Abstract

Cipasung Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic boarding schools in Cipakat Village, Singaparna District, Tasikmalaya Regency. As the number of students and residents increases, the amount of waste generated also increases. Currently, what needs to be done is not to be hostile to waste, but to find a way to speed up the waste decomposition process and utilize waste that can still be recycled. Therefore, it is necessary to design a waste shredder machine, considering one of the concepts, namely Frugal Innovation. The results of the waste shredder machine have a waste shredding capacity specification of 100 kg/hour, the waste shredding process is carried out through a drive transmission using a 4.0 hp 118 cc 3,600 rpm satoo gasoline motor with 12 dynamic blades, used drum container, wheels and shift levers. With a total price of the waste shredder machine of IDR 6,458,000. The results of the analysis of the design machine have advantages in terms of price and the addition of wheel and lever features, compared to machines on the market.

Abstract

Run Out is a defect where the tire rotation position is out of the center line position. The cause of this defect is the most complicated and difficult to identify, because various sources of problems influence the occurrence of this defect. Anticipating the occurrence of Defect Run Out is carried out through improvement stages based on the six sigma program with a focus on its implementation being carried out continuously throughout 4M+1H. The initial step in the Six Sigma process is Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) which is a structured procedure to identify and prevent as many failure modes as possible with the methodology used including research and descriptive data collection. Data analysis carried out revealed 76 possible potential failures, based on the highest RPN value, it appeared that there were 26 most dominant causes of failure. The highest values are grouped into 3 categories, this is to simplify the improvement and sampling process. After the analysis and improvement process was carried out, the defect condition decreased slightly, amounting to 47.2% and improvements will continue to be made to achieve the lowest defect value.

Abstract

The Mila Karmila Rice Milling Factory is one of the rice milling factories in the Leuwisari sub-district, Tasikmalaya district. This factory has been established since 2011. With weekly production reaching 16 tons. The Mila Karmila factory also has its own market which orders every week. With this production amount, it turns out that the Mila Karmila Milling Factory is still not optimal, especially in terms of profits. There are many unexpected costs, which cause waste in the production process. The aim of this research is to determine the business performance of the Mila Karmila rice milling factory and provide suggestions for how to evaluate its business performance. The method used in this research is the Balanced Scorecard method. The results of the research are an explanation of the current business performance of the Mila Karmila rice milling factory and suggestions for how to evaluate it in the future.

Abstract

KKB STT Cipasung, is one of the cooperatives in Tasikmalaya Regency. So far, the cooperative has experienced several problems, including lost savings books, differences in the data on the version of the savings book held by members and savings data in the cooperative, and the difficulty of making financial reports. Based on this, a website-based cooperative information system was designed using the SDLC Waterfall method. The results of designing a cooperative information system can be accessed by members anytime and anywhere as long as they have a cellphone or computer with internet access. The savings data seen by members is always the same as the data held by the management. Financial reports can be automatically created after all transactions are input and can be checked in real time.

Abstract

The process of reciting the Koran is an activity that is often carried out by Muslims to read and practice the Al-Quran. The process of reciting the Koran and blind reading of the Koran is currently still lacking and is considered high so there must be changes or improvements in the process of learning to recite the Koran. So this research aims to develop an Android-based LearningNgaji application with the Extreme Programming development method using the .NET MAUI framework by applying the MVVM pattern. The result of this research is an Android-based BelajarNgaji application which includes a process page for managing user data, selecting a Koran recitation session, approving a Koran recitation session, and conducting a Koran recitation session, thus helping with problems in the Koran recitation process and making it easier for users to learn the Koran.

