Abstract

This study aims to map fishing areas based on the operating coordinates of fishing gear. The research was carried out in two coastal districts, namely in Kajuara waters (Kajuara is on the south coast of Bone Bay at coordinate 5°06′39.77″–5°02′17.40″S and 120°27′03.46″ –120°30′37.74″E) and Lamuru waters (Lamuru is on the north coast of Bone Bay at coordinate 4°26′37.85″–4°20′49.52″S and 120°27′03.54″–120°34′06.58″E). The type of survey is taking a sample from one population and using a questionnaire as much 111 respondents, consisting of 65 respondents from Kajuara and 46 respondents from Lamuru. Answer the research objectives using Global Positioning System, satellite Citra (Google Earth Pro), percentage analysis (%) and total revenue analysis (TR). In Kajuara waters, there are seven types of fishing gear operating, four fishing zones, 11–18 types of catch, total catch is 335 kg/trip. In Lamuru waters; there are six types of fishing gear operating, five fishing zones, 4–16 types of catch, total catch is 290 kg/trip. Fishing gear in zone three Kajuara (fishing area at coordinates 5°06'43.41"- 5°02'07.61"S and 120°21'11.68”- 120°23'07.24E); lift nets, fishing rods and purse seines; in zone five (fishing area at coordinates 4°28'19.50"- 4°15'25.68"S and 120°27'03.54"- 120°34'06.58"E) the waters of Lamuru boat lift net and boat lift net cungkil (gouge) are the zones (fishing area) with the greatest potential and production value.

Abstract

PPUPIK is a Campus Intellectual Product Business Development Program. This program is one of the service schemes granted by Hasanuddin University for its lecturers. This scheme is the output of products or services that can generate income for the laboratory. One of the products is shredded tuna. This product is produced for sale so as to earn campus income. Where the Hasanuddin University campus is one of the Legal Entity State Universities (PTNBH). This tuna shredded product is produced in the Fisheries Agribusiness Laboratory. The short-term goal is to train students to be entrepreneurial and the long-term goal is to earn income. The method used is a demonstration of making shredded tuna, then packaged and marketed. This activity involved 4 students accompanied by 4 lecturers. The results of the demonstration from 5 kg of tuna fish are only 4.7 kg of shredded tuna. Where shrinkage as much as 300 grams. There are 2 packages of shredded production, namely plastic packaging and box packaging containing 100 grams each.

Abstract

The income of coastal communities as fishermen is relatively low because the economic activity of the fishing gear used is not yet optimal. This study aims to analyze the economic value and productivity of fishing gear that provides optimal income. The research was conducted in two coastal districts of Bone Bay, namely Tellu Siattinge and Kajuara. The location was determined purposively with the consideration that the Tellu Siattinge area is in the north while the Kajuara area is in the south. This type of survey research uses qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. The research results stated the fishing gear with the highest economic value was the purse seine type in the Kajuara District and the bagan cungkil type in the Tellu Siattinge District. The second result identified that the fishing gear that had the highest productivity was the bagan tancap type in Kajuara and the bagan cungkil type in Tellu Siattinge waters.

Abstract

Ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) secara global merupakan spesies yang paling banyak dibudidayakan dan secara signifikan membantu pertumbuhan ekonomi negara-negara berkembang. Kebutuhan ikan nila global di tahun 2024 mencapai US$ 14,4 miliar atau setara dengan IDR 230 triliun. Program Kolaborasi Sosial Membangun Masyarakat (KOSABANGSA) yang telah berlangsung pada tahun 2023 diharapkan menjadi cikal bakal pengembangan budidaya ikan nila di Kabupaten Kolaka, khususnya di Desa Lalonggolosua Kecamatan Tanggetada yang merupakan salah satu wilayah target Rencana Aksi Nasional Percepatan Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal (RAN PPDT). Teknologi tepat guna yang telah ditransfer oleh Universitas Hasanuddin sebagai Tim Pendamping ke Tim Pelaksana (Universitas Sembilanbelas November) dan masyarakat melalui program tersebut adalah teknologi merakit induk unggul, teknologi pembenihan, teknologi produksi benih ikan nila monoseks jantan, teknologi pembuatan pakan mandiri, serta teknologi pembuatan abon, dampo, dan ikan kering berbahan dasar ikan nila. Sekitar 1000 calon induk unggul ikan nila telah disalurkan ke Kelompok Tani Tambak Desa Lalonggolosua dan saat ini telah tumbuh menjadi induk dan telah memproduksi generasi ikan nila generasi I (G1). Sejumlah 4000 benih ukuran 2-3 cm yang dibesarkan di tambak telah dipanen dengan total biomassa panen sekitar 350 kg. Kelompok Ibu PKK Desa Lalonggolosua telah memproduksi abon, dampo, dan ikan kering berbahan dasar ikan nila. Ikan nila konsumsi dan produk olahan tersebut telah dikemas dan dipasarkan secara lokal. Kegiatan produksi benih ikan nila monoseks jantan, pembesaran di tambak, serta produksi produk olahan ikan nila terus berlangsung hingga saat ini sehingga ke depan diharapkan budidaya ikan nila di Desa Lalonggolosua dapat berkontribusi dalam peningkatan produksi ikan nila nasional.

