Abstract

Stroke is a serious medical condition that can lead to permanent disability if not treated properly. Early identification of stroke symptoms is crucial in determining appropriate interventions, including alternative therapies such as foot reflexology massage. This study aims to analyze stroke symptoms within the context of reflexology massage practice using the Certainty Factor (CF) method. This method is applied to measure the confidence level of symptoms based on interviews with massage practitioners who independently provide therapy services. The results indicate that the CF method can provide a probabilistic analysis that aids in therapeutic decision-making. By understanding symptoms more accurately, reflexology massage can serve as a complementary approach in stroke patient care.

Abstract

The assessment system at SMK TI Budiagung still relies on conventional methods but has gradually shifted towards AI-based automated assessment. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of an automated assessment system using the Certainty Factor method in evaluating students objectively and accurately. The research methodology includes interviews with educators and an analysis of the implemented system. The findings indicate that automated assessment enhances efficiency in grading objective answers but faces challenges in evaluating subjective aspects such as creativity and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, the application of the Certainty Factor method allows the system to provide assessments based on calculated certainty levels from available data. The main challenge is ensuring valid and weighted data for more accurate evaluation results. With further development and integration into the learning system, automated assessment is expected to improve academic evaluation quality at SMK TI Budiagung.

Abstract

Manual diagnosis of car engine damage in workshops often encounters obstacles, such as limited mechanic experience, lack of supporting tools, and low accuracy in identifying the root cause of the damage. This research aims to develop an expert system based on the Certainty Factor method to diagnose car engine problems. The method is used to measure the confidence level of symptoms based on input from mechanics and commonly found damage data. The study was conducted through in-depth interviews with workshop personnel to identify symptoms, types of damage, and commonly used diagnostic methods. The results show that the Certainty Factor approach can help provide more accurate and efficient diagnostic recommendations. This system is expected to improve the speed and reliability of the vehicle repair process.

Abstract

The development of Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology has enabled the creation of automated text manipulation applications, one of which is text paraphrasing. This study aims to implement a Transformer architecture with a focus on Indonesian text for automatic text paraphrasing applications. The model used is a pre-trained Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer (T5), which is fine-tuned using an Indonesian text corpus called the Indo-T5 model. During the training process, the model is trained to understand language structure and context in order to generate paraphrases that are not only grammatically correct but also semantically preserved. Evaluation was conducted using BLEU and ROUGE metrics to measure the similarity between the generated paraphrased texts and manual references. The evaluation results show that the model is capable of producing coherent, relevant paraphrased texts with a good level of lexical variation with a BLEU score of 50.1, and ROUGE-L of 61.7. Thus, this study demonstrates that Transformer-based models can be effectively applied to the task of text paraphrasing in Indonesian.

Abstract

Internet connection reliability is essential for facilitating administrative tasks in educational settings, including early childhood education facilities like RA Raudhoh Hasanah. The establishment is experiencing inconsistent internet service due to a lack of Wi-Fi access points and the unavailability of a bandwidth control system. This research intends to introduce a network management system utilizing MikroTik devices to address these problems. The study employs a descriptive qualitative methodology that includes five organized phases: planning, gathering data, designing the system, executing it, and conducting tests. The network architecture was constructed using a bridge topology, configured with a DHCP Server, managed bandwidth through Simple Queue, and a hotspot system that operates on vouchers via the Mikhmon interface. Testing and evaluation results demonstrate notable enhancements in internet reliability and distribution of bandwidth. Furthermore, the voucher system simplifies management of user access with improved flexibility. As a result, the implemented system has shown to be effective in enhancing administrative activities at RA Raudhoh Hasanah.

Abstract

The use of computer networks plays an important role in facilitating daily work. Seeing its important role in facilitating work, its needs will continue to increase. Bandwidth management is needed in the use of computer networks, in order to manage the use of network capacity that can be used. Mikrotik as one of the devices that is efficient in monitoring all computer network needs. By using queues as bandwidth management and also mikhmon vouchers, this way network management can be more efficient. The implementation of this network management is highly recommended so that it can be applied to small-scale environmental networks. BEM FMIPA UNRI as a case study place in implementing the application of this problem. BEM FMIPA itself is a place for organizing students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Riau. With this research, it aims to provide convenience in managing bandwidth usage using hotspot vouchers. Therefore, the management of the BEM FMIPA UNRI computer network will use the Mikrotik routerboard and Mikhmon as hotspot monitoring that has been configured via Mikrotik.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement an age detection application based on facial images using a deep learning approach with a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture. The model is built to recognize and extract facial features in order to estimate an individual’s age automatically. Facial image datasets were obtained from public sources and enhanced through augmentation techniques such as rotation, flipping, and lighting adjustment to increase data variability. The training process involved splitting the data into training, validation, and testing sets. The model was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The gender detection system achieved an accuracy of 82.99% with a precision of 80.95% for males and 84.47% for females. Recall scores were 85.15% for males and 80.12% for females. For age detection, precision, recall, and F1-score varied across different age groups. Overall, the model demonstrates exemplary performance in age prediction, though it still faces challenges in distinguishing closely spaced age categories.

Abstract

Indonesia is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, making it vulnerable to earthquake activity. Earthquake events often require fast and accurate information delivery to reduce the impact of disasters. However, conventional systems often face obstacles such as information delays and lack of real-time impact analysis. Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) provide opportunities to overcome these problems. AI is able to process seismic data efficiently, detect earthquake patterns, and predict their impact. By utilizing Telegram bots as a medium, earthquake information can be delivered quickly through real-time notifications, which are easily accessible to the public. The development of AI-based Telegram bots aims to provide earthquake information automatically, including location, magnitude, and potential impact, as well as analyze historical data to predict seismic activity trends. This solution is expected to increase public awareness and response in dealing with earthquake disasters.
