Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan LKS yang diuji cobakan kepada 9 siswa tunarung kelas X di SMALB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya untuk mengetahui kelayakan ditinjau dari kriteria isi, bahasa, penyajian, dan kegrafikan, kemampuan Hands On dan Minds On serta respon siswa. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan metode Research and Development (R & D). Penelitian terbatas pada tahap studi pendahuluan dan tahap pengembangan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar telaah, validasi, tes keterampilan teknik eksperimen dasar, dan angket respon siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan LKS yang dikembangkan mendapat persentase antara 75%-100% dengan kategori Layak. Hasil angket respon siswa mendapat rentang persentase 77,78%-100% dengan kriteria layak. Hasil Tes Hands On (Tes Keterampilan Teknik Eksperime Dasar) dengan rentang 1x-3x melakukan kegiatan sampai sempurna, sedangkan Tes Minds On dengan rentang nilai 75-95 dengan kriteria tuntas menunjukkan kemampuan Minds On dapat dilatihkan kepada siswa. Kata-kata Kunci: LKS, Kimia Rumah Tangga, Hands On Dan Minds On, SMALB Tunarungu. The aim of this research to develop the feasibility of students worksheet on 9 Hearing Impairment students in grade X in SMALB Karya Mulia Surabaya to determine the feasibility in terms of content, language, presentasion, grapichal, ability Hands On and Minds On as well as student’s response. The type of research is a research and development (R&D). The study confined to the preliminary study and development stage. The instrument which used consist of analysis sheet, validation, basic skills test experimental techniques, and student responses questionire. The technique of data collection are questionnaire and test. The result of research in the form of student activity sheet percentage feasibility between 75%-100% categorized as feasible. The results of uestionnaire responses of students with a percentage range of 77,78%-100% categorized as feasible. Hands On Test results (Experimental Techniques Basic Skills Test) with a range of 1x-3x doing activities until perfect, while the Test Minds On with a range of 75-95 with a category value that indicates Minds On ability can be trained to students. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi hidrolisis garam yang ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan model pembelaran berbasis masalah, aktvitas peserta didik, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dilatihkan yaitu interpretasi, analisis, dan evaluasi. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Pamekasan kelas XI-D. Hasil-hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa (1) Keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada pertemuan I, II dan III mendapatkan nilai rata-rata keterlaksanaan pada tiap-tiap fase dalam rentang 3,00 - 3,80 dengan kategori baik dan sangat baik (2) Aktivitas peserta didik pada pertemuan I, II dan III menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik telah sesuai dengan sintaks model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan peserta didik telah berlatih keterampilan berpikir kritis berdasarkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (3) Model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik, hal ini terlihat pada peningkatan keterampilan berpikir interpretasi, analisis dan evaluasi pada posttest. yaitu 28 peserta didik mencapai tuntas dan 9 peserta didik tidak tuntas untuk interpretasi, 29 peserta didik mencapai tuntas dan 8 peserta didik tidak tuntas untuk analisis serta 29 peserta didik mencapai tuntas dan 8 peserta didik tidak tuntas untuk evaluasi. Kata-kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Hidrolisis Garam This research aimed to develop students’ critical thinking skill on salt hydrolysis matter that is explored from feasibility of problem-based learning model, students’ activity, and students’ critical thinking skill. Critical thinking skills that were trained were interpretation, analysis, and evaluation. It used research model of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The subject of this research was students of SMAN 1 Pamekasan grade XI-D. Results of research showed that (1) Feasibility of problem-based learning model on meeting I, II, and III obtained average score at each phase between 3.00 – 3.80 on good and very good category (2) Students’ activity on meeting I, II, and III showed that it was suitable with syntax of problem-based learning model and students had trained critical thinking skill based on problem-based learning model (3) Problem-based learning could train students’ critical thinking skill, it could be seen from the development of critical thinking skill of interpretation, analysis, and evaluation on posttest, 28 students achieved completeness and 9 students didn’t on interpretation, 29 students achieved completeness and 8 students didn’t on analysis, and 29 students achieved completeness and 8 students didn’t on evaluation. