Abstract

The alumni association is an important organization in a higher education institution. Apart from being a forum for communication between graduates, alumni associations also play a major role in providing information related to career opportunities, as a medium for exchanging training information and knowledge. Informatics Study Program at UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur already has an alumni association called IKATIFA (Ikatan Alumni Teknik Informatika). Although there is already an IKATIFA information system, the website does not have a specific system regarding alumni information in the world of work. By utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) can present data specifically by using a map as an interface. In this research, alumni clustering was carried out using a fuzzy algorithm. There are 3 clusters, cluster 1 mean alumni work fields existing is according to study program competency, cluster 2 mean alumni work fields existing is almost according to study program competency, cluster 3 mean alumni work fields existing is not in accordance with study program competency. The test results on the testing data show that as many as 62% alumni work fields existing is according to study program competency, as many as 18% alumni work fields existing is almost according to study program competency, and as many as 20% alumni work fields existing is not in accordance with study program competency.

Abstract

For the selection of employees, there are usually many factors in fulfilling the assessment in order to get a maximum target. Especially in the field of call centers, it is required to have qualified skills which can solve problems complained of by customers. So that as a call center who receives incoming calls or can be called inbound calls, it must be the key to solving problems and be able to convey good suggestions. However, to get the value of the agent so that its performance is good, there are parameters that must be achieved, namely acd call, acd time, aux time, available time, staffed time and agent skill. best. By doing this, the monitoring system is very easy and more efficient to find out which agents are underperforming or agents who have reached the performance target. For this reason, an application with a case study was created in order to achieve the maximum target. This application will greatly help the team, namely Teamleader, Taber, Spv, Manager as they play an important role in evaluating agents in their performance.

Abstract

Robotics technology can be implemented into the elementary school curriculum with the presence of extracurricular robotics or better as robotics only. Robotics in students is taught to assemble and program simple robots packaged in robotics learning media. Robotics activities basically use wheelled robots but have different functions. With the basic assumption of the robot, we can reduce the cost of procurement by making a robot with one wheel but with various functions. The wheeled robot is portable, so it is easy to disassemble. Robotics activities in generaly uses an Arduino controller with the C programming language. Elementary school students have difficulty understanding the language. Ardublock as one of the easy and open-source solutions. This research focused on the working system of a wheeled robot with various features (line tracer, transporter, and wall tracking) as well as the success in using ardublock logic as the programming language of the robot. The results test show that the ardublock program can be used to program the Arduino controller on the robot. The wheeled robot with the line follower feature recorded a travel time of 6.0 seconds on a 200cm trajectory. The wheeled robot with a transporter feature on a 200 cm trajectory takes an average of 8.9 seconds with the success of lifting objects 7 times out of 10 attempts.

Abstract

There are many benefits to the use of high-strength reinforcement (above 500 MPa) in reinforced concrete buildings. The advantages of using high-strength reinforcement are reduction steel volume and dimension, reduced construction time, reduction in reinforcement congestion, as well as savings in materials and worker cost. Meanwhile, the investigation of ductility of reinforced concrete element with high-strength reinforcement to resist earthquake effects under current design procedure is needed. In the current standard, ACI 318-71, The maximum specified yield strength was restricted to 60 Ksi (413 MPa) for reinforcement in special seismic system. There were also no ASTM standard specifications for reinforcement with yield strength above 500 MPa. In the design of seismic resisting structures, the analysis of curavture ductility and flexural overstrength factor is of important consideration in order to avoid brittle failure. This paper attempts to anaylze the ductility and re-evaluate the flexural overstrength factor of reinforced concrete column. The tensile tests of steel reinforcement with yield strength above 500 MPa generates stress-strain curve. An idealisations for the monotonic stress-strain curve proposed by mander was adopted in this study. Whereas in this numerical study of confined concrete columns, the behavior of concrete cored is modeled by the stress-strain relationship of confined concrete proposed by Kappos-Konstantinidis. This stress strain model was used for the momen, curvature, ductility, and flexural overstrength factor analysis.

Abstract

The rockfall hazard in areas such as mountainous regions, quarries and mines needs to be well managed. This is essential in order to avoid fatalities, damage to infrastructure and production losses. Preventing all rockfall events is almost impossible, but the installation of rockfall protection systems is a common and effective way to control the hazard. The installation of wire-meshed net anchored is a possible solution to prevent slippage of landslide of the surface layers. This paper will be focused on the study of numerical modeling, using finite element analysis software, ABAQUS, of double-twisted hexagonal wire-meshed net anchoraged which has been developed by the French-based company, GTS. The objective is to analyze several configurations and performances of wire-meshed nets, cables. As final result, we will comparing between the experiment and numerical modeling analysis.

Abstract

Predicting the level of public health in an area is very important to know the development of public health in order to give consideration to local governments in making policies that can increase the level of health and health services for the community. So we need a system that is able to make predictions and describe the development of public health in the years to come. The data used in the study were the percentage of the population who had health complaints and outpatient treatment for a month, the percentage of households that had access to proper sanitation, the percentage of households that had access to decent drinking water sources, the percentage of poor people, the average length of schooling, infant mortality rate, number of health centers and life expectancy. Backpropagation neural network method is a method that is often used in forecasting or prediction. Where this method can identify activities based on past data. Past data will be studied by neural networks so that they have the ability to make decisions on data that has never been studied. This method is expected to provide a prediction of the level of health by studying data from previous years. The results of this study produced a predictive map of the level of public health in the East Java region in 2019, 2020 and 2021 based on the model obtained from the training results with an epoch of 100 and an MSE value of 0.0173254.
