Abstract

The Electronic Information and Transaction Law (UU ITE) is a problem for several groups, namely activists, pro-democracy groups, academics and students. The ITE Law specifically regulates digital law in Indonesia. This research will answer how civil society groups have demanded a revision of the ITE Law since 2016. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In addition, this research is based on data collected from various mass media, scientific research journals, v-dem datasets and reports from Non-Government Organizations such as SAFEnet. The results of this study conclude that the ITE Law does not resolve conflicts that occur in the online domain, but adds to existing conflicts, as evidenced by the existence of virtual politics and digital repression. The civil society movement demanding the revision of the ITE Law has had a positive impact on democracy. Meanwhile, the government that passed the ITE Law showed a trend of stagnation and a decline in democracy because it showed poor rule of law.

Abstract

The Community-Based Integrated Child Protection Movement is one of the programs owned by the Serang Regency DKBPPPA regarding efforts to prevent children from acts of violence. The PATBM movement is a movement created by the Indonesian Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection which is run by communities in the form of groups living at the village or sub-district level. The problems found in this research were cases of child violence in Serang Regency which were high in the last three years (2020-2022), the PATBM movement which only existed in 68 villages out of a total of 326 villages in Serang Regency, the absence of direct socialization from the Regency DKBPPPA Serang is related to the introduction of the PATBM Movement in the community, the lack of commitment from stakeholders regarding the PATBM Movement in Serang Regency, the implementation of the PATBM Movement and the budget which is carried out simultaneously with other programs. The theory used is Strategic Management theory in the Strategy Implementation dimension according to Wheelen and Hunger (2014:11) which has three indicators, namely program, budget and procedures using descriptive qualitative research methods. From this research it is known that the strategy carried out by the Serang Regency DKBPPPA in developing the PATBM Movement is quite good by collaborating with government and non-government institutions. The form of activities carried out is by forming, coaching, evaluating, and monitoring. Meanwhile, activities in the community are handed over to each village that has been formed. Then, regarding the uncertain and limited budget. This makes the Serang Regency DKBPPPA direct the use of village funds for implementing PATBM activities in the community. And for DKBPPPA procedures, Serang Regency follows guidelines from the center and does not have special procedures.

Abstract

The emergence of the pseudo-state Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) or better known as Rojava in 2014 became an alarm for the emergence of a new form of political entity that transcends the form of the Westphalian nation- state. The democratic confederalism system is seen as very close to the thought of anarchism which rejects all forms of hierarchy including the nation-state system and upholds equality between human beings. YPJ is a women's armed forces unit in Rojava that adheres to the idea of Jineology –an idea of gender equality from Abdullah Ocalan which is also integrated into the democratic confederacies system. The magnitude of the role of YPJ in the process of Rojava's resistance to the nation-state and capitalism made the writer interested in analyzing YPJ resistance using the Anarcha-Feminism theory to determine the effect of the theory on YPJ resistance. Anarcha-Feminism was chosen because it can be a synthesis between class struggle, women's liberation, and the deconstruction of the nation-state political system. This research will also review and describe the role of women in post-conflict development in Rojava, particularly regarding their involvement in the economy, education, social, military, and public decision-making through the perspective of the Sustainable Development Goals.