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media berbasis video yang dikembangkan pada materi pokok kimia unsurMedia layak digunakan jika memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (developmental research). Prosedur dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada desain R&D oleh Borg and Gall yang dilakukan hanya sebatas pada tahap uji coba awal kepada 12 siswa kelas XI MIA SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto. Media ini dikatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi kimia unsur. Intrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar telaah, lembar validasi, lembar respon siswa, pretest dn posttest. Kriteria kevalidan diperoleh dari hasil validasi sebesar 94,05% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Kriteria keefektifan ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, dengan N-gain dalam kategori sedang sebesar 75% siswa dan 25% siswa dalam kategori tinggi. Sedangkan riteria kepraktisan diperoleh dari hasil respon siswa sebesar 93,16% siswa memberikan respon positif sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sangan praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bawah media video demonstrasi kimia layak digunakan sebagi media pembelajaran dalam materi kimia unsur. Kata Kunci: media berbasis video, R&D, demonstrasi kimia, kimia unsur, This study aims are to determine the feasibility of video based media which developed as instructional media on chemical elements. This type of research is developmental research. The procedures in this study refers to R & D Gall design that carried out only restricted to preliminary field test to 12 students of XI class SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto. Media is feasible if satisfy at validity, practically, and effectiveness criterions. The instruments used of this study are review sheet, validation sheet, studenst response sheet, pretest and posttest. Validation criteria shown by validation result is 94,05% include in the category very valid.. Efectiveness criteria shown by an increase in learning outcomes of studentsis, with N-gain in the moderate category is 75 % and 25 % is in the high category. While Practically criteria shown by student’s response result is 93,16% students which are positive response and included in the category very prctical. Based on these result, it can be concluded that media video demonstration of chemistry which developed is feasible to be used as instructional media on chemical elements. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kelayakan multimedia berbasis komputer ditinjau dari kriteria validitas isi, penyajian, dan kebahasaan, (2) pergeseran pemahaman konsep siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengembangan desain 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate), penelitian ini terbatas sampai tahap develop. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian One group pretest-posttest design dengan sampel penelitian yaitu 15 siswa kelas XI MIA-1 SMA 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kelayakan multimedia berbasis komputer pada materi kesetimbangan kimia berdasarkan penilaian dosen kimia mendapatkan hasil validitas rata-rata sebesar 77,41% dengan kategori layak, dengan rincian berdasarkan kriteria kelayakan validitas isi sebesar 75,55% dengan kategori layak, validitas penyajian sebesar 76,67% dengan kategori layak, dan validitas kebahasaan sebesar 80% dengan kategori layak. (2) terjadi pergerseran pemahaman konsep siswa yaitu terjadi peningkatan persentase siswa tahu konsep sebesar 26%; penurunan persentase siswa tidak tahu konsep sebesar 10,67%; dan penurunan siswa yang miskonsepsi sebesar 15,33%.Kata Kunci: Desain Pengembangan 4-D, Pemahaman Konsep, Miskonsepsi The aims of this development research are to know about (1) the feasibility of computer based multimedia by the criteria content feasibiliy, presentation, and linguistic, (2) a shift in understanding concept of students. This research of development used design 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate), that is limited until develop stage. the research used the One group pretest-posttest design with sample is 15 student XI Science-1 SMA 17August 1945 Surabaya. The result show (1) the feasibility of computer based multimedia in chemical equilibrium topic by a assessment chemistry lecture get result of feasibility rate were 77,41% with feasible category, with detail by the criteria content feasibiliy were 75,55% with feasible category, the criteria presentation feasibility were 76,67% with feasible category and the criteria linguistic feasibility were 80% with feasible category, (2) a shift in understanding concept of students is occur increase percentage know concept of students were 26%; decrease percentage not know concept of students were 10,67%; and decrease percentage misconception of students were 15,33%.Key Words: Development 4-D design, Understanding concept of student, Misconception.

