Abstract

Academic Advisory Guidance at the Information Technology Department  Politeknik Negeri Padang is currently carried out manually, causing several obstacles, including time and place. To help with problems that occur, a website-based academic guidance system was built using the waterfall method. The stages of implementation methodology carried out are Analysis, System Design, Program Code Generation, and Program Testing. With this system, students and academic advisors can interact anytime and anywhere without having to meet face-to-face. This can also be a solution for students who have both academic and personal problems.

Abstract

Malay in Peninsular Malaysia can be divided into eight sub-ethnics which are Malay Bugis, Malay, Malay Champa, Malay Jawa, Malay Kelantan, Malay Kedah, Malay Minang and Malay Pattani. Ancestry informative marker (AIM) can be used to represent the eight subethnic of Malay population in Peninsular Malaysia. In this research, single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) datasets of eight sub-ethnics are analyses in order to obtain the AIM for Malays population in Peninsular Malaysia. However, the dataset may have outlier, missing data and redundancy that may impact the accuracy of the result. Pre-processing data is an important step that will remove the entire problem. Iterative pruning principal component analysis (ipPCA) is one of the techniques that usually use in analysis on genome datasets to extract the information. It can be applied on the high structured data and can improve the resolution of the data. It also used for structure a sub-population. Random Forest and Hidden Naïve Bayes is used to classify the SNP that can be used as AIM. Information Gain Ratio will rank the chosen AIM based on the value of each attribute

Abstract

Cancer is a very serious disease. Deadly and very hard if you lived with. Cancer is caused when abnormal changes happens on cells that are out of control.Cancer cells often form a lump or mass called a tumor and are named after the part of the body in which they originated. When Happens at breast organ it is called Breas Cancer. Deadly as any other type of cancer. Also as any other type, it has a life cycle consist of stages. usually does not produce any pain in the early stages in which it is easy to treat on. Cancer main problem is when to find out that the patient had cancer cell inside his body. Early stages always it better timing to start treating the cancer tumors. All old reaserchers and doctors always tried to improve the medical processe in which we try to find cancer cells also the other medical checkups to help us detect or even predict that this person had or will have a cancer disease in the future. CAD systems and Medical Screening was the main ways to think about. Medical Images processing technologies and finding best features of cells was the right way and using CNN, Deep CNN, Convoltion Matricese, SVM Technique and many of Machine Learning algorithms used before, the main challenge was to make it easy and also more accurate to complete these tests. Many improvements made at this track of work. The results always was More and more of accuracy improvements and time reduction and resources usage improvements too.

Abstract

This report discusses about the dominant species of no biological data genes. This genes are belong to animal species. Gene is one of a process where the biological data encoded in the gene that instructed by the DNA to convert into a functional product such as protein. In gene classification, with the growth of using gene expression database, there are not enough tools to extract the gene expression from these databases. There exist over 23,000 to 50,000 genes for animal genome. So, this might contribute to data redundancy as problems can happen while handling a huge database. Therefore, to overcome the problem, many approaches to cluster and determine the dominant species have been proposed in the previous literature. For this project, in order to determine the dominant species, the information entropy based method is used. As conclusion, the purpose of this research is to identify the dominant species of no biological genes using entropy method proposed.

Abstract

Electronic health technology applications are important tools that are utilized to provide health care services. These applications allow healthcare professionals and patients to share, manage and have control over their health information electronically whilst maintaining social distancing. Under hard conditions brought by the coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19), eHealth tools can be used to assist with the provision of healthcare services. However, the adoption of these technology applications by users is still questionable. This study presents a systematic literature review of 31 articles that were published on the adoption of eHealth cloud-based technology applications during COVID-19. A systematic literature review was conducted using PRISMA protocol by searching the Scopus databases. The search was conducted for the year 2020 to 2021 since COVID-19 is still new in the research field. From 31 articles that were selected, it was found that most countries are still left behind on this topic. It was only a few researchers in each country who tried to contribute or put effort into the topic. Furthermore, it was indicated that Italy contributed the highest with 5 authors to this topic. Thus, more research still needs to be conducted on this topic. One of the limitations of this study was that, the data was gathered from the Scopus database only. Researchers suggest that for future research, other additional sources need to be searched to find out more about the adoption of eHealth cloud-based technology applications during COVID-19.

Abstract

The Geographic Information System for Public Facilities is a system that makes it easier for the public to search and find locations. The more people use this system, the more problems will arise. Because people still use the manual method, namely by asking about the location of public facilities in the surrounding community. This is very ineffective and accurate. Therefore, a public facility information system was built using CI 3, Java, and PHP in the form of android. The method used in this development system is the waterfall method. With this GIS, the public can search for the location of public facilities, find public facilities, and provide a route to the location using the Tracking process to find out where the current position is.
