-2020. State the broad objective only. This study adopted the quasi-experimental research design. Secondary data were used in the study. The method employed for analyzing the time series data was the Auto Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. Pre-estimation diagnostics tests were employed to check for stationarity of the data. From the results of the Error Correction Models (ECM’s), average rainfall and Carbon dioxide emission have significant influence on poultry (egg and meat) production in Nigeria. A unit increase in average rainfall brought about -0.4% reduction in egg production, while a unit increase in carbon dioxide emission brought about a -0.27% reduction in egg production. Average rainfall had positive influence on broiler production a unit increase in rainfall increased broiler production by 0.41% and 0.52% at the current and two period lag, while carbon dioxide emission reduced broiler production by -0.16%. The study concluded that climate change do affect poultry production both negatively and positively and recommended that climate smart agricultural practices such as proper ventilation and vaccination should be applied in poultry production to mitigate the negative effects of climate change

Abstract

There are still many unidentified negative comments on social media that have a negative impact on others' mental and physical well-being. Therefore, sentiment analysis is needed to filter and identify such types of comments, especially on social media. This research aims to analyze and classify unidentified negative comments spread across social media. Sentiment analysis and comment classification are performed using 7773 comments in the Indonesian language. The comments are then visualized using an embedding projector, which gives satisfactory results in classifying words in the comments, where words with negative or positive sentiments are clustered closely together. The model employed in this study is the Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) model, which achieved an accuracy rate of 77.70% and a validation accuracy of 85.20%. The trained model is then used for testing purposes, employing directly collected comments from social media, which give satisfactory results

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of self-efficacy, compatibility, and TAM on the acceptance of SIKOLA among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Hasanuddin University. Primary data obtained through a questionnaire with 363 respondents were analyzed with structured equation modeling analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics AMOS 23 software. Results showed that compatibility and ease of use significantly influenced usefulness. Self-efficacy did not affect usefulness, while self-efficacy and compatibility significantly influenced ease of use. Usefulness had a significant effect on actual usage, while ease of use did not impact actual usage. This research highlights that self-efficacy and compatibility are external factors suitable for examining the level of acceptance of the learning management system among users
