Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Multimedia Interaktif untuk melatihkan hands on dan minds on yang diujicobakan pada 9 siswa tunarungu kelas X di SMALB Karya Mulia Surabaya untuk mengetahui kelayakan ditinjau dari kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan metode Research and Development (R & D). Multimedia Interaktif (MMI) berisikan materi Kimia Rumah Tangga, video praktikum, animasi, dan bahasa Komunikasi Total (Komtal). Hasil validasi menunjukkan validitas isi dengan rentang persentase 80%-96% dan validitas konstruk dengan rentang persentase 73,3%-93,33%. Hasil observasi penggunaan media mendapat rentang persentase 80%-96% dan angket respon siswa dengan rentang persentase 78%-100% yang menunjukkan MMI praktis. Hasil Tes Hands On (Tes Keterampilan Teknik Eksperimen Dasar) melakukan beberapa kali kegiatan sampai sempurna, sedangkan Tes Minds On (Evaluasi Media) dengan rentang nilai 75-100 dengan kriteria tuntas yang menunjukkan MMI efektif. Kata Kunci: Multimedia Interaktif, Kimia Rumah Tangga, Hands On dan Minds On, SMALB Tunarungu. This research aims to develop the Interactive Multimedia to train hands on and minds on tested on 9 deaf students in grade X in SMALB Karya Mulia Surabaya to determine the feasibility in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This type of research is the development of research with the Research and Development (R & D). Multimedia Interactive (MMI) containing material Household Chemicals, lab video, animation, and language Total Communications (Komtal). Validation results demonstrate the content validity by percentage range of 80%-96% and construct validity percentage range of 73,3%-93.33%. The results of observations using the media gets a percentage range of 80% -96% and the questionnaire responses of students with a percentage range of 78% -100%, showing MMI is practical. Hands On Test results (Experimental Techniques Basic Skills Test) with doing several activities until perfect, while the Test Minds On (Evaluation of Media) with a range of 75-100 with a category value that indicates MMI completely effective. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan secara teoretis dan empiris dari software instrumen Learning Styles Questionnaire (LSQ) Honey & Mumford yang dikembangkan untuk persiapan pembelajaran kimia SMA beserta kecenderungan gaya belajar peserta didik secara klasikal. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan metode R&D (Research and Development). Sumber data penelitian adalah 20 peserta didik kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Wonoayu Sidoarjo dan 20 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan teoretis berdasarkan hasil validasi ditinjau dari isi 83,34%, bahasa 89%, dan penyajian 84,85% dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 85,73% pada kategori sangat layak. Kelayakan empiris ditinjau berdasarkan respon peserta didik meliputi respon kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Wonoayu Sidoarjo 96,25% dan kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Sidoarjo 91,88% dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 94,06% pada kategori sangat layak, dan sebanyak 95% peserta didik memberi respon setuju bahwa software LSQ kimia dapat mempersiapkan peserta didik dalam belajar kimia di SMA. Kecenderungan gaya belajar secara klasikal adalah reflector dengan persentase sebanyak 65% di SMA Negeri 1 Wonoayu Sidoarjo dan 60% di SMA Negeri 4 Sidoarjo, dan ketepatan hasil kecenderungan gaya belajar ini didukung dengan hasil belajar yang meningkat. Kata Kunci: Learning Styles Questionnaire Honey & Mumford, pembelajaran kimia, software, gaya belajar This study has purpose to describe the theoretical and empirical feasibility of Learning Styles Questionnaire (LSQ) software that has been developed for preparation of chemistry learning in high school and also whether learning style preferences of students dominantly. This study uses R&D (Research and Development) method and the subject of this study is 20 students of X grade SMAN 1 Wonoayu Sidoarjo and 20 students of XI grade SMAN 4 Sidoarjo. The results of this study showed that theoretical feasibility based on validation result of content quality is 83,34%, linguistic quality is 89%, and presentation quality is 84,85%, with the average percentage is 85,73% in very good criteria. The empirical feasibility based on students’ responses of X grade SMAN 1 Wonoayu Sidaorjo is 96,25% and XI grade of SMAN 4 Sidoarjo is 91,88% with the average percentage is 94,06% in very good criteria. 95% students agree that the software could prepare the students in chemistry learning. The dominant learning style preference in both school is reflector with percentage 65% for SMAN 1 Wonoayu and 60% for SMAN 4 Sidoarjo, and this result is supported by achievement that increased. