Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media kit praktikum dalam laboratorium skala kecil dengan strategi POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquiry). Media kit praktikum yang dimaksudkan dalam penelitian ini ialah kotak yang berisi seperangkat alat dan bahan untuk percobaan titrasi asam basa dilengkapi dengan LKS (Lembar Kerja Siswa) dan buku panduan. Ukuran kelayakan media kit praktikum didasarkan pada kevalidan media, kepraktisan media, dan keefektifan media. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan model pengembangan Borg & Gall dan dibatasi hingga tahap main field testing yaitu uji coba terbatas. Sasaran penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas XI-MIA 4 SMAN 1 Pacet Mojokerto. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi oleh ahli media, angket respon serta lembar pre test dan post test yang telah diisi oleh 12 siswa SMAN 1 Pacet Mojokerto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari segi kevalidan media diperoleh persentase dalam rentang 80%-100% dalam kategori valid dan sangat valid. Ditinjau dari segi kepraktisan sejumlah 100% siswa memberikan respon positif dan menyatakan media kit praktikum dalam kategori sangat praktis. Dari segi keefektifan siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam keterampilan proses 0,61-0,94 dalam kategori sedang dan tinggi berdasarkan skor gain. Berdasarkan perolehan persentase ketiga unsur kelayakan, media kit praktikum dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Kit Praktikum, POGIL , Keterampilan Proses Sains, Larutan Asam dan Basa This study aims to determine feasibility of using small lab kit with POGIL strategy. Kit in this research is a box which contain all equipments and materials to support in acid base titration experiment equipped with worksheet and guidebook.The criteria of media feasibility based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study was designed with the model of development research by Borg&Gall and limited to main field testing phase. The objects of this study is 12 students of XI-MIA 4 SMAN 1 Pacet Mojokerto. The data source showed from validity sheet by media expert, questionnaire response, and pre test-post test sheet by students.The results showed that in terms of validity obtained by percentage in range 80%-100% with feasible-very feasible category . From practicality terms obtained 100% positive responses from students, students declarated that small lab kit easy to use and assemble. From effectively terms students has increased in range 0,61-0,94 with medium and high category based on N-gain score. Based on percentage of three terms feasibility small lab kit declarated feasible as learning media in acid base solution. Keywords: Kit , POGIL, Science Process Skill, Acid Base Solution.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of The Development of Students’ Activity Sheet with Guided Inquiry Orientation to Train Critical Thinking Skill of Inclusive Students in Sub Materials Factors That Affecting the Reaction Rate. The validity of the developed Students’ Activity Sheet is based on internal validity and external validity. Internal validity is reviewed from the validation result. External validity is reviewed from student responses after using Guided Inquiry-based Activity sheet to Train the Critical Thinking Skills of Inclusive Students on Sub Material Factors that Affecting Reaction Rate that developed. This research uses R & D method, but only applied until development stage. Judging from the validation result, student workesheet based on content criteria of 85.07%, 80.83% on presentation content and 83.33% on the language content. Judging from the results of student responses, the feasibility of Students’ Activity Sheet based on content criteria is 100%, 100% of presentation and language of 97.21%. Judging from the pretest and posttest results obtained classical completeness of 87.5% calculated from completeness of classical pretest of 12.5% ​​ and classical posttest of 100%. Abstract