Abstract

Penelitian jenis pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari permainan berbasis Android Catch the Erlenmeyer yang dikembangkan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Tatanama Senyawa kelas X SMA. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari Plomp yang dilakukan hingga uji coba terbatas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo dan di uji cobakan secara terbatas kepada 12 siswa di kelas X MIA-6. Kelayakan dari permainan berbasis Android Catch the Erlenmeyer ini dilihat dari aspek validitas. Validitas didapatkan dari hasil validasi dari 3 dosen kimia, Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa permainan yang dikembangkan yaitu Catch the Erlenmeyer layak, dibuktikan dengan data persentase validasi isi sebesar 91,14 %; validasi konstruk sebesar 92,12Kata Kunci: Permainan Catch the Erlenmeyer, pengembangan media pembelajaran, Tatanama Senyawa kimia.The purpose of this development research are to know about the feasibility of Catch the Erlenmeyer based on Android which developed as instructional media in Nomenclature for X grade Senior High School. This study uses a development method Plomp which limited to the activities of product trials. This study have been done in SMAN 2 Sidoarjo and be tested is limited to 12 students in class X MIA-6. Feasibility of Catch the Erlenmeyer game based Android is obtain by the aspect of validity. Validity obtained from the validation from 3 lecturer of Chemistry. The results of this research shows that Catch the Erlenmeyer game based on Android is feasible, evidenced by the percentage of validation of the content by percentage of 91,14%; construct validation of 92,12%.Keywords: Catch the Erlenmeyer game, development of learning media, Chemistry nomenclature

Abstract

This research has aim to describe and analyse students’ level Proactive Decision Making (PDM) based on metacognitive skill in solving reaction rate problems for upper, middle, and lower students’ groups in chemistry subject. The subjects in this research is students XI-Light Vehicle Technique (Teknik Kendaraan Ringan) in Vocational High School (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan) Kudu Jombang. This is qualitative research, the data source are students’ evaluation test results and interviews. The validation method that use is method and times triangulation. The Proactive Decision Making (PDM) level are Object, Alternative, Information, and Decision Radar. The results showed that students’ level Proactive Decision Making (PDM) in the planning stage upper group has the highest level, which is Decision Radar, middle group is Information, and lower group is Alternative. The monitoring stage level of the three groups is Decision Radar, and the reflection stage level of the three groups is Object. Abstract

Penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan dan aktivitas belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan strategi konflik kognitif pada materi laju reaksi. Subyek penelitian adalah kelas XI IPA 2 di SMA Negeri 1 Kertosono, Nganjuk yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakanOne Group Pretest-Postest Design dengan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar tes keterlaksanaan pembelajaran strategi konflik kognitif dan lembar aktivitas belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Hasilanalisismenunjukkan (1)Keterlaksanaan strategi konflik kognitif pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua sebesar 95,28% dan 95,70% sehingga dapat dikategorikan sangat baik. (2) Persentase aktivitas belajar siswa pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua sebesar 100% dan 100%, serta terjadi pergeseran miskonsepsi menuju arah tahu konsep dari pretest ke postest dengan persentase sebesar 37,50% menjadi 2,22%. Dengan demikian miskonsepsi siswa pada materi laju reaksi mampu direduksi dengan strategi konflik kognitif. Kata Kunci:Strategi Konflik Kognitif, Keterlaksanaan, Miskonsepsi, Laju Reaksi. Research with the aim to describe feasibility and learning activities of students towards learning with cognitive conflict strategies in reaction rate material. Subjects were class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kertosono, Nganjuk totaling 30 students. The study design using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a research instrument in the form of a test sheet feasibility cognitive conflict instructional strategies and student activity sheets during the learning process. The analysis showed (1) Feasibility cognitive conflict strategy in the first meeting and the second at 95.28% and 95.70% so it can be considered very good. (2) The percentage of students learning activities at the first meeting and the second by 100% and 100%, as well as a shift in the direction of misconceptions out concepts from pretest to posttest with a percentage of 37.50% to 2.22%. Thus the student misconceptions in the material capable of reaction rate is reduced with cognitive conflict strategy. Abstract

