Abstract

Tarakan City is one of the areas that has considerable fishery potential, one of which is mud crabs, based on the results of a survey in 2018 Tarakan City has exported 4,500 tons of mud crabs per year. This encourages the emergence of mangrove crab fishing as a side business that can increase people's income and welfare. The purpose of this study was to analyze the costs, revenues, revenues and business feasibility and marketing of mud crabs. This research was conducted from March to April 2021. The method used was descriptive qualitative and quantitative using a questionnaire. The sampling method used is the cluster sampling method with a total sample of 36 people, consisting of 25 mud crab catchers, 6 collectors, 3 small traders and 2 large traders. Analysis of the data used is profit analysis and marketing analysis. The results showed that the profit of the mud crab catcher was IDR 5,796,296 per month with an income of IDR 8,375,600 per month and a total cost of IDR 2,579,305 per month, with an R/C value of 3.25 or feasible to run. The highest marketing margin is found in the marketing agency of collecting traders, which is IDR 20,000 and the lowest margin is found in marketing channel 1 at the small and large trader institution of IDR 10,000. The highest marketing costs incurred by marketing agencies are in marketing channel 3, which is IDR 34,436, the most efficient marketing agency is small traders in marketing channel 1 with an average marketing efficiency value of 0.03%.

Abstract

In general, coastal communities in Tanete Riattang Timur Subdistrict in fulfilling their daily needs work in the marine and fisheries sector. The most widely used fishing gear is the Purse Seine and has constraints both in terms of finance, technology and business competition, the purse seine fishing community still maintains patterns of the economic system in fishing activities as a reference material in living their daily lives so that the purse fishing business The seine needs to be calculated for its financial feasibility to determine its sustainability in the future. In general, this study aims to determine the level of income from production activities and the level of business feasibility of purse seine fishermen to be developed in Tanete Riattang Timur District. This research was conducted from April to May 2021. In this study, the method used is descriptive quantitative with data analysis using income analysis = TR – TC and Business Feasibility Analysis with the formula Net B/C ratio = NVP(+)/NVP( -). The purse seine business unit has a Net B/C value greater than 1 (3.90 > 1) which is obtained from the Nvp (+) value divided by the Nvp (-) value, the purse seine business unit has an Npv value of 4,034,338,574 and the interest rate of return bank (IRR) of 86%. this means that the purse seine fishing business is feasible to carry out and continue.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the active role of the Department of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of Takalar Regency, in supporting the process of the occurrence of Fisherman's Insurance that has been implemented by the central government, and to find out what factors hinder and support fishermen in obtaining Fisherman's Insurance cards. As for the determination of respondents using the Snowball technique or known as a snowball. Selected informants based on the criteria for receiving fisherman insurance cards as many as 25 informants as primary data sources. Data collection techniques are observation, distribution of questionnaires and interviews. This research was carried out in Sampulungan Village, Galesong District, Takalar Regency in March-May 2021. From the results of the research the socialization process planned and carried out by the Marine and Fisheries Service assisted by village officials was very effective in encouraging the enthusiasm of fishermen to obtain information and become insurance members fishermen, the supporting factors for implementing fisherman insurance consist of; High commitment from DKP Takalar Regency in realizing fishermen's insurance, enthusiasm of fishermen in obtaining information and being participants in fisherman insurance from the government, as well as high support from the village government in socializing and implementing fisherman insurance in Sampulungan Village. While the inhibiting factor is that there are still many fishermen who do not understand well the importance of being a member of fishermen's insurance; The existence of administrative data collection that has not been completed, including multiple lists, as well as the issue of validity of the fisherman's insurance card, which is only valid for one year, is considered short for fishermen.

Abstract

Punaga Village is one of the seaweed industrial areas in South Sulawesi whose seaweed development is spread throughout the sub-districts. With total production according to the KKP in 2020, Indonesian seaweed production is 11.55 million tons and one of the largest contributors is in Takalar Regency. This encourages an increase in the income of seaweed farmers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the profits of cultivators and the marketing of seaweed. This research was conducted from June to July 2021. The method used was quantitative and qualitative descriptive using a questionnaire. The sampling method used is the cluster sampling method with a total sample of 25 people consisting of 23 cultivators and 2 traders. Analysis of the data used is profit analysis and marketing analysis. The results showed that the profit for wet type seaweed cultivators was Rp. 875,334. per month and dry type of seaweed Rp. 26,271,048 per month with revenue for wet type seaweed Rp. 3,206,786 per month and the dry type is Rp. 28,602,500 per month, the total cost is Rp. 2,331,452 per month. The highest marketing margin is found in the marketing agency of collectors with the type of wet grass of Rp. 1,000/Kg and dry type Rp. 6,000/Kg. There are 2 marketing channels in the seaweed marketing chain in Punaga Village. The most efficient marketing institutions are traders with a value of 0.23% for wet seaweed and 0.01% for dry seaweed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the variable factors that influence consumer decisions and the dominant factors influencing the purchase of consumption fish at PPI Lonrae, Bone Regency. The research was carried out in December 2021 in Bone Regency. Determination of respondents using Accidental Sampling technique with a total sample of 96 respondents. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data and then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, t test and F test. From the results of the study it was found that prices, tastes and consumer income affect consumer purchasing decisions in choosing consumption fish at PPI Lonrae. The result of the coefficient of determination is 0.985, which means that 98.5% of consumption fish purchasing decisions are influenced by the variables Price (X1), Taste (X2), Fish Quality (X3) and Consumer Income (X4). While the remaining 1.5% is influenced by other factors that are not included in the regression model but can also influence respondents in purchasing decisions for consumption fish. The results of the F test show that the variables of price, taste, fish quality and consumer income together have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. The results of the t-test indicate that the variables of price, taste, and consumer income partially have a significant effect on purchasing decisions.