This aim of research is develop science process skills studentts activity sheet advisability for training science process skills student with hearing impairment. The method of this study used a Research and Development (R & D) with 6 deaf students’s subject of SMALB Karya Mulya Surabaya. The research’s instrument that used are review sheet, validation sheet, observation of science process skills activities sheet, examination sheet, and questionnaire sheet of student responses. Technique of data collection consist of study, validation, observation, and test then analysed by descriptive. LKS is considered feasible, if get percentage of ≥61% with good or very good criterion. The results showed that the student worksheet oriented science process skills on material developed element has been theoretical and empirical feasibility for use as a learning media. The theoretic advisability is validation results consist of content, language, presentation, and graphic criteria with percentage range are 66,67% - 100%; 66,67% - 75%; dan 66,67% - 75%. So it can said that the students activity sheet paper with good and very good criteria. While the empirical feasibility that are observation of science process skills activity gets a percentage interval between 83.33% - 100% feasible with very good, a final test all got a score of 83.33, and a student questionnaire responses received percentage interval between 66.67% - 100% feasible with good and ver good criteria. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan kemampuan metakognitif siswa terhadap model pembelajaran problem solving pada materi asam basa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Pre-Experimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas XI IPA di SMA Nahdlatul Ulama 1 Gresik. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode pengamatan, tes, dan angket. Penelitian menunjukkan hasil sebagai berikut: (1) Keterlaksanaan sintaks model pembelajaran problem solving untuk melatihkan keterampilan metakognitif siswa pada materi asam basa di SMA Nahdlatul Ulama 1 Gresik pada pada setiap pertemuan 78,13%; 84,38%; dan 84,38% dengan kategori sangat baik. (2) Keterampilan metakognitif siswa menjadi terlatih dari hasil pretest yang semula 27,31 pada planning skills; 38,19 pada moitoring skills; dan 22,11 pada evaluating skills menjadi 80,21 pada planning skills; 86,46 pada monitoring skills; dan 79,82 pada evaluating skills berdasarkan nilai posttest. Hal tersebut didukung dengan hasil angket inventori metakognitif sebesar 81,05 pada planning skills; 86,81 pada monitoring skills; dan 82,42 pada evaluating skills. Abstract

This study was aimed to know the feasibility of student worksheet with inductive strategy oriented on acid base material to train student critical thinking skill. The feasibility was viewed acoording to theoretical and empirical feasibility. The empirical feasibility based on student response after using student worksheet with inductive strategy oriented on acid-base material developed. Theoretical feasibility is reviewed from the validation results. This research uses 4-D method, but only done until development stage (develop). Validation results shows percentage of content criteria is 83.33%, presenting criteria is 77.49% and 83.33% for language criteria. The results of student responses, the feasibility of student worksheet based on content criteria is 92.85%, 85% for presenting criteria and 97.5% for language criteria. Based on student responses and validation results can be conclude that student worksheet was very appropriate. Keywords: students’ worksheet, inductive strategy, critical thinking skill, acid base.

Abstract

Practical activities are a part that cannot be separated from chemistry learning. To maintain the performance of chemistry learning through practical, micro-scale kit media was developed to help the practical implementation in the classroom. Therefore, this research aims is to develop a kit which is valid, practice, and effective. This type of research used development refers to methods of Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall. Kit that have been reviewed and validated then tested on 12 students of eleventh grade senior high school. The results showed that the Kit feasibility based on validity content and construct with an average percentage 89.63% include very appropriate category. Kit feasibility based on practicality aspects in terms of student responses obtained percentage between 91.67%-100% include very practical category. Kit feasibility based on aspects of effectiveness obtained from the posttest students science process skills with improving N-gain indicated that 91.67% of students completed with gain score 75% of students included in high category and 25% of students include in enough category. It can be concluded that the micro-scale Kit media based on 5E Instructional Model to practice student’s science process skills feasible based on the aspect of validity, practicality, and effectiveness Key Word: Kit Media, 5E Instructional Model, Science Process Skill

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul berorientasi contextual teaching and learning untuk meningkatkan self-efficay siswa yang valid berdasarkan validitas ahli, praktis berdasarkan aktivitas siswa, dan efektif berdasarkan hasil belajar, peningkatan self-efficacy, dan respon siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran 4-D. Metode yang digunakan diantaranya metode validasi, metode observasi, metode angket, dan metode tes. Modul dikatakan layak jika memenuhi aspek valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kevalidan dilihat dari hasil validasi dengan menggunakan lembar validasi. Persentase hasil validasi secara keseluruhan sebesar 88,06% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Kepraktisan modul dilihat dari aktivitas self-efficacy siswa dan respon siswa. Aktivitas self-efficacy siswa diperoleh dari lembar aktivitas siswa yang menunjukkan persentase sebesar 62,78% dengan kriteria tinggi. Respon siswa diperoleh dari lembar angket respon siswa yang menunjukkan persentase sebesar 96,00% dengan kategori sangat baik. Keefektifan diperoleh dari data uji coba terhadap 15 siswa di SMAN 1 Mojosari peminatan MIA. Data diperoleh dari peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan soal pretest dan posttest dan peningkatan self-efficacy dengan menggunakan lembar angket self-efficacy. Sebanyak 33% siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori sedang dan 67% peningkatan dengan kategori tinggi. Peningkatan self-efficacy siswa sebesar 40% dengan kategori rendah dan 60% dengan kategori sedang. Kata Kunci: modul, contextual teaching and learning, asam basa, self-efficacy

