Abstract

In the 2024 general elections, the role of social media is very significant. The General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) as an institution tasked with overseeing the implementation of elections, has a big responsibility in providing education to the public to prevent violations that could occur. This study aims to explore and understand the strategies implemented by Bawaslu Surabaya City in preventing election violations. The method used in this research is qualitative with a filed research approach. Data processing and presentation are carried out through qualitative analysis techniques, which include interpretation, description, management, and interpretation of research results as a representation of the characteristics or description of certain phenomena related to the problem under study. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and document studies. In this research, the author refers to the theory of democratic elections and supervision theory. The results showed that the Surabaya City Bawaslu utilized social media as a tool to support supervision in an effort to prevent election violations. However, the implementation is still not optimal because there are still obstacles that need to be reviewed.

Abstract

Kanigaran District, Probolinggo City experiences significant challenges in managing ASN human resources, especially related to the limited number of employees and existing facilities. With only 33 employees serving more than 62,000 residents, the quality of public services is affected. This problem prompted this study to explore the influence of leadership style and work culture on employee performance, with motivation as a mediating variable. The purpose of this study is to fill the existing research gap and provide new insights into how leadership style and work culture affect employee performance in Kanigaran District. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design, where data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using SmartPLS software to test the relationship between variables. The results of the study indicate that leadership style and work culture have a significant influence on employee motivation, which in turn has a positive effect on employee performance. This study is expected to contribute to the development of managerial policies and performance improvement strategies at the sub-district level.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Pegadaian Syariah Sampang Kota Branch aims to find out how the influence of the work environment and career development on employee performance at PT. Sharia Pawnshop Sampang Kota Branch through its commitment to organization, this research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. Explanatory research is research that explains the causal relationship between variables in research through hypothesis testing. The population in this study is as many as 50 employees at PT. Sharia Pawnshop Sampang Kota Branch. The sample in this study was taken by the purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique uses PLS (Partial Least Square) structural equation modeling analysis with the SmartPLS program version 3.4. using validity and reliability tests. The results of this study suggest that the work environment, career development, and organizational commitment affect employee performance. Work Environment, career development affects the Organization's Commitment. The Work Environment has an indirect effect through the Organization's Commitment to Employee Performance. Career development has an indirect effect through Organizational Commitment to Employee Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of workload and work environment on employee performance, and explore the role of work culture as a mediator at PT. Pegadaian Regional Office XII Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population is 664 employees and the sample is 244 employees selected through a multistage sampling technique, which combines proportional cluster random sampling and purposive sampling. The results of the study indicate that workload and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance. Although work culture has a significant effect on employee performance, work culture does not mediate the effect of workload on performance. Work culture successfully mediates the effect of work environment on employee performance. This finding implies that good workload management and the creation of a conducive work environment can improve employee performance, with a strong work culture as an important factor in mediating the effect of work environment.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of gold investment at Pegadaian on the income of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Ngawi area, East Java and identify what factors influence MSMEs in utilizing gold investment services at Pegadaian Ngawi, as well as what efforts can be made. carried out to increase the participation of MSMEs in gold investment. Data was collected through interviews, observations, documentation and observation. Data analysis is carried out using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Data validity methods use theoretical triangulation, data source triangulation, method triangulation, time triangulation and inter-researcher triangulation. The research results show that PT. Pegadaian (Persero) in Ngawi Regency, East Java, has had a positive impact on MSMEs through gold pawning services, which facilitate access to capital and support local economic growth. Apart from that, Pegadaian also increases financial literacy through education, helping MSMEs understand gold investment. However, MSME participation is still limited due to low financial awareness and accessibility. To overcome this, it is necessary to carry out intensive education, increase access to technology, and transparency in the investment process. This step is expected to make Pegadaian an agent of change for economic growth and financial independence of MSMEs in Ngawi.