Abstract

Sarabba adalah minuman tradisional khas Makassar yang awalnya berbentuk cair. Melalui inovasi, sarabba dimodifikasi menjadi bentuk bubuk untuk memperpanjang umur simpan dan memperluas peluang pemasaran. Diversifikasi ini menghasilkan produk sarabba berbahan dasar rumput laut yang kaya serat dan bernilai tambah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Strategi Pemasaran Perikanan dan Pemasaran Digital Perikanan. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi pembuatan sarabba rumput laut dalam bentuk bubuk, diikuti dengan pelatihan pemasaran produk. Sebanyak 29 mahasiswa berpartisipasi, dibagi menjadi empat kelompok. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mampu memproduksi sarabba rumput laut secara mandiri dan memasarkan produk tersebut kepada konsumen, termasuk berpartisipasi dalam pameran Pasar Tani. Kegiatan ini berhasil menumbuhkan keterampilan kewirausahaan di kalangan mahasiswa.

Abstract

The fisheries sector is a sector that has a contribution to economic development in Indonesia, this can be seen from the increase in fishery production which continues to increase from year to year. One area that has a high level of enthusiasm in fishery economic activity is Barrang Ca'di Island with the traditional system of hand line fishing on Barrang Caddi Island resulting in the inability to access fishing locations due to one of the cruising capabilities of the fleet and production costs that must be incurred by hand line fishermen, the fisherman also still maintains the pattern of economic system patterns in fishing activities as a reference material in living their daily lives, based on this the purpose of this study is to determine the level of income for production activities and the level of business feasibility of hand line fishermen for fishing. developed on Barrang Ca'di Island. The results of the study obtained the amount of income from the fishing line business, which was Rp. 88,358,140, - and showed that the line fishing business carried out by fishermen on Barrang Caddi Island was feasible to be developed with the division between revenue and costs having a value of more than one (>1 ).

Abstract

In general, coastal communities in Tanete Riattang Timur Subdistrict in fulfilling their daily needs work in the marine and fisheries sector. The most widely used fishing gear is the Purse Seine and has constraints both in terms of finance, technology and business competition, the purse seine fishing community still maintains patterns of the economic system in fishing activities as a reference material in living their daily lives so that the purse fishing business The seine needs to be calculated for its financial feasibility to determine its sustainability in the future. In general, this study aims to determine the level of income from production activities and the level of business feasibility of purse seine fishermen to be developed in Tanete Riattang Timur District. This research was conducted from April to May 2021. In this study, the method used is descriptive quantitative with data analysis using income analysis = TR – TC and Business Feasibility Analysis with the formula Net B/C ratio = NVP(+)/NVP( -). The purse seine business unit has a Net B/C value greater than 1 (3.90 > 1) which is obtained from the Nvp (+) value divided by the Nvp (-) value, the purse seine business unit has an Npv value of 4,034,338,574 and the interest rate of return bank (IRR) of 86%. this means that the purse seine fishing business is feasible to carry out and continue.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much is incurred for the cost of education of fishermen's children before and during online learning and what percentage of spending is incurred on the education costs of fishermen's children from the total expenditure of fishermen's households. This research was carried out on December 10, 2020-11 Pktober 2021 in Borimasunggu Village of Maros Regency. The sampling method in this study was Purposive sampling. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive analysis by calculating the amount of income and expenditure by tabulating the data as well as the applicable analysis. Calculating the amount of fishermen's expenditure by summing up total food and non-food expenditures from before the pandemic and during the Covid-19 pandemic then analyzed the percentage of expenditures for education costs for fishermen's children with a percentage of 13.44% before the enactment of the online learning system and 7.25% during its enactment with learning methods used through gadgets with the WhatsApp application carried out by teachers to students who participated in activities. Abstract

The development of the business world is growing and the type of business is growing because most individuals choose to open their own businesses, especially in the field of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) because they do not require large capital. Benteng Village is one of the areas where there are product processing business activities by utilizing seaweed fishery resources (E.Cattoni/K.Alvareii) as one of the raw materials. Seaweed E. Cattoni is one type of seaweed that can be used in various food and beverage products because it has properties that do not reduce the delicacy of food, in addition, E. cottoni seaweed is known as a source of fiber so that it can be used in making crackers. . Crackers are one of the snacks that are consumed as a snack or as a complementary food to regular meals. The purpose of this study is to determine the cost of goods sold in seaweed cracker business X. To achieve this goal, the survey method is used, where survey research is research that takes samples from a population in the field by conducting direct observations at the research site, through interviews and interviews. observation of respondents and using questionnaires as a data collection tool that had been prepared in advance by the researcher. The results of this study indicate that the calculation of the cost of goods sold in the seaweed cracker business X obtained results of Rp. 10,000/product and the cost of production of Rp. 4,171/product so that the profit per product is Rp. 5,829.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much work time the fishing gear craftsmen work in the Tellu Siattinge District and to determine the factors that influence the working time of the trap fishing gear craftsmen in Tellu Siattinge District. This research was conducted from May to June 2021 in Tellu Siattinge District, Bone Regency. The type of research used is a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sampling technique used is proportional sampling. The data analysis of working time is carried out by calculating the amount of time spent by craftsmen and using tabulated primary data, while the factors that affect the work time use multiple linear analysis and statistical tests. From the results of the study, it was found that the working time of frame makers was 0.63 HKP/day, netting craftsmen were 0.25 HKP/day and bottom net makers were 0.34 HKP/day. The factors of wages, age, education and work experience simultaneously have a significant effect on the working time of fishing gear craftsmen in Tellu Siattinge District. Partially, the wage factor and work experience have a significant effect, while the age and education factors have no significant effect on the workload of fishing gear craftsmen in Tellu Siattinge District.