Abstract

The agricultural sector in Indonesia plays an important role in the country's economy, but farmers often face various challenges in managing their farmland. One solution is to integrate technologies, such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), to provide more precise and efficient information. This research aims to develop a chatbot-based Agricultural Assistant system that can assist farmers in managing agricultural activities. The system provides features such as weather forecasts, fertilization guides, plant recommendations, and pest and disease management. The method used in this study is software development with a Scrum approach, which allows for rapid iteration and effective collaboration in system development. Abstract

This study assessed climate classification, hydrological conditions, and agricultural vulnerabilities in Pangkalpinang City, Bangka Belitung Province, Indonesia, using a 65-year (1959-2024) daily meteorological dataset. Climate classification revealed a dominant Af (Tropical Rainforest) type by the Köppen-Geiger method (occurring in 56 out of 66 years) with high precision (0.89-1.0) and a C1'As (perhumid mesothermal) classification predominating according to Thornthwaite (64 out of 66 years). Trend analysis showed a likely not significant temperature increase (approximately +0.02°C/year) and shifting precipitation patterns, with mean annual rainfall at 2289.84 mm and an annual precipitation concentration index (PCI) of 8.924, indicating a moderately irregular rainfall distribution. Hydrological analysis showed an average potential evapotranspiration (PET) of 0.284 mm, a soil moisture content of 99.751 mm, an average surface runoff of 4.577 mm, and 51 annual flood risk events, exhibiting a humid regime. Mean crop water requirement (CWR) was 4.857 relative units, and we observed a strong positive correlation (r=0.969) between the water requirement satisfaction index (WRSI) and crop water needs. The model validation exhibited a root mean square error (RMSE) between 0.1-0.5 and showed a stable Thornthwaite classification even with perturbations and the time series data analysis revealed the variability of parameters and a shift in temperature around the year 2000. These results emphasize the urgent need for localized climate adaptation strategies in Pangkalpinang.

Abstract

Maintenance is an action to repair or prevent machine damage. Smooth production processes are demands that must be met so that company targets can be achieved. This happens due to damage to the machine or waiting for the ordered unit/parts to arrive to replace the damaged spare part. As a result, the agreed product completion time is not met. This study was conducted on the Sludge Separator machine by calculating the value of the damage rate function, the reliability function of critical components during production under certain conditions and periods. The data collected are data on the use of spare part damage data throughout 2021 and 2022 and the purchase price per unit of spare parts, therefore, to solve this problem, planned maintenance (corrective maintenance) is needed with a reliability approach. The data is processed using the reliability method by applying the Weibull distribution damage rate function to determine the amount of critical component inventory over a period of two years. The results of the study show that critical components are distributed Weibull. Based on the critical components that have been determined by the Weibull method over a period of two years for each critical component is the Bowl Spindle component as many as 3 units of optimal order (Q*) = 1 unit/order reorder point (r) = 1 unit) paring Disc as many as 2 units (Q* = 1 unit/order, r = 1 unit) 2.6546, Friction Pad & Screw as many as 4 units (Q* = 3 units/order, r = 1 unit) = 1.5576 V Nozzle Q 1.60 mm 3 units (Q* = 1 unit/order, r = 1 unit) = 2.0970.

Abstract

Tasbar was founded by Enung Nurjanah which produces snacks, namely molring, located in Leuwisari District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Tasbar experienced a problem, namely delays in producing molrings due to not estimating how much time it would take to produce an order when the order was finished and could be sent to the customer. This resulted in a 21% decrease in customers. Therefore, the method used is a moving average to predict the production planning process in inventory management. As a result, 160 kg of product can be produced per month, material for inventory management to respond to demand patterns, so that it can be used as a reference for make to stock production.

Abstract

Case study analysis of Maggot Al-Muttahid, a maggot cultivation business in Tasikmalaya City, shows its strategic role in reducing organic waste and improving the local economy in the agro-industrial sector. The city of Tasikmalaya faces serious challenges in managing organic waste, which encourages the search for sustainable solutions. One method that is increasingly recognized for its potential is the cultivation of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggots. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of BSF maggot cultivation in overcoming organic waste problems in the region, as well as assessing its contribution to increasing added value in the agro-industrial value chain. By using a value chain analysis approach and the Hayami added value calculation method, this research measures the economic contribution of the cultivation process. The research results show that BSF maggot cultivation is capable of bioconverting around 1,875 kg of organic waste in each cycle, which is converted into 75 kg of maggots. The resulting added value reached IDR 179.38 per kilogram with a value added ratio of 95.81%, indicating significant economic potential from this process.