Proporsi muatan isi kurikulum pada SMALB-B adalah 30% akademik dan 70% keterampilan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang memuat kedua aspek tersebut. Salah satunya adalah LKS berorientasi entrepreneurship. Didalamnya berisi kegiatan praktikum yang berhubungan dengan materi pelajaran dan keterampilan entrepreneur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan LKS berorientasi entrepreneurship yang layak ditinjau dari kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan untuk mengetahui pemahaman materi dan kemampuan entrepreneurship siswa tunarungu di SMALB. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Reseach and Development/R&D) terbatas pada tahap uji coba terbatas. Sumber data adalah siswa tunarungu di SMALB Karya Mulia Surabaya, penelaah, dan validator yaitu dosen Jurusan Kimia dan PLB serta guru IPA SMALB. Instrumen penelitian adalah lembar telaah, validasi, observasi aktivitas siswa, angket respon siswa, soal tes kemampuan, dan angket kelayakan produk. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan LKS ditinjau dari kevalidan yaitu isi dan konstruk, rentang persentase sebesar 80-93,33%. Komponen keefektifan yaitu tes kemampuan, rata-rata skor tes ≥ 75 dan kelayakan produk, persentase sebesar 100%. Komponen kepraktisan yaitu aktivitas siswa rentang persentase sebesar 97,62-100% dan respon siswa, rentang persentase sebesar 50-100%. Dengan demikian, LKS yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran, kecuali salah satu komponen respon siswa tentang entrepreneurship. Kata Kunci : LKS, entrepreneurship, siswa tunarungu, bahan kimia di rumah tangga. The proportion of curriculum content in SMALB-B was 30% in the academic and 70% in the skill. Therefore, it was required an instructional media which content those two aspects. One of them is the LKS-oriented entrepreneurship. It contains practical activities related to the subject matters and entrepreneur skills. The purpose of this study was to develop an appropriate LKS-oriented entrepreneurship in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness which determine the understanding of matters and the ability of hearing impairment students entrepreneurship. Sources of the data is hearing impairment students in SMALB, reviewers, and validators consisting of lecturers Department of Chemistry and PLB as well as a science teacher of SMALB. The research instrument is a study sheet, validation, observation of student activities, student questionnaire responses, the ability of test questions, and an eligible product questionnaires. Data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results show that the appropriateness LKS in terms of content and construct validity, that has an average percentage of 80-93.33%. Components of the effectiveness was test capability, based on an average test score ≥ 75 and feasibility of the product, an average percentage of 100%. Components practicality were student activities, an average percentage of 97,62-100%, and student responses an average percentage of 50-100%. Thus, the developed LKS is appropriate to be utilized as an instructional media, except of the components in students responses related to entrepreneurship. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS berdasarkan tiga kriteria yaitu: (1) validitas LKS berdasarkan kriteria isi dan konstruksi; (2) keefektifan LKS berdasarkan peningkatan model mental siswa; dan (3) kepraktisan LKS berdasarkan respon siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan 4D yang terbatas pada tahap 3D. Subjek penelitian adalah LKS yang dikembangkan. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah pakar kimia dan 16 siswa SMA. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) LKS valid berdasarkan kriteria isi sebesar 86,67%-100% dan kriteria konstruksi sebesar 73,40%-86,67%; (2) model mental siswa yang terdiri dari representasi level makroskopik, sub-mikroskopi, dan simbolik berhasil dilatihkan dengan peningkatan uji N-gain dengan 3 siswa dalam kategori tinggi, 12 siswa dalam kategori sedang, dan 1 siswa dalam kategori rendah (3) LKS mendapatkan respon positif dari siswa dengan kriteria konstruksi sebesar 87,50-100% dan kiteria isi sebesar 93,33-100%. Tiga kriteria telah terpenuhi sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: LKS, model mental, reaksi eksoterm dan endoterm. The aims of this research is to describe the feasibility of Student Activity Sheet or LKS based on the tree critrias that are: (1) validity of LKS based on content and construct criteria; (2) effectiveness of LKS based on student’s mental models improvement; and (3) practicality of LKS based on student’s responses. The type of this research is research development by using 4D approaches which is limited by 3D. The subject of this research is LKS that have been developed. The data source of this research were chemistry expert and 16 student of senior high school. Data are analyzed descriptively. The result of this research showed that (1) the activity sheet categorized as feasible based on content with percentage between 86,67%-100%; and construct with percentage between 73,40%-86,67%; (2) student’s mental model that included macroscopic, sub-microscopic, and symbolic representation level successfully practiced by improving N-gain where 3 student in high category, 13 student in middle category, and 1 student in low category; (3) the activity sheet get positive response from students with percentage of content category between 87,50-100% and construct category between 93,33-100%.. This tree category have been completed, so it concluded that LKS feasible to use in the learning process. Keywords: student activity sheet, mental models, exotermic and endotermic reactions
