Abstract

This research aims to develop an automatic palm fruit ripeness detection system using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm. The dataset used consists of thousands of images of ripe and unripe palm fruits with varying lighting conditions and shooting angles. The CNN model used is MobileNetV2 which has been adapted for binary classification tasks. The training process is performed using data augmentation techniques to improve the generalization of the model. The evaluation results show that the developed CNN model is able to classify the ripeness of palm fruits with an accuracy of 84%. Comparison with conventional methods that rely on visual assessment shows that the CNN model provides more consistent and objective results. The implementation of this model has the potential to increase the efficiency of the harvesting and processing of palm fruits and reduce production costs.

Abstract

Advances in medical technology have enabled the application of machine learning for disease classification, including monkeypox. Monkeypox is a zoonotic disease caused by the monkeypox virus and can be detected through patient data. This study aims to compare the performance of Support Vector Machine (SVM), k-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Naïve Bayes algorithms in building a monkeypox classification model. The dataset used consists of 25,000 patient records. The results show that the SVM model with a linear kernel achieved the best accuracy compared to KNN and Naïve Bayes. These findings demonstrate that the SVM model with a linear kernel is highly effective in classifying monkeypox, offering great potential for further medical applications.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, computerized systems have been used by many parties, both agencies, organizations and educational institutions. A computerized system is an information system that will design transaction data into useful information and aims to help make efficient decisions. However, at this time, PT. Surya Mandiri Motor does not yet use a computerized system, so errors often occur in recording, calculating transaction data, there are difficulties in searching for data and difficulties in making reports. This sales information system can be a solution that can simplify data processing so that the sales transaction process will be faster, more precise and accurate. This system was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database.

Abstract

CV. Surya Jaya Security System is a private company in the city of Medan that is engaged in the security system, which sells various brands of attendance machines, CCTV and accessories and doorstops, as well as various types of other security equipment. In doing work every day, it takes several employees who work together in completing the work of the customer. In one day, CV. SJSS can accept orders from several customers at once. Therefore, it is necessary to make arrangements for the formation of a work team (teamwork) to complete the work, so that all orders are completed on time and still maintain the quality of service from these employees. To carry out the process of grouping these employees, the data grouping method can be applied or often referred to as the clustering method. Density-Based Spatial Clustering Algorithm with Noise (DBSCAN) is one of the pioneering examples of the development of density-based clustering techniques or commonly known as density-based clustering. The result of this research is a website for the formation of teamwork by applying the DBSCAN method which is able to group employees, so as to improve employee performance.

Abstract

One of the tourist attractions from Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, which recently went viral is Nakny Funland. Nakny Funland is frequently visited by local tourists and tourists from outside the region, however currently Nakny Funland still uses the manual method in its system, namely by recording a book system in the process of recording ticket sales and financial reports so there is a high probability that errors can occur in entering data, errors in calculations. data on tickets sold, errors in making financial reports, and can hamper the search process for the data needed. Therefore, we need an accounting information system that can produce faster and more accurate information. The author will create a ticket sales accounting information system at Nakny Funland Tourism using Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 as software and MySQL as database to process the data. The purpose of creating this system is to assist the performance of officers and persons in charge at Nakny Funland Tourism in making the process of recording ticket sales and financial reports easier, faster, and more accurate, and can minimize errors in making records.

Abstract

Along with the times, information technology is experiencing increasingly rapid changes in various fields. As in trading business, information technology has provided many benefits in trading business. The problem with the Warristo Store is that there is no system that can assist employees in recording sales of goods, data collection, stock reports and sales reports. The solution to solving this problem is to design an information system that can make it easier for employees to do their work by using several programming applications. The results of the research conducted and the information system that has been designed are to help employees in the process of recording sales of goods, collecting goods data, transaction reports and sales reports easily and being able to convey information about the latest goods to consumers easily.

Abstract

Animated Literacy Learning is an animation that provides learning about literacy, specifically focusing on reading materials in the form of original data messages to its users. The reading literacy material includes learning letter recognition, reading skills, and reading exercises. This research aims to develop an application that can be used to enhance students' skills, particularly in reading. Additionally, the learning process with this application is expected to be more enjoyable and can further motivate users to learn, as it incorporates images, sounds, and animations. The objective of this learning application is to train and enhance students' literacy skills, as it also includes exercises to assess the students' proficiency level in the given teaching materials. The research methodology employed in this study includes literature review, data collection, needs analysis, system design, implementation, and evaluation. The final outcome of this research is an animated literacy learning video specifically designed for students at SD Negeri 101944 Deli Muda. It is anticipated that this video will increase students' interest and literacy skills while providing an enjoyable and interactive learning experience.

Abstract

Toko Anarman Store is a toy store that sells various kinds of toys, education, and home decor. This shop still uses a manual system for sales transactions, with the process of selling goods usually still written on notes and then summarized in a sales book. The seller must check each item individually and record the results in a book to determine the number of items in the store. Therefore this web-based Sales Information System is designed to assist the sales process at the store. The purpose of this system is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process. This system includes several important features which include product management, supplier management, and report printing. Product management includes adding, deleting, and updating product data available in the store. Printing includes printing sales reports, stock reports, consumer reports, and supplier reports. This information system is made using the Sublime Text 3 application while the programming language uses PHP, Xampp is used to run the web server, MySQL is used for database management. With this system, it is hoped that Anarman Store can improve operational efficiency and increase customer satisfaction. This system can also help in making better decisions based on accurate sales data.

Abstract

The Design and Information System of Report Card Grades at SMA Free Methodist is a research project aimed at developing an efficient and reliable information system for designing report card grades at SMA Free Methodist School. This information system is designed to automate the process of designing report card grades, which was previously done manually, thus saving time and effort for teachers in preparing and issuing report card grades, instead of using Microsoft Excel. The research methods employed in this study include literature review, data collection, needs analysis, system design, implementation, and evaluation. The research also involves the participation of teachers as respondents to evaluate the system's performance and provide feedback regarding desired features. The results of this research project yield a report card grade design information system that can assist teachers in efficiently and accurately preparing and issuing report card grades. The system incorporates features such as student data management, attendance tracking, extracurricular activities, class teacher notes, student self-descriptions, and report card printing. Additionally, the system is equipped with security features that ensure only authorized users (teachers) can access and modify the data.

Abstract

A savings and loan cooperative, the Satahi Marsiurupan Cooperative, located at Jalan Elang II No. 60 Perumnas Mandala Medan. The current savings and loan transaction system is still done manually. Cooperative management will be delayed due to manual data processing. The purpose of this research is to apply for a savings loan at the Satahi Marsiurupan Cooperative. The PHP programming language and MySQL database are used to create this web-based information system using structured programming techniques. This information system is provided to the Satahi Marsiurupan Cooperative to make it easier for members to receive information on savings and loan transactions from the management. As well as being able to provide solutions for speed, accuracy and accuracy in carrying out savings and loan data processing to obtain optimal results.