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian pengembangan media ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari media permainan Nekeran Chem yang dikembangkan sebagai suatu media pembelajaran pada materi koloid kelas XI SMA. Peneliitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya yang di ujicobakan kepada 12 siswa kelas XI MIA-6. Kriteria kelayakan dari media permainan Nekeran Chem ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Kevalidan media permaianan Nekeran Chem didapatkan dari penilaian dari 3 validator yaitu 3 dosen kimia, kepraktisan ditinjau dari lembar respon siswa yang di dukung dengan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, keefektifan ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan media permainan Nekeran Chem sangat layak sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi koloid. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan melaui presentase validitas isi sebesar 84,9% dan penilaian validitas konstruk dengan presentase sebesar 89,5%; kepraktisan media permainan Nekeran Chem ditinjau dari angket respon siswa mendapatkan presentase sebesar 97,6% dan untuk antivitas siswa didapatkan presentase partisipasi siswa 24,92% dan kerjasama kelompok sebesar 74,05%; kepraktisan dari permainan Nekeran Chem ditinjau dari ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa yaitu sebesar 93,3%. Kata Kunci: Nekeran Chem dan koloid This media development study is aimed to find out the appropriateness of Nekeran Chem game which is developed as a learning media in the teaching of koloid lesson to the eleventh grade of senior high school. This study is done in SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya and it has been tried out to 12 students of eleventh grade of MIA-6 class. The appropriateness criteria of Nekeran Chem is considered from validity aspect, practicality aspect, and effectivenes aspect. The validity aspect of Nekeran Chem is gained from the assesment of three validators, they are 3 chemistry lecturers. The practicality aspect is gained from students response which is supported by student observation sheet. The effectiveness aspect is gained from students learning result. The result of the study shows that Nekeran Chem is very appropriate as a learning media in the teaching of koloid lesson. It is shown through the percentage of content validity is 84,9 % and construct validity is 89,5%, the percentage of practicality of Nekeran Chem which is gained from student response questionnaire is 97,6%, and for studets observation sheet have presentage for partisipation 24,92% and than for teamwork have presentage 74,05%; the percentage of practicality of Nekeran Chem which is gained from students learning result is 93,3%. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran kimia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kelayakan teoritis dan empiris LKS berbasis inkuiri untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi kesetimbangan kimia. Kelayakan teoritis ditinjau dari kriteria isi, kebahasaan, penyajian, kegrafikan, kesesuaian dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri, dan kesesuaian dengan komponen keterampilan berpikir kritis. Kelayakan empiris ditinjau berdasarkan hasil tes keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan respon siswa. Keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dilatihkan yaitu intrepretasi, analisis, inferensi, dan evaluasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D. Tahapan yang dilakukan hanya sampai tahap Develop karena penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan teoritis LKS dan dilakukan ujicoba terbatas kepada 15 siswa kelas XI MIA SMAN 12 Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS yang dikembangkan layak secara teoritis maupun empiris. Persentase hasil validasi kelayakan kriteria isi 94,07%, kebahasaan 90,56%, penyajian 92,89%, kegrafikan 87,41%, kesesuaian dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri 81,33%, dan kesesuaian dengan komponen keterampilan berpikir kritis 85,00% dengan kategori sangat layak. Keseluruha siswa dinyatakan tuntas pada tes keterampilan berpikir kritis dan respon siswa sangat baik dengan persentase keseluruhan aspek sebesar 92,78%. Kata-kata Kunci: Lembar Kegiatan Siswa, model pembelajaran Inkuiri, keterampilan berpikir kritis, kesetimbangan kimia. This research was motivated by the low of student’s critical thinking skill on chemistry subject. The aim of this research was to know the theoretical and empirical feasibility of worksheet inquiry-based to rehearse student’s critical thinking skill on chemical equilibirum matter. The theoretical feasibilities were explored from criteria of content, language, presentation, grahic, suitability of