Abstract

This study aims to determine changes in social conditions which include group dynamics and social concerns as well as to find out changes in economic conditions including marketing of fishery products, number of buyers, and income of fresh fish traders at TPI Rajawali during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted from September 2020 to October 2020, at Fresh Fish Traders in TPI Rajawali During the Covid-19 Pandemic in the City of Makassar, South Sulawesi. The sampling method was purposive sampling by selecting fresh fish traders who carried out trading activities before the Covid-19 pandemic struck and after the Covid-19 pandemic took place with a total sample size of 35 fresh fish traders. Sources of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Social conditions were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysts, while for economic conditions the marketing channels were analyzed using qualitative descriptive, marketing margins, total buyers were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and income was analyzed by income analysis. The results of research on social conditions that include social interactions, social adaptation and social group dynamics during the COVID-19 pandemic have each changed. For the marketing channels at TPI Rajawali, four marketing channels were obtained and for the Marketing Margin, the average fish trader at TPI Rajawali experienced a decline due to reduced purchasing power. The results of research on the income of fresh fish traders at TPI Rajawali also decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic from Rp. 9,635,540.63 with a percentage of 56.12% decreased by Rp. 7,532,814.88 with a percentage of 43.88%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how fishermen's perceptions of the use of kusuka cards in supporting business activities. as well as to find out how the effectiveness of the fisherman card utilization in the fishermen empowerment program in Untia Fisherman Village, Bringkanaya Subdistrict, Makassar City. This research was conducted in January 2021, on fishermen who have a card I like in Kampung Nelayan Untia, Makassar City. The sampling method is purposive sampling because with several considerations, namely, the coastal area where the people are mostly fishermen, there are fishermen who have a card I like, there are community assistants who can also act as key informants, related to the general condition of Untia fishermen. This type of research used in this research is descriptive. The population in this study were fishermen of the untia fishing village who had a kusuka card and the number of fishermen who had a kusuka card was 75 people. The sampling method used in this study is the saturated sample method. The saturated sample method is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. The data collection techniques were interview and observation. With data analysis using a Likert scale. The research results obtained are fishermen's perception of the kusuka card in untia fishing village, namely the existence of this kusuka card is very important and very helpful for fishermen starting from getting help to the ease of joining the ministry of marine and fisheries programs, so this kusuka card provides many benefits that have been felt. for fishermen. The effectiveness of the Kusuka card in the fishing village is quite effective because it can help fishermen's activities at sea and there is a Person In Charge as the person in charge of handling the I like card if there are obstacles faced by fishermen.

Abstract

The presence of women as one of the development potentials is felt to be very urgent because now the Indonesian nation is currently at a very important momentum in realizing development. The purpose of this study is to determine the perceptions and behavior in managing plastic waste for the sustainability of fisheries resources, and the dynamics of management and the role of coastal women in plastic waste processing and to find out how big the contribution of the role of coastal women in processing plastic waste to support the household economy. The research was conducted in August 2020 in Galesong District, Takalar Regency. Determination of respondents using a census technique, by determining all the number of informants based on the involvement of coastal women's groups in processing waste with considerations and goals that are considered to be able to provide data to a maximum of 30 people. The data analysis uses Household Income Analysis and Contribution and Likert Scale, which analyzes the data interactively and uses questionnaires. From the research results, it was found that there are perceptions and behaviors of coastal women in processing plastic waste and the dynamics of plastic waste management so that coastal women have a contribution to household income and the sustainability of fisheries resources.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of social media, customer experience and servicescape on revisit intention in marine tourism objects at Akkarena Beach, Makassar and to determine the factors that impact the interest in revisit intention to Akkarena Beach, Makassar. This research was conducted from January to March 2021. The type of research used is associative. The research data was collected using the interview method and the distribution of a list of questions (questionnaires) distributed to 94 respondents who had visited the Akkarena Beach marine tourism object and active users of social media. The analysis technique used is multiple regression to prove the research hypothesis. Data that has met the validity test, reliability test and classical assumption are the processed to obtain a regression equation. The results of this research indicate that the impact of social media, customer experience and servicescape together has a positive and significant effect on revisit intention with a value of Fcount 11,403 > Ftable 2,709. The partial test shows that social media, customer experience and servicescape each have a positive and significant effect on revisit intention. Social media variabels have a positive and significant effect on revisit intention, it is seen from the value of Tcount 2,893 > Ttable 1,9864 with significance 0,002 < 0,05. Customer experience variabels have a positive and significant effect on revisit intention, it is seen from the value of Tcount 4,038 > Ttable 1,9864 with a significance 0,000 < 0,05. Servicescape variabels have a positive and significant effect on revisit intention, it is seen from the value of Tcount 2,984 > Ttable 1,9864 with a significance 0,004 < 0,05. The value of Adjusted R Square obtained from the Determinant Coefficient (R2) test on the revisit intention of 0,651 explains that 65,1% in revisit intention is able to be explained by variables are social media, customer experience and servicescape, while the remaining 34,9% us explained by other variables that are not investigated in this research.

Abstract

The fisheries sector is a sector that has a contribution to economic development in Indonesia, this can be seen from the increase in fishery production which continues to increase from year to year. One area that has a high level of enthusiasm in fishery economic activity is Barrang Ca'di Island with the traditional system of hand line fishing on Barrang Caddi Island resulting in the inability to access fishing locations due to one of the cruising capabilities of the fleet and production costs that must be incurred by hand line fishermen, the fisherman also still maintains the pattern of economic system patterns in fishing activities as a reference material in living their daily lives, based on this the purpose of this study is to determine the level of income for production activities and the level of business feasibility of hand line fishermen for fishing. developed on Barrang Ca'di Island. The results of the study obtained the amount of income from the fishing line business, which was Rp. 88,358,140, - and showed that the line fishing business carried out by fishermen on Barrang Caddi Island was feasible to be developed with the division between revenue and costs having a value of more than one (>1 ).
