Abstract

: Managing social assistance recipient data is a critical element in ensuring targeted and accurate aid distribution. This study aims to develop and design a computer-based information system to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in managing social assistance recipient data in Meureudu Subdistrict. The system was developed using the waterfall approach and software tools such as Microsoft Access 2007 and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. The development process involved needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The resulting system includes features such as login, main menu, user and recipient data input forms, data search, and structured report output. The application of normalization methods in the database ensures data is stored accurately and free from duplication. The system is also equipped with criteria-based data search features, enabling users to easily retrieve recipient information. With an intuitive and professional user interface design, this system supports improved decision-making and ensures transparency in aid distribution. The findings indicate that the system has the potential to serve as a model for social assistance management in other regions.

Abstract

Data on regional potential plays a crucial role in decision-making processes related to regional development. The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) is responsible for collecting and processing data concerning natural resources, socio-economic conditions, and infrastructure in various regions. However, at BPS Pidie Regency, challenges remain in processing regional potential data, particularly in terms of efficiency and accuracy. The manual processes, combined with limited tools, pose significant obstacles to expediting data processing. Consequently, the development of the Regional Potential Information System (SIPW) has been identified as a solution to these issues. SIPW aims to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data processing by utilizing current information technology. With SIPW, the processing of regional potential data can be automated and integrated, thereby reducing the errors common in manual methods. Furthermore, SIPW provides policymakers with quick, easy, and accurate access to data, thereby supporting more effective development planning. This study aims to develop and evaluate the implementation of SIPW at BPS Pidie Regency and assess its impact on the efficiency and accuracy of regional potential data processing. It is anticipated that SIPW will serve as an effective tool for formulating data-driven policies, ultimately fostering more targeted and efficient regional progress.

Abstract

MIN 40 Aceh Besar is an Islamic education school under the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, located in Desa Punie, Darul Imarah District, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Province. The current information system used is simple, relying on a manual registration book for new student admissions. This process is inefficient, and the storage of documents is poorly organized, leading to data repetition across multiple files due to unstructured procedures. This study employs a system development methodology for designing a web-based decision support system for new student admissions. Data collection is done through literature review, observation, and interviews. The system is developed using HTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript, with an integrated database. The system aims to streamline data management and improve the completeness of student identity information, thus facilitating smoother data circulation. By connecting the data directly to the database, staff can easily manage student identity information and registration payments. The system’s implementation shows time efficiency in data entry, reporting, and monitoring. The outputs produced by the system include student registration reports, parent/guardian identity reports, and payment invoices, which help save time, reduce data entry errors, and simplify the search for student identity data.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to implement the use of AppYourself to create an Instant Store that can be used in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Industry in Aceh Province. The Software Development Life Cycle method used is IDI. IDI is a combination of iterative design / iterative method and incremental build model that is used for software development. Testing and measurement based on usability level using the People at the Center of Mobile Application Development (PACMAD) model based on its seven aspects. This research uses Performance Measurement, SUS Questionnaire, NASA-TLX Questionnaire, and RTA Questionnaire in data collection. The data was measured using usability metrics, statistical tests, and calculation formulas from the questionnaire. The results of this study have succeeded in making an application called InstantStore by involving several stages from data collection to testing. The results of the initial test or pre-evaluation and final testing or post-evaluation, it can be concluded that after an evaluation by designing a prototype of improvement recommendations using the rules of The 4 Golden Rules Of User Interface Design, there is a significant increase, based on the results of statistical tests on testing Pre-evaluation shows that there are significant differences between respondents in South Aceh Regency and Banda Aceh City on aspects of efficiency, memorability, satisfaction, and cognitive load. In addition to the aspects of effectiveness, learnability, and errors there is no significant difference between respondents. While the results obtained from statistical tests in the final test (post-evaluation) there are no differences between respondents to the seven aspects of the usability of the PACMAD model.

Abstract

The student data management system at SMP Negeri 9 Banda Aceh is currently still conducted manually. The process of data processing with the existing system is considered to have many shortcomings. The use of paper and Microsoft Excel in the current system makes student data prone to being lost or damaged. Therefore, the development of a web-based information system is expected to improve the speed and quality of information delivery. In this system, the main menu can only be accessed by specific users, namely the teachers. In addition to explaining the theoretical background underlying the system design, the author will also discuss the design of the web-based information system using PHP and MySQL. The design of the web-based application system will facilitate accessibility through an internet connection and improve the management of student data more effectively.
