Abstract

The largest public space in Cirebon City, Indonesia, is Bima Sports Center, with conditions that could be more conducive, resulting in the conversion of sidewalks that are not suitable for their function into areas for street vendors and illegal parking, which hurts the interests of pedestrians. This study aims to provide design recommendations (prototype) based on PU regulation no. 02/SE/M/2018 about pedestrian facility standards. The methods used in this research are the Pedestrian Level of Service (PLOS) approach in evaluating the performance of pedestrian facilities, the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) approach in assessing pedestrian satisfaction, and providing design recommendations based on the results of the CSI analysis. The research results show that the PLOS value in existing conditions varies from A - to F, and the main variables that determine pedestrian satisfaction are cleanliness, safety, and lighting facilities. Based on the analysis of the results, the design recommendation is to adjust the geometry according to standards and emphasize the Provision of cleaning facilities (bins), lighting, and safety fences along pedestrian paths.

Abstract

Today, the world faces crucial challenges such as the energy crisis, air pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions. The transportation sector is considered a major contributor to these problems, which is driving climate change in various cities. To achieve the goal of zero emissions, electric vehicles are positioned as the transportation solution of the future and need to be widely adopted around the world. This researche focuses on analyzing the factors that affect the intention to adopt electric vehicles, with variables such as Incentive, Charging Infrastructure, Technology Readiness, Perceived Behavior Control, and intention to adopt. The goal is to understand how these factors contribute to shaping people's decisions to use electric vehicles. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of at least 150 respondents. Data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire, and data analysis was carried out using the structural equation modeling (SEM) method with Smart-PLS (Partial Least Squares Structural Equations Modeling) software version 3.0 Testing of validity, reliability, and goodness of fit was carried out to ensure the quality of the model.

Abstract

This study examines job satisfaction among Generation Y employees at Swiss-Belresort Pecatu, motivated by concerns about high turnover rates and varying levels of engagement within this demographic. The research aims to identify the factors influencing job satisfaction and analyze how demographic variables affect satisfaction levels. A quantitative research method was employed, utilizing a survey distributed to Generation Y employees at the resort. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis to explore relationships between satisfaction levels and influencing factors such as work environment, company policies, career development opportunities, and work-life balance. The results indicate that while the overall job satisfaction of Generation Y employees is moderate, key factors such as career growth opportunities and work-life balance significantly impact their satisfaction. Differences in satisfaction levels were also found based on demographic variables, including age, gender, education, and length of service. The study concludes that Swiss-Belresort Pecatu should adopt tailored strategies to address the specific needs of Generation Y employees, focusing on career development, improved work-life balance, and a supportive work environment. These findings provide valuable insights for the management to enhance employee satisfaction and retention, ensuring a motivated and productive workforce in a competitive hospitality industry.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and the Human Development Index (HDI) in North Maluku Province. The research aims to analyze the influence of HDI, Government Expenditure, Investment, and Labor Force on Economic Growth and the impact of life expectancy, school life expectancy, and per capita expenditure on HDI. The study employs the Two Stage Least Square analysis method using panel data processed through the Eviews application. The results indicate that the HDI, Government Expenditure, and Investment variables significantly affect GRDP, while the Labor Force variable is optional. Meanwhile, the GRDP variable does not substantially affect HDI, but the Life Expectancy, School Life Expectancy, and Per Capita Expenditurea variables significantly impact HDI. The conclusion suggests that economic growth does not necessarily guarantee an improvement in the quality of human resources in North Maluku. The study recommends including additional variables related to GRDP and HDI to better understand their impact in each region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among Adelle Jewellery employees in North Jakarta. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, involving 100 employees as the sample. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires measured using a Likert scale. The collected data was then analyzed using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results show that work motivation and work environment have a significant impact on employee performance. Additionally, job satisfaction was found to partially mediate the effect of work motivation and work environment on employee performance. This means that enhancing work motivation and creating a conducive work environment can increase job satisfaction, which in turn, improves employee performance. This research provides important insights for Adelle Jewellery's management in understanding the factors that influence employee performance. The practical implications of these findings highlight the importance of management focusing on improving work motivation and creating a supportive work environment to enhance employee satisfaction and performance. The study also suggests the need for further research to explore other factors that may influence employee performance and to test similar models in different industries and contexts.