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS yang melatihkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah yang layak ditinjau dari kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian R&D (Research & Development) yang dibatasi hingga uji coba produk secara terbatas. LKS yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh dua dosen dan satu guru kimia. Intrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, lembar observasi kegiatan siswa, dan lembar angket respon siswa. LKS diharapkan dapat melatihkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi larutan penyangga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS layak ditinjau dari kevalidan yang mencapai 84,06% (sangat layak) dan kepraktisan yang mencapai 87,88% (sangat layak). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa berbasis problem solving untuk melatihkan Keterampilan Proses Sains pada materi asam basa. LKS berbasis problem solving merupakan LKS yang disusun didasarkan pada tahapan model pembelajaran problem solving. Keterampilan Proses Sains yang dilatihkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengamati, mengidentifikasi masalah, merumuskan masalah, merumuskan hipotesis, mengontrol variabel, merancang percobaan, mengumpulkan data, menganalisis data, dan merumuskan kesimpulan. Validitas LKS meliputi validitas isi dan validitas konstruk. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Namun, penelitian ini dibatasi sampai tahap develop. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian pengembangan ini adalah lembar telaah dan lembar validasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Validitas isi meliputi kriteria isi, dan bahasa memperoleh persentase 85,42% dan 80,55% dalam kategori sangat valid. Validitas konstruk meliputi kriteria kegrafisan, dan penyajian memperoleh persentase 81,66%, dan 93,75% dalam kategori sangat valid. Kata kunci: Validitas, LKS, problem solving, keterampilan proses sains,asam basa. The purpose of this study is to develop students’ activity sheet based on problem solving to practise the Science Process Skills to acid-base material. LKS based problem solving. LKS which is arranged based on learning model problem solving step. Science Process Skills are trained in this research that observes, identifies problems, formulates problems, formulates hypotheses, controls variables, designs experiments, collects data, analyzes data, and formulates conclusions. LKS validity includes content validity and construct validity. This research is a development research using 4D development model that is define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, this study is limited to the develop stage. The research instrument used in this development research is a review sheet and validation sheet. The results of this study show that Content validity includes content criteria, and the language obtains 85.42% and 80.55% percentage in very valid categories. The validity of the construct includes the criteria for the gradability, and the presentation obtains the percentage of 81.66%, and 93.75% in the category is very valid. Abstract

Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan validitas teoritis instrumen penilaian kinerja yaitu kelayakan instrumen penilaian kinerja peserta didik pada materi reaksi eksoterm dan endoterm yang ditinjau dari validitas isi/materi, konstruksi, dan kebahasaan. Tujuan lainnya yaitu menentukan validitas empiris instrumen penilaian kinerja yaitu respon guru dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada metode R&D (Research & Development) menurut Sugiyono yang dimulai dari potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, revisi produk, produksi massal. Penelitian ini dibatasi sampai tahap uji coba produk yang dilaksanakan secara terbatas di SMA Negeri I Krembung, Sidoarjo. Hasil validasi oleh dosen dan guru kimia memperoleh persentase kelayakan kriteria isi/materi dalam rentang 84,44-86,67% dengan kriteria kelayakan sangat baik; kelayakan kriteria konstruksi memperoleh persentase dalam rentang 85,55-88,33% dengan kriteria kelayakan sangat baik; dan kelayakan kriteria kebahasaan memperoleh persentase dalam rentang 85,00-86,67% dengan kriteria kelayakan sangat baik. Respon guru memperoleh persentase sebesar 87,50% dengan kriteria sangat baik; dan respon peserta didik memperoleh persentase sebesar 89,29% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan instrumen penilaian kinerja yang dikembangkan memperoleh hasil layak. Kata Kunci: penilaian kinerja, keterampilan prose sains, reaksi eksoterm dan endoterm
