Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Delivery Force Automation (DFA) in improving warehouse performance at PT. Panca Pilar Tangguh Aceh. DFA is an automation solution designed to optimize warehouse management and goods distribution, with the goal of enhancing operational efficiency and accuracy in processes such as picking, packing, and shipping. As market demand increases, the company faces challenges in reducing human error and speeding up delivery times. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth analysis through observation, interviews, and literature review. The results indicate that the implementation of DFA successfully improved warehouse operational efficiency, reduced human errors, sped up deliveries, and lowered operational costs. Furthermore, the system contributed to better and more accurate stock management, which positively impacted customer satisfaction and the company’s competitiveness. These findings provide practical guidance for companies in leveraging automation technology to address operational challenges and enhance overall performance.

Abstract

The student data management system at SMP Negeri 9 Banda Aceh is currently still conducted manually. The process of data processing with the existing system is considered to have many shortcomings. The use of paper and Microsoft Excel in the current system makes student data prone to being lost or damaged. Therefore, the development of a web-based information system is expected to improve the speed and quality of information delivery. In this system, the main menu can only be accessed by specific users, namely the teachers. In addition to explaining the theoretical background underlying the system design, the author will also discuss the design of the web-based information system using PHP and MySQL. The design of the web-based application system will facilitate accessibility through an internet connection and improve the management of student data more effectively.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology worldwide has led to the emergence of new innovations in information systems, including web-based village information systems. Beurawe Village, as part of an administrative region, requires a more efficient and accessible platform for disseminating news and public information. In response to this need, the purpose of this study is to design a website for the Beurawe Village Office to support the community in accessing information more effectively. The main issues addressed include the design of a web-based information system for village administration and the structured management of data and communication. The system aims to improve the delivery of information that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. This study applies observation, literature review, and interviews as its primary research methods. The website is developed using the CodeIgniter framework and programmed in PHP.

Abstract

The development of information technology has had a significant impact on the education sector, especially in library management. The E-Pemustaka application implemented at MIN 45 Aceh Besar aims to facilitate access to library services. This study measures user satisfaction with the E-Pemustaka application using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method. EUCS evaluates satisfaction through five dimensions: system quality, information quality, service quality, system impact, and ease of use. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, and observations from 100 respondents, including students, teachers, and library staff. The results show that most users are satisfied with the ease of searching for books, the speed of borrowing transactions, and the simple interface of the application. However, some issues, such as inaccurate return date recording and suboptimal book search, need to be addressed. This study provides recommendations for improvement, such as enhancing data accuracy and adding features that meet the users' needs. The E-Pemustaka application is expected to be more effective in supporting library activities and improving user experience in the future.

Abstract

Manual attendance methods are still commonly used in university settings and often lead to several problems, such as delayed record-keeping, data inaccuracies, and time-consuming recap processes. To overcome these issues, a web-based attendance system was developed using barcode scanning via smartphones. The system was designed using the Spiral model, allowing for gradual development and adaptation to user requirements. The design process involved direct observation and interviews with academic staff to understand the existing workflow. The application consists of two main components: a desktop application for data input and management, and an Android application that allows students to scan barcodes as proof of attendance. All scanned data is automatically stored in a local database via a Wi-Fi network. Testing was carried out using the blackbox method to ensure that all features functioned as intended. The results showed that the system increased recording speed, reduced errors, and simplified the generation of attendance reports. A simple user interface also made the system easy to operate without the need for special training. This system offers a practical solution to support a more efficient and organized academic administration process.
