Abstract

The research objective is to simulate and analyze existing algorithms developed previously using the NS-3 application, which affects the measurement of RTT, cwnd, and throughput, and to evaluate the performance of TCP New Reno based on topology and research parameters so that it is obtained specifically how to optimize RTT and throughput on wireless networks. at the Banda Aceh City coffee shop. The research method simulates and analyzes the development of the TCP New Reno algorithm on wireless network coding so that the results can be applied directly. The approach describes a variety of steps or techniques based on a certain distance in increasing throughput, controlling the congestion window (cwnd) and reducing RTO. The results of the study concluded that the use of the TCP New Reno algorithm on a wireless network for multi-hop ad-hoc topology (5 nodes) produced better values than single-hop (2 nodes). The TCP New Reno algorithm has a retransmit phase (at flow-1 and flow-2) which indicates that the slow start phase again starts, cwnd will effectively double (slowly add data) the size of the windows RTT (time) thereby reducing the loss of data packets. In general, strategies and techniques based on distance (6 m and 3 m) in achieving RTT optimization, the TCP New Reno's network strategy of 3 m is a good technique, especially in multi-hop.Keywords:TCP New Reno, RTT, Cwnd, Throughput, Coffee Shop

Abstract

This study describes the design of a web-based vehicle information system for Islamic Shariah services in Banda Aceh City. An issue under discussion is the use of computers in the design of vehicle asset information systems. The purpose of this study is to examine the use of vehicle asset information systems. Data collection was conducted through literature and field surveys by interviews and direct observation of the objects in question. Extreme programming techniques are used in system development. The following can be concluded from the created application program: 1) Vehicle Asset Information System of Islamic Shariah Service can quickly and efficiently view the vehicle asset data system according to existing data, so you can get timely vehicle asset data reports. 2) Implementation of asset vehicle information system in Islamic Shariah office will make data processing faster, more accurate and more efficient. 3) Applying asset vehicle information system in Islamic Shariah office facilitates data retrieval and greatly reduces human and financial resources.

Abstract

CV. Aceh Raya Banda Aceh is a company engaged in the contractor and supplier sector which has a large number of transactions both from purchasing and project management, but recording transactions that occur every day still uses the manual method, this sometimes makes financial reports with various types of transactions seem sluggish to the owner, the author only discusses the problem of the Financial Report Information System on the CV. Aceh Raya Banda Aceh using web-based. The research objective was to identify and design a financial reporting information system at CV. Aceh Raya Banda Aceh web-based. The collection of data needed in writing this research was obtained by two methods, namely literature studies related to library books and other scientific works, field studies by carrying out interviews and direct observation of objects related to this research as well as the system development method. used is the waterfall method. Financial Report Information System on CV. Aceh Raya Banda Aceh is carried out by one of the administrative staff and assisted by 2 (two) administrative staff in the field of administration to record and input transaction data. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the Financial Report Information System at CV. Aceh Raya Banda Aceh has followed the procedures and used a computer with a web-based programming language and MySQL as the database

Abstract

The Laboratory Equipment Management Information System (SIP Alat Lab) at SMK 1 Sigli aims to enhance efficiency and accuracy in managing laboratory tools. Previously, equipment management was conducted manually, which posed risks such as recording errors, equipment loss, and irregular maintenance. This study designs and develops a computer-based system to streamline the recording, borrowing, and maintenance of laboratory equipment. SIP Alat Lab integrates various functions, including equipment data recording, equipment condition monitoring, and usage report generation, allowing laboratory managers to handle resources more effectively. The research includes the system design phase, database creation, and system implementation in the SMK 1 Sigli laboratory. The findings indicate that the developed system accelerates administrative processes, reduces equipment loss, and improves overall equipment maintenance. System users, including laboratory staff and teachers, have provided positive feedback regarding its ease of use and the efficiency it brings. It is anticipated that this system can be adapted by other schools to improve the quality of laboratory equipment management.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an information system for the inventory management of science laboratory equipment at SMA Negeri 1 Mutiara, Pidie Regency. The current manual management of laboratory equipment is prone to errors in recording and inventory control. Therefore, the developed information system is expected to speed up and simplify the process of recording, borrowing, and returning equipment more efficiently. The system development method used is the prototyping method, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The system testing results show that the web-based application developed successfully facilitates the management of laboratory equipment, reduces human errors, and enhances operational efficiency. This system allows the laboratory staff to automatically record equipment, with integrated features for borrowing and returning equipment. The implementation of this information system is expected to make the management of laboratory equipment at SMA Negeri 1 Mutiara more transparent, organized, and effective.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Contract Employee Information System for the Banda Aceh Public Works Department, utilizing Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. In the pursuit of good governance, it is crucial to have a professional and qualified contract workforce to support the effective execution of official duties and public services. However, the department's current processes for data collection and management of contract employees face challenges regarding efficiency and effectiveness. Therefore, this research proposes a desktop-based information system designed to optimize these data collection and management processes. Data was gathered through fieldwork involving interviews and direct observation, supplemented by library research to ensure the validity and success of the study. The findings of this research are expected to positively impact the efficiency and effectiveness of contract employee management within the Banda Aceh Public Works Department

