Focus and Scope of Journal of Muhammadiyah University Prof. Dr. Hamka: Ekonomi Islam The focus and scope of the journal include: 1. To develop the emerging paradigm of Islamic economics on scientific lines through publishing original works in this field that pass its peer review process. 2. To promote dialogue and discussion on current issues in the fields of Islamic economics and finance among the international community of scholars. 3. To encourage empirical research on Islamic finance, takaful, zakah, awqaf and other Islamic institutions including case studies from Muslim economies. 4. Contemporary global economic issues viewed from an Islamic perspective. To publish book reviews of important works published in the field, including books in conventional economics, business and finance having some connection with Islamic economics and/or finance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Liquidity, Leverage, and Profitability on the disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR). Disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) is measured using the ISR index. The population in this study is Sharia Banks in Indonesia in the 2015-2018 period. The total data used is 36 data from 9 samples of Islamic banks using purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that Liquidity, Leverage, and Profitability towards the disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality variables (X1) and brand equity (X2) of digital sharia pawnshops on customer satisfaction in Yogyakarta sharia pawnshops. The research data collecting was through questionnaire method which was distributed to 42 pawnshop customers using purpose sampling method. The quantitative analysis includes validity, reliability test, classical assumption test including normality test, hetoroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test. The hypothesis testing was through T test and simultaneous test. The results of this study show that service quality has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction with the value of t = 1.796. Brand Equity has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction with the value of t = 2.956. The results simultaneously show the magnitude of the F value with a significance of 0,000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that simultaneously service quality and brand equity variables affect customer satisfaction variables.

Abstract

In the current development of many economic activities that use the sharia system because the sharia system is not only beneficial to one party, but can benefit all parties, and the goal of the sharia system itself is to achieve mutual benefit. In the economy itself needs to pay attention about the behavior of consumers, producers and markets. Consumer behavior is a decision-making activity in purchasing activities. Consumer behavior can affect the number of requests and needs. Producer behavior is the activity of producing goods or services that can be used to meet consumer needs. This behavior influences the amount of production and supply of goods or services. Market behavior is a habitual pattern of the market including the decision making process as well as individual or organizational physical activities on certain products. The type of market also influences the prices of goods and services. In Islam, these three behaviors must be based on Islamic teachings, namely, monotheism, justice, nubuwah, caliph, ma'ad. Abstract

The challenge for the industrial era 4.0 towards the industrial era 5.0 which is felt by humans is the loss of many skills that are usually carried out by humans who are transferred to technology. The transformation of banking services due to technological disruptions felt by the banking world, conventional services that have been carried out face-to-face have been replaced by technology, business activities and banking products can be said to be disrupted by the emergence of various finances. technology platforms, especially those engaged in P2P Lending and Payment. This can threaten human resources in the banking world if there is no solution and adaptive action taken by the bank so that banking human resources will still have a place according to their level of expertise. Interpreting from primary and secondary data sources, the result is that there has been a significant decrease in the quantity of banking human resources, but simultaneously the bank is reskilling to improve the quality of human resources to be ready to face changes in banking services. towards an excellent service digital banking system that still adheres to the principle of prudence. Abstract

The results of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Survey in early 2018 showed that the level of Islamic financial literacy was only 8% while the level of inclusion, for Islamic banking itself, was at the highest literacy level, namely 6.6% literacy level and 9% level. 2016 shows that only 30 people have an adequate understanding of finance. This is a challenge to do to develop financial literacy. This study aims to see the level of literacy of Muhammadiyah citizens and financial inclusion of Islamic bank savings products. This research uses quantitative methods and simple regression analysis using SPSS Version 20 software. The independent variable in this study is Literacy. Finance (X1) from the results of the t-test of the financial literacy variable is 9,450 <0.1, which means a positive effect. And the F test shows jointly or simultaneously the Financial Literacy Variable on financial inclusion Sharia bank savings products with the calculated F value are 89,301 which means that it is greater than the F table, namely 3.95 and also has a significant value which is less than 0, 1 is worth 0.00. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether BMT Mekar Da'wah Serpong has implemented Islamic business ethics and sharia marketing in accordance with the theory of Islamic law. The research method is qualitative using interview techniques, library research and internet searching. Then the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that BMT Mekar Da'wah has implemented Islamic business ethics in accordance with the existing principles of Islamic business ethics. In its business activities, BMT Mekar Da'wah is free from usury, can balance economic and social activities, gives members the freedom to choose its products, is responsible to its members and social activities funded by baitul maal, and honesty is applied to employees. BMT. Then, BMT Mekar Da'wah has implemented sharia marketing in accordance with the existing characteristics of sharia marketing. BMT Mekar Da'wah has instilled religious values "‹"‹in their daily lives, behaves and speaks politely to its members, in its marketing, there are no lies and is very transparent, and maintains good relationships with its members. This shows that BMT Mekar Da'wah Serpong applies Islamic business ethics and sharia marketing has shown compliance with the MUI DSN Fatwa No.04 / DSN-MUI / IV / 2000 regarding Murabaha. Abstract