Abstract

Every government agency has goals to be achieved by utilizing the human resources owned and managed effectively and efficiently, the human resources owned are required to work professionally, have good motivation, good work culture, good work discipline and good performance. This research aims to determine the influence of motivation, work culture and work discipline on employee performance at the Probolinggo Regional Education Office Branch. Data collection methods by distributing questionnaires, documentation and collecting primary and secondary data. The population and sample of this research were employees of the Probolinggo Regional Education Office Branch totaling 32 respondents. Hypothesis testing in this research uses validity test analysis, reliability test and path analysis test. This research data analysis is assisted by the SmartPLS 4.1.0.6 application. The results of this research show that motivation has no significant effect directly on employee performance. Work culture has no significant effect directly on employee performance. Motivation has a significant effect directly on work discipline. Work culture has no significant effect directly on work discipline. Work discipline has no significant effect directly on employee performance. Motivation has no significant indirect effect on employee performance through work discipline. Work culture has no significant indirect effect on employee performance through work discipline.

Abstract

Service optimization of health workers is maximizing health workers service in give health care to patient. Health care is directly or indirectly activity which produce health services in accordance with community needs to overcome their health problems. Health service quality as consistent patient satisfaction by providing efficacious, effective and efficient health services in accordance with the latest clinical guidelines and standards, which fulfill patient needs and satisfy service providers. Service quality approach that is often used as a reference is the quality model with the SERVEQUAL (Service Quality) method which can be used to determine service quality. This model was developed with five dimensions of service quality, such as tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with case studies. The collected data analyzed using descriptive methods. Based on results data collection with patient, patient family, health workers and management, AMC Clinic has succeeded in fulfilling the reliability, responsiveness and assurance dimensions very well. This can be shown by the satisfied informant about received health care by the patient and the patient's family. The empathy dimension still needs to be optimized again by periodically monitoring the patient's condition.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of competence and communication with commitment as an intervening variable on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Kejayan, Pasuruan Regency. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kejayan, Pasuruan Regency with a sample of 60 teachers with a saturated sampling method, which is to make the entire population as a sample. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to teachers. The data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis with partial least square. Based on the results of the analysis, the sample of this study found that competence had a positive but not significant effect on teacher performance and commitment; communication had a positive but not significant effect on teacher performance but had a significant positive effect on commitment; while commitment had a significant negative effect on teacher performance. Meanwhile, the commitment to mediate the influence of competence and communication mediating negatively is not significant to teacher performance.

Abstract

The purpose of conducting this research is to prove and analyze the direct and indirect influence commitment and competence towards performance through teacher motivation at SMK Negeri 1 Pungging, Mojokerto City. This type of research is explanatory using quantitative methods. The population in this study were 120 teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Pungging using the slovin technique so that a sample of 92 was obtained. The data analysis technique was because it used Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study show that commitment is in the good category, competence are in the good category, performance is in the good category and teacher work motivation is in the good category. Commitment has a significant positive effect on performance. Competence have a no significant positive effect on performance. Commitment has a significant positive effect on teacher work motivation. Competence have a significant positive effect on teacher work motivation. Motivation has no significant positive effect on the teacher performance of SMK Negeri 1 Pungging, Mojokerto City Commitment has no significant positive effect on the performance through teacher motivation at SMK Negeri 1 Pungging, Mojokerto City. Competence has no significant positive effect on the performance through teacher work motivation at SMK Negeri 1 Pungging, Mojokerto City.

Abstract

In 2023, PT Pegadaian Area Probolinggo will have good performance by achieving the 3rd best Key Performance Indicator (KPI) ranking in the XII Surabaya Regional Office. In achieving this good performance, the leadership style of the leaders at PT Pegadaian Area Probolinggo is felt to have a strong influence. Apart from that, the compensation received by PT Pegadaian Area Probolinggo employees also increases along with the employee's good performance. These two things can influence employee motivation in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, which in the end can influence employee performance in achieving targets set by the Company. The general aim of this research is to prove and analyze the influence of leadership style and compensation on employee performance through motivation. The analytical tool used is path analysis with a sample of 126, all of whom are employees of PT Pegadaian Area Probolinggo. After the analysis was carried out, it was found that all seven hypotheses proposed were acceptable and proven to be true. This means that leadership style and compensation have a significant effect on employee performance through motivation.