Abstract

The cooperative at the Mahkamah Syar'iyah Banda Aceh faces several challenges, one of which is the limited number of cooperative management personnel involved in developing cooperative business activities. The author identifies two main issues. First, from the perspective of cooperative members, there is difficulty in determining the amount of savings or loans, as the cooperative managers are not always present at the location. Second, from the perspective of the management, the bookkeeping process is still conducted manually. The purpose of this design is to provide easy access to information for members, such as the cooperative profile, savings balance, outstanding loans, and remaining installments. This system also aims to increase the trust of members towards the officers and to facilitate cooperative officers in generating more accurate and efficient reports. From the management side, the system provides access to an admin login page, home, master savings type, master member, savings transaction, loans, repayments, and savings reports. From the member's side, the system allows them to view the amount of their savings and loans. The web-based cooperative information system design at the Mahkamah Syariyah Banda Aceh utilizes fast web technologies for data processing, making reporting more efficient. This system is designed to facilitate data entry, data processing, and data storage, allowing easy access for various purposes such as data retrieval and reporting. The advantages of the Bahagia Bersama Cooperative program include its ability to generate savings reports, loan reports, and member lists.

Abstract

The Syariat Islam Office (DSI) of Banda Aceh plays a crucial role in supporting the strategic objectives of the Aceh Government in achieving its vision and mission. One of DSI’s primary tasks is to inventory the number of vehicle assets at the DSI office in Banda Aceh. The asset data is currently recorded manually in the form of archives and documents, and sometimes using Microsoft Excel. This process leads to inefficiencies in terms of space, security, time, and cost, making it difficult to retrieve the required vehicle asset data. Therefore, there is a need for the development of a Vehicle Asset Information System at the Syariat Islam Office. With this system, the vehicle asset data can be accessed anytime, anywhere, and from any computer. The system includes software requirements analysis, design, code generation, testing, and maintenance. This government vehicle asset management system is web-based, using MySQL as the storage medium and PHP as the programming language. The outcome of this system is the ability to process information related to vehicle assets, such as managing vehicle asset data comprehensively. Through this application, it is expected that staff will become more familiar with and utilize a more efficient information system.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology worldwide has led to the emergence of new innovations in information systems, including web-based village information systems. Beurawe Village, as part of an administrative region, requires a more efficient and accessible platform for disseminating news and public information. In response to this need, the purpose of this study is to design a website for the Beurawe Village Office to support the community in accessing information more effectively. The main issues addressed include the design of a web-based information system for village administration and the structured management of data and communication. The system aims to improve the delivery of information that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. This study applies observation, literature review, and interviews as its primary research methods. The website is developed using the CodeIgniter framework and programmed in PHP.

Abstract

Employee Information System is an essential data processing activity at PT. Waskita Karya, aims to increase the directness and accessibility of information about employees. This research focuses on analyzing problems related to employees and data management mechanisms at PT. Waskita Karya, by designing an Employee Data Collection Information System using the PHP and MySQL programming languages. The research objective involves an in-depth understanding of employee problems and data management at PT. Waskita Karya, with results in the form of developing applications supporting the Employee Information System using PHP and MySQL. Data collection methods were carried out through library studies involving literature from library books and other scientific works, and field studies using interviews and direct observation of research objects. The employee data collection process is carried out by an administrative staff member who is assisted by two administrative staff in the employee sector to record and input employee data. The research results show that the Employee Information System at PT. Waskita Karya has been implemented according to procedures using PHP and MySQL-based computer technology as a database. The research results show that the Employee Information System at PT. Waskita Karya Banda Aceh has succeeded in integrating appropriate operational procedures and utilizing computer-based technology with PHP and MySQL programming languages as the database backend.