This study is intended to determine the weakness points of multilevel gold pawn investment practice in Islamic financial institutions and to find out an alternative gold investment to avoid those weakness points. The research method used is a qualitative method with primary and secondary data collected through observation on Islamic financial institutions and literature review then analyzed critically and solutively. After conducting a critical analysis, it turns out that the implementation of multilevel gold pawn investment has several major weaknesses such as having to allocate certain costs to other party, there is no certainty that the price of gold will rise in the future, and the risk of loss is very high. Meanwhile, buying gold independently according to the ability of the customer then selling it and right at the moment the proceed of the sale is used to buy gold by the same size again and the next gold with smaller size in case it is done repeatedly, it can be considered as an alternative. Abstract

The tracer study is a tracing study conducted for alumni of the Islamic Banking Department of the Islamic Faculty of UHAMKA who graduated in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Tracer Study is an important part of the existence of universities, especially the Sharia Banking study program in an effort to examine the links and matches of graduate quality in the world of work especially in Islamic banking financial institutions and non-banking Islamic financial institutions with learning services that have been provided during the study period in the Sharia Banking study program. The implementation of tracer studies in tertiary institutions is focused on tracking graduates in order to get feedback from the education/learning processes and services that have been carried out, both to alumni and users of graduates in society (stakeholders). Periodically, the UHAMKA Islamic Banking Study Program conducts a Tracer Study with the aim of improving the quality of learning services based on feedback from alumni and graduate users through this Tracer Study. The Tracer Study of the UHAMKA Islamic Banking Study Program was carried out for graduates in 2016, 2017, and 2018 starting from June to November 2020. The Tracer Study conducted at the UHAMKA Sharia Banking Study Program used the survey method for alumni who graduated two years ago and to the users. In-depth interviews were conducted with several alumni and selected graduate users to strengthen the findings of the tracer study for improving learning services in the UHAMKA Islamic Banking Study Program. The results show that the learning system implemented by the Sharia Banking Study Program can be said to be successful, it's just that the introduction of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah has to be raised in the future. Abstract

The age of the organization has entered the 2nd century, with the long age of the organization, of course, many members have been born, of course, every branch and branch activities of the association should be attended by cadres, but in fact, not all branches and branches are busy with Islamic and Muhammadiyah activities. Therefore, a special strategy is needed to gather Muhammadiyah cadres to actively revive Islamic activities organized by the organization. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the description of the conditions of the cadres in the Muhammadiyah Branch Leadership (PCM) Kebayoran Baru and to find out how the role of the PCM Kebayoran Baru recruitment pattern. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method, by presenting a descriptive depiction of an examination of the object of study. The results of the discussion show that the Methods and Strategies of Muhammadiyah Da'wah in Kebayoran Baru are in accordance with the results of the Muhammadiyah Congress to revitalize cadres and Muhammadiyah members, in addition to continuing to carry out the main cadre, the Cadre Council also opens new breakthroughs by recruiting cadres from the social activity path. formed Limau Charity, which is a member and volunteer for millennials. The leadership of the Kebayoran Baru Branch is also active in the moon recitation and study on Saturday dawn and the culture after each midday prayer, all of which are activities in order to form Muhammadiyah cadres and as a gathering place among Muhammadiyah members. Abstract

Indonesia as a Muslim-majority country desperately needs products that are suitable for Islamic investment products in various financial institutions including capital markets. Likewise, Turkey, a country that was once the center of Islamic power and the most influential in the Islamic world, strongly supports the application of Islamic values, including in the fields of finance and investment, including Islamic investment in the Islamic capital market. The application of Jurisprudence on bond products is needed so that it is farthest from the practice of prohibited practices in Islam. The application of this contract requires analysis and thinking. A comparison of the development of Sukuk in the two Muslim majority countries is very interesting to study. This research is qualitative, namely research to produce a description of a problem in the form of words related to understanding, understanding, and value values. In this qualitative research, the author will explain the differences and similarities of contracts that occur in Sukuk in Indonesia and Turkey and data that occur in the field that relates to concepts in Sukuk contracts in both countries, especially corporate Sukuk. The purpose of this study is to analyze differences in Sukuk practices that incorporate financing through the capital market so that it can be an input for authorities and the government to develop Sukuk markets in Indonesia by looking at the progress of contract agreements practiced in other countries, especially Turkey in this study.