inquiry learning model, and sutability of critical thinking skill component. The empirical feasibility was explored based on results of critical thinking skill test and students’ responses. Critical thinking skills that rehearsed were interpretation, analysis, inference, and evaluation. Kind of this research was research development that reffered to 4-D model. The stage that conducted only up to Develop stage because this research was conducted to know theoretical feasibility and then conducted a limited test to 15 students grade XI MIA SMAN 12. Based on research result could be concluded that the developed worksheet was feasible theoretically and empirically. Feasibility validation results percentage of criteria of content was 94.07%, language 90.56%, presentation 92.89%, graphic 87.41%, suitability with inquiry learning model 81.33%, and suitability with critical thinking component 85.00% with very feasible category. All students were passed on critical thinking skill test and students’ responses were very good with whole aspect presentage 92.78%. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan LKS yang layak ditinjau dari kriteria isi, penyajian, kebahasaan dan kegrafikan, melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif, serta respon siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Sasarannya adalah LKS yang dikembangkan. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar telaah, validasi, soal pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif, dan angket respon siswa. Sumber data berasal dari dosen kimia, guru kimia, serta 12 siswa kelas XI SMA dan data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian berupa LKS untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dengan persentase kelayakan antara 75% - 93,75%. Keterampilan berpikir kreatif originality, elaboration, fluency, dan flexibility dikaterogikan berturut-turut sangat baik (3,12 – 3,73), sangat baik (3,02 – 3,91), sangat baik (3,6 - 4), dan sangat baik (3,64 - 4). Respon siswa memperoleh persentase antara 75% - 100%. Dengan demikian, LKS yang dikembangkan dikategorikan layak. Kata kunci: LKS, scientific approach, keterampilan berpikir kreatif The aim of this research to develop the feasibility of student activity sheet in terms of content, presentation, language, and graphical, to practice student creative thinking skill, as well as the student’s response. The type of research is a research and development (R&D). The target is the student activity sheet that had been developed. The instrument which used consists of analysis sheet, validation, question of comprehention concept and student creative thinking skill, and student response questionairre. Source of data were obtained by chemistry lecturer, chemistry teacher, as well as 12 student grade XI Senior High School and data was done descriptively. The results of research in the form of student activity sheet to practice creative thinking skill with the percentage of feasibility between 75% - 93,75%. Creative thinking skill originality, elaboration, fluency, dan flexibility are successively categorized as very good (3,12 – 3,73), very good (3,02 – 3,91), very good (3,6 - 4), and very good (3,64 - 4). The response of students got percentage between 75% - 100%. Therefore, the student activity sheet that developed categorized as feasible. Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKS praktikum kimia berorientasi scientific approach yang dikembangkan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi. Kelayakan tersebut ditinjau dari beberapa kriteria yang dinilai berdasarkan kelayakan teoritis meliputi validitas isi, validitas penyajian, validitas kebahasaan, dan kesesuaian dengan komponen scientific approach, serta kelayakan empiris yang meliputi hasil belajar, dan respon siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS praktikum kimia berorientasi scientific approach ditinjau dari kelayakan teoritis berdasarkan kriteria isi, penyajian, kebahasaan dan kesesuaian dengan komponen scientific approach menunjukkan skor berturt-turut 79,26%; 77,78%; 78,33% dan 79,17% sehingga masuk dalam kriteria layak. Sedangkan ditinjau dari kelayakan empiris meliputi hasil angket respon siswa dan hasil belajar memperoleh skor berturut-turut 92,22% dan 83,33% sehingga masuk dalam kriteria sangat layak. Berdasarkan kelayakan teoritis dan empiris media yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum 2013. Kata kunci: LKS, Reaksi Reduksi dan Oksidasi, Scientific Approach The purpose of this research was to determine the chemistry worksheet oriented based scientific approach which was developed as a learning media of reduction and oxidation reaction materials. The properity is evaluated from several criteria which are been valued based on feasibility theoretical covering the validity of the contents of , validity presentation, validity of theminology , and conformity to components scientific approach , and the effectiveness of lks based on empirical which includes feasibility study results , and response students. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D). The results showed that worksheet oriented base scientific approach was feasible to use after limited test. This is shown from the results of the assessment of the percentage of each of the score based on the criteria the contents of ; the presentation of ; therminology and conformity to the process of scientific approach Show score each 79,26 %; 77,78 %; 78,33 % and 79,17 % so in on the criteria worthy.While in terms of feasibility empirical covering the chief response students and study results have consecutive scores 92,22 % and 83,33 % so in on the criteria very reasonable. Based on feasibility empirical theory and media developed being used as a medium learning in accordance with the demand 2013 curriculum. Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa pada penerapan LKS berorientasi SETS dalam pembelajaran materi pokok koloid. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian pra-eksperimental pretest-postest 1 kelompok (one-group pretest-postest design). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata kelas karakter peduli lingkungan sebesar 2,8 pada pertemuan 1 dan 2,9 pada pertemuan 3. Kedua skor tersebut termasuk dalam kriteria baik, yang berarti bahwa siswa memiliki tingkat kepedulian terhadap laingkungan yang baik. Tujuh aspek yang diamati, yaitu 1) Menggunakan bahan praktik seperlunya mendapatkan skor rata-rata kelas 4; 2) Membersihkan alat praktik yang telah dipakai mendapatkan skor 3,8; 3) Membuang sampah pada tempatnya mendapatkan skor 3; 4) Membersihkan lingkungan kelas mendapatkan skor1; 5) Membersihkan tangan setelah melakukan praktik mendapatkan skor 2,6; 6) Tidak mencorat-coret meja atau dinding mendapatkan skor 4; 7) Memisahkan sampah organik dan sampah an-organik saat membuang sampah mendapatkan skor 1,6. Kata kunci :Karakter Peduli Lingkungan, LKS, SETS The purpose of this research is to describe the studentscaring environment character on the implementation of worksheet based on SETS in learning colloidal subject matter. The kind of research used is quantitative descriptive research based on pre-experimental one-group pretest-postest design. The research results show that the class average score for caring environment character of 2.8 at a meeting 1 and 2.9 at a meeting 3. Those score is on good criteria , which means that students have a good concern for environment . Seven aspect observed, such as 1 ) use of practices materials as needed to get class average score of 4; 2 ) cleaning practices instrument that has been used get a score 3.8; 3 ) throw the garbage in place get a score 3; 4 ) cleaning the environment class get 1 score; 5 ) cleaning hand after doing a practices get a score of 2.6; 6 not scribbling the table or wall get a score 4; 7 ) separating organic and anorganic garbage when throw garbage get a score of 1.6. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media interaktif keterampilan dasar di laboratorium berbasis video yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan sebatas uji kelayakan merujuk pada desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Telaah dan validasi media oleh dosen kimia dan guru kimia melalui angket penilaian media. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI-MIA 3 SMAN 1 Krembung Sidoarjo melalui angket respon siswa. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas lembar telaah, lembar validasi, respon siswa, pretest, dan posttest. Semua komponen penilaian memperoleh persentase kelayakan ≥70% (layak), serta respon siswa memperoleh persentase ≥83% (layak). Media yang dihasilkan dinyatakan layak jika mendapat persentase kelayakan ≥61%. Semua siswa mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar berdasarkan kriteria n-gain sebesar ≥0,68(sedang). This type of research is the development of research, this study only included feasibility test refers to Research and Development (R&D). Review and validation of media by chemistry professor and chemistry teacher using a questionnaire assesment. Limited testing done in class XI-MIA 3 SMAN 1 Krembung Sidoarjo using student questionnaire responses. The research instrument consisted of sheets of the study, validation sheet, student responses, pretest, and posttest. All components of the percentage of votes obtained eligibility as big as ≥70% (feasible), student responses earn a percentage of ≥83% (feasible). The resulting media declared eligible if a percentage feasibility as big as ≥61%. All student has increase in learning outcomes based n-gain criteria as big as ≥0,68 (moderate). Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS berbasis kontekstual pada materi bahan kimia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta mendeskripsikan respon siswa setelah menggunakan LKS berbasis kontekstual. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pangembangan (R&D). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar telaah, lembar validasi, dan angket respon siswa. LKS diujicobakan secara terbatas pada 3 siswa Tunarungu di SMPLB Negeri Gedangan Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lembar Kerja Siswa Berbasis Kontekstual layak digunakan sebagai perangkat pembelajaran pada materi bahan kimia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dari penilaian validasi dengan rentang presentase sebesar 80%-100% ditinjau dari kriteria isi, 80%-86,66% dari kriteria bahasa dan 80%-93,33% penyajian. Hasil respon siswa menunjukkan respon positif dengan rentang presentase sebesar 66,66%-100%. Kata Kunci: Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), tunarungu, bahan kimia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. This study aimed to describe the feasibility of student work sheet based contextual on chemicals material in daily life and to describe feasibility of student work sheet based on the response of students after using student work sheet based contextual. The types of this study is research development (R&D). The instruments used were study sheet, validation sheet, and the student responses questionnaire. Student work sheet exercised limited to three deaf students in SMPLB GedanganSidoarjo. The result of this study showed that the student work sheet based contextual proper to used as a learning tool on chemicals material in daily life. This is shown from validation ratings between gets a percentage of 80%-100% in terms of the criteria of content, 80%-86,66% criteria of language, and 80%-93,33% and criteria of presentation. Abstract

Abstrak Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Pra Eksperimen yaitu penelitian yang hanya menggunakan satu kelas untuk dijadikan subjek penelitian tanpa adanya kelas pembanding dengan pola “One Group Pretest and Posttest Design”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi larutan asam basa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa metode tes yang terdiri dari pretest dan posttest, yang dalam tes tersebut mencakup soal tingkat berpikir kritis. Data berpikir kritis didukung oleh keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran yang berlangsung selama 3 kali pertemuan dengan kategori sangat baik yaitu dengan rata-rata nilai keterlaksanaan berturut-turut 86.40%, 90.90%, dan 96.29%. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis menunjukkan peningkatan hasil pretest dan posttest yaitu 1.29 dan 3.06. Hasil tersebut juga didukung oleh perolehan nilai n-gain sebesar 0.65 dengan kategori sedang. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis pada saat pretest dalam interpretasi sebesar 1.59, analisis sebesar 1.15, dan inferensi sebesar 1.12 sedangkan pada saat posttest aspek interpretasi sebesar 2.91, analisis sebesar 3.10, dan inferensi sebesar 3.17. Aktivitas siswa juga mendukung proses pembelajaran dalam melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing, Asam dan Basa, dan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis The research programme that was used is the Pre Experimental research that only uses one class to be used as research subjects without their grade comparison with the design of “One Group Pretest and Posttest Design”. The aim of this research is to know the critical thinking skill in students after application the guided inquiry learning in mode acid base solution materials. The metode that was used to collect data was tes metode which contains of pretest and posttest, which also include the questions about critical thingking. This results of critical thingking supported by implementation of learning model applied during three meetings with the category very good that the average value of learning implementation respectively is 86.40%, 90.90%, and 96.29%. The average score of the critical thingking ability shows the escalation of pretest and posttest results, they are 1.29 and 3.06 in a row. Those result were also supported by the acquisition of n-gain score which is 0.65 with medium category. The average score of critical thinking ability in pretest for interpretation aspect is 1.59, 1.15 for analysis aspect, and 1.12 for inference. While in posttest the students got average score 2.91 for interpretation aspect, 3.10 for analysis, and 3.17 for inference. The student activity also support learning into train students critical thingking skills. Keywords: Guided Inquiry Learning Mode, Acid Base, and Critical Thingking Skill.
