Abstract

Anemia in adolescent girls is still quite high. This is due to the blood loss caused by menstruation in adolescent girls every month and often consume fast food that has become a trend among adolescents is usually low of iron that will impact on decreased reproductive health, intelligence, learning concentration and growth process. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between nutrient intake and duration of menstruation with the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls SMPN 4 Banjarbaru. The type of study is observational analytic with cross sectional design. The population are all students of class VII and VIII in SMPN 4 Banjarbaru in 2017. Samples are some of the population is 77 people determined by purposive sampling technique. Method of data collection using questionnaire and Food Recall 2 x 24 Hours. Analysis of data using statistical test of Rank Spearman Correlation Test with 90% confidence level. The result of this study that 64,9% energy intake of adolescent girls were classified as less, 80,5% protein intake were classified less, 97,4% of iron intake were classified less, 75,3% duration of menstruation on adolescent girls was normal and 54,5% classified as anemia. The results of statistical tests showed there is no correlation between energy and iron intake with the incidence of anemia on adolescent girls and there is a correlation between protein intake and duration of menstruation with incidence of anemia on adolescent girls. Suggestions for this study that staff of local health officials conduct the nutritional counseling about anemia in adolescent or activities of health promotion related to anemia so as to reduce the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Anemia merupakan salah satu kondisi dimana kurangnya kadar hemoglobin dalam darah. Salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya anemia adalah asupan zat besi yang kurang. Terkait dengan masalah anemia pada remaja putri, maka dibuat produk stik dari kelakai dan ikan gabus untuk dijadikan produk pangan alternatif tinggi zat besi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji apakah ada pengaruh formulasi stik dari kelakai dan ikan gabus sebagai produk alternatif tinggi zat besi. Metode: Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain penelitian true experimental dengan pemberian perlakuan pada kelakai dan ikan gabus sebanyak 3 perlakuan yaitu P1 = 60% : 40%, P2 = 50% : 50%, P3 = 40% : 60%, dan P0 = 0% : 50% sebagai kontrol. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan bahwa formulasi kelakai dan ikan gabus memiliki pengaruh yang nyata terhadap mutu kimia yang meliputi kadar air (P=0,001), abu (P=0,003), karbohidrat (P=0,001), lemak (P=0,000), prorein (P=0,000), Fe (P=0,060) dan organoleptik pada stik meliputi rasa (P=0,000), aroma (P=0,402), tekstur (P=0,030), dan rasa (P=0,027). Kesimpulan: Stik dengan mutu organoleptik terbaik ada pada perlakuan P3 dan stik dengan mutu kimia terbaik ada pada perlakuan P2 dengan rata-rata kadar sebesar Fe 70,19 mg/kg.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Status gizi yaitu kondisi tubuh seseorang yang dapat dilihat dari makanan yang dikonsumsi serta faktor penentu lainnya seperti aktifitas fisik, mahasiswa gizi banyak mengalami perubahan perilaku dari masa remaja ke masa dewasa awal, salah satunya sikap terhadap makanan yang masih kurang seperti jumlah kalori sehari-hari kurang mecukupi kebutuhan gizi. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan aktifitas fisik, asupan lemak dan asupan karbohidrat terhadap status gizi mahasiswa gizi Poltekkes Banjarmasin. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Observasional Analitik. Desain penelitian ini yaitu dengan besar sampel 119 mahasiswa yang diperoleh dengan teknik Purposiv Sampling. Data aktifitas fisik diambil dengan kuisioner GPAQ, kuisioner untuk data karakteristik, Recall 2x24h untuk asupan lemak dan karbohidrat, dan status gizi dipeoleh dai perhitungan IMT. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman dengan tingkat kepercayaan sebesar 95% atau α = 0,05. Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi (r=-0,214), tidak ada hubungan antara asupan lemak dengan status gizi (r=0,042), tidak ada hubungan antara asupan karbohidrat dengan status gizi (r=0,056). Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan antara aktifitas fisik, asupan lemak dan asupan karbohidrat dengan status gizi mahasiswa gizi Poltekkes Banjarmasin. Perlunya ketelitian pengukuran dan perhitungan asupan serta menggunakan faktor-faktor lain dalam mempengaruhi status gizi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Background : The Physiological fulfillment of adolescents requires the fulfillment of adequate nutrition, including fruits and vegetables. However, their current diet has changed. They tend to choose fast food such as junk food which contains added sugar and fat in excessive amounts rather than consuming vegetables, fruit and milk. According to result of basic health research (Riskesdas) in 2018, the proportion of fruit / vegetable consumption per day in a week for people aged 5 years and over, according to the Regency / City of South Kalimantan Province, Banjarbaru City has a level of non-consumption reaching 11,79%, 1-2 portions a week reaching 78,96%, 3-4 servings a week reaches 8,64%, and more than 5 servings a week reaches 0,61%. Objectives : The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between attitudes and junk food on the level of vegetable and fruit consumption among students majoring in nutrition at the Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Banjarmasin. Methods : This type of research is an analytical observational study with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were 294 students majoring in nutrition at the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health, Banjarmasin. Sampling used 83 people with simple random sampling technique. This research was conducted using an online questionnaire with WhatsApp and Google Form. Data analysis using the Spearman Rank correlation test α = 0,05. Results : The results showed that the results of the correlation test using the Rank Spearman correlation test found that there was no significant relationship between attitudes and consumption of vegetables and fruits and there is a significant relationship between consumption of junk food and consumption of vegetables and fruit. Conclusions : Students who have low levels of vegetable and fruit consumption are expected to be able to apply the nutritional knowledge that has been learned in their daily life. In addition, they can raise awareness about the importance of eating vegetables and fruit.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Berdasarkan laporan bulanan tahun 2020, presentase ibu hamil anemia di Puskesmas Pasar Sabtu sebesar 63.2%. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepatuhan mengkonsumsi tablet tambah darah, kebiasaan konsumsi teh dan pola konsumsi dengan kejadian anemia ibu hamil di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pasar Sabtu Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara. Metode: Jenis penelitian adalah observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pasar Sabtu dengan populasi sebanyak 58 ibu hamil, dengan teknik purposive sampling didaptkan 37 sampel. Data primer diambil dengan cara wawancara langsung, survey online dan panggilan WhatsApp. Data sekunder diambil dengan melihat catatan/data Puskesmas Pasar Sabtu dan buku KIA Ibu hamil. Analisis data menggunakan uji Rank Spearman. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ibu hamil 86,5% berada pada usia yang tidak berisiko mengalami anemia, 43,2% berada pada usia kehamilan trimester 3, sebanyak 62,2% patuh mengkonsumsi TTD, 73,0% jarang mengkonsumsi teh dan 59,5% mempunyai pola konsumsi baik serta 51,4% tidak mengalami anemia. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui ada hubungan antara kepatuhan mengkonsumsi tablet tambah darah dan kebiasaan konsumsi teh dengan kejadian anemia ibu hamil, tidak ada hubungan antara pola konsumsi dengan kejadian anemia ibu hamil di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pasar Sabtu. Background: Based on the 2020 monthly report, percentage of pregnant women was 63.2%. Objective: This research was conducted to determine the correlation between adherence to consuming blood-added tablets, tea consumption habits and consumption patterns with the anemia incidence in pregnant women in the working area of Pasar Sabtu Public Health Centre, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. Methods: This research is analytic observational with Cross sectional design that was conducted in the working area of Pasar Sabtu Public Health Center. The population is 57 of pregnant women with 37 samples were taken by purposive sampling. Primary datas are taking by interviewing, online survey, and WhatsApp calling. Secondary datas are taking by reviewing data in Puskesmas and KIA book. Data analysis with Rank Spearman Test. Result: The result is 86.5% pregnant women in ‘not at risk’ age have anemia, 43.2% in a third trimester, 62.2% are obedient to consume blood added tablets, 73.0% are not often consuming tea, 59.5% pregnant women have a good consume patterns and 51.4% are not anemia. Conclusion: There is correlation between adherence to consuming blood-added tablets and tea consumption habits with incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the working area of the Pasar Sabtu Public Health Center.
