JS (Jurnal Sekolah)
JS (Jurnal Sekolah) berisi artikel yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan, yang meliputi pembelajaran, hasil penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. JS (Jurnal Sekolah), dikelola oleh Prodi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD), Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Medan. JS (Jurnal Sekolah) merupakan jurnal yang berisi tulisan Dosen, Guru, dan Mahasiswa. Diterbitkan empat kali dalam setahun yaitu Maret, Juni, September dan Desember dalam bentuk elektronik dan cetak oleh prodi PGSD FIP UNIMED. Agenda JS (Jurnal Sekolah) menjadi penting perannya bagi Prodi PGSD FIP UNIMED, dalam mendorong terbangunnya inovasi pendidikan yang dapat memberikan jawaban atas berbagai persoalan daerah, nasional maupun global. Sesuai dengan kapasitasnya dan dilandasi oleh kepentingan nasional, JS (Jurnal Sekolah) diterbitkan sebagai wadah mempermudah masyarakat khususnya dosen Prodi PGSD FIP UNIMED untuk mempublikasikan hasil penelitian dan pengabdiannya kepada masyarakat. JS (Jurnal Sekolah) pertama kali terbit pada tahun 2016. Ketika itu, JS (Jurnal Sekolah) sudah mempunyai ISSN cetak, namun belum mempunyai ISSN elektronik. Seiring berjalannya waktu, JS (Jurnal Sekolah) terus belajar dan mencoba mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan kemajuan teknologi. Hingga saat ini, JS (Jurnal Sekolah) sudah mempunyai ISSN cetak dan elektronik. ISSN Cetak: 2548-8856 dan ISSN Elektronik: 2549-127X. Secara perlahan pada 2016, menerbitkan tulisan secara online (electronic journal) yang berbasis OJS (Open Journal System) pada laman: http://jurnal.unimed.ac.id/2012/index.php/js.

<![CDATA[Abstract: Increasing Interest in Learning History of Students Through Quantum Teaching Model Class XI IPA Senior High School 9 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to determine the application of the Quantum Teaching model to increase students' interest in historical subjects. This type of research is classroom action research. The subject of this study was students of class XI Natural Science 4. Data collection techniques and research instruments were using observation techniques using observation sheets of student learning interest. The results of this study indicate that the Quantum Teaching model can increase student learning interest where in each cycle there is an increase in student learning activities from 38.73% at initial observation to 66.97% in the first cycle and an increase of 85.96% in the second cycle. This shows the Quantum Teaching model can increase students' interest in learning history subjects.Keywords: Learning Interest, Quantum Teaching Model, History LearningAbstrak: Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Sejarah Siswa Melalui Model Quantum Teaching Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan penerapan model Quantum Teaching untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran sejarah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 4. Teknik pengumpulan data dan instrumen penelitian adalah menggunakan teknik observasi menggunakan lembar observasi minat belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model Quantum Teaching dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa di mana pada setiap siklus ada peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dari 38,73% pada observasi awal menjadi 66,97% pada siklus pertama dan terjadi peningkatan 85,96% di siklus kedua. <![CDATA[Abstract: Improvement of Buffet Table Arrangement Skills through Animation-Based Demonstration Methods. Skills can make students creative and independent. In vocational schools skills are preferred. With the application of the animation-based demonstration method, it has made a major contribution in improving students' skills in the subject matter, especially the basic competency in arranging the buffet table, XII students of SMKN 3 Pekanbaru. From the results of observations in the first and second cycles obtained 66.7% of students completeness, in the second cycle 93.33% completeness of students. Here an increase of 26.63% completeness of students. The use of animation-based demonstration methods not only until the second cycle, but can be used continuously to obtain maximum results. Keywords: skills, arrangement of buffet tables, demonstration methods Abstrak: Peningkatan Keterampilan Penataan Meja Prasmanan (Buffet) Melalui Metode Demonstrasi Berbasis Animasi. Keterampilan dapat menjadikan siswa kreatif dan mandiri. Pada sekolah kejuruan keterampilan sangat diutamakan. Dengan penerapan metode demontrasi berbasis animasi memberikan kontribusi yang besar dalam peningkatan keterampilan siswa pada mata pelajaran tata hidang terutama kompetensi dasar penataan meja prasmanan (buffet), siswa XII Tata Boga SMKN 3 Pekanbaru. Dari hasil observasi pada siklus I dan II diperoleh hasil 66.7 % ketuntasan siswa, pada siklus II 93.33 % ketuntasan siswa. Disini terjadi peningkatan sebesar 26.63 % ketuntasan siswa. Penggunaan metode demontrasi berbasis animasi tidak hanya sampai siklus II saja, tetapi bisa digunakan secara berkesinambungan untuk memperoleh hasil yang maksimal. <![CDATA[Abstract: Criticism Of Elementary School Student Learning Books In The Linguistic Theory Study. The distribution of textbooks, both printed and electronic, did not all obtain a recommendation on eligibility from the National Book Center. This paper is intended to provide criticism of the textbooks used in language learning. The analysis is done by studying the literature with the theory approach to linguistic schools. This is done to ensure that the developed textbooks do indeed contain the linguistic elements required by the curriculum. As for the book criticized "Indonesian Makes Me Smart 4". Based on analysis at the level of syntax and morphology, this book is still dominated by structural linguistic flow, and generative transformation. <![CDATA[Abstract: Enhancing Basic Catering Skills Through Demonstration Methods. In contextual classrooms, the teacher's job is to help students achieve their goals. For this reason, an appropriate strategy is needed to improve the results and quality of learning, especially basic culinary subjects in the skill expertise of SMK 3 in Pekanbaru. The application of the demonstration method will make a major contribution, especially in improving basic food skills. From the observations of the first cycle obtained 50% of students completeness, while the second cycle 97.06% students completeness. Here an increase of 47.06% mastery of students. The use of the demonstration method is not only until the second cycle, but can be used continuously to obtain maximum results.Keywords: skills, basic food, demonstration methodAbstrak: Peningkatan Keterampilan Boga Dasar Melalui Metoda Demonstrasi. Dalam kelas kontekstual, tugas guru adalah membantu siswa mencapai tujuannya. Untuk itu diperlukan strategi yang tepat dalam peningkatan hasil dan kualitas dari pembelajaran, khususnya mata pelajaran boga dasar pada kompetensi keahlian Tata Boga SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. Dengan penerapan metode demonstrasi akan memberikan kontribusi yang besar terutama pada peningkatan keterampilan boga dasar. Dari hasil observasi siklus I diperoleh 50 % ketuntasan siswa, sedangkan siklus II 97.06% ketuntasan siswa. Disini terjadi peningkatan sebesar 47.06 % ketuntasan siswa. <![CDATA[Abstract: The Implementation of Everone Is Teacher Learning Model Improves Student Learning Outcomes Historical Subjects for Class XI Senior High School 9 Pekanbaru. This study aims to improve the History of Learning Outcomes of the XI grade students of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru by applying the Everyone is teacher learning model. The subjects of this study were all students of class XI totaling 36 people. The form of research is classroom action research. The research instrument consisted of performance instruments and data collection instruments. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that in the first cycle of students who completed reached 55.55% increased significantly by 97.22% in the second cycle, the value of students completeness has been reached. It shows that the learning outcomes of the students of Class XI Science 6 in SMAN 9 Pekanbaru can be improved through the Everyone is Teacher method.Keywords: Learning Model Everyone is Teacher, Learning Outcomes HistoryAbstrak: Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Everone Is Teacher Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Siswa Kelas XI SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Sejarah siswa kelas XI SMAN 9 Pekanbaru dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Everyone is teacher. Subjek penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XI berjumlah 36 orang. Bentuk penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari instrumen unjuk kerja dan instrumen pengumpulan data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan pada siklus I peserta didik yang tuntas mencapai 55,55% meningkat secara signifikan sebesar 97,22% pada siklus II, nilai ketuntasan siswa telah tercapai. Sanitation, hygiene and work safety are one of the productive subjects that are very important in supporting the field of culinary expertise. For this reason, the need for more creative methods or methods in delivering each of the basic competencies presented, especially cleaning materials and sanitary materials to increase the interest of these students. From the results of observations in the first and second cycles the results obtained 50% cycle I completeness of students, while the second cycle 94.11% completeness of students. Here an increase of 44.11% students completeness. <![CDATA[Abstract: Improving Students' Mathematical Concept Understanding Through the Application of Cooperative Learning Models for Class XII Discovery Learning 2. The application of cooperative learning strategies Discovery Learning will be one of the effective learning strategies, and the Cooperative Learning Learning model using the help of Worksheets (LKPD), will provide a major contribution in improving the understanding of the concept of mathematics in class XII IPA2 SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. From the results of observations in the first and second cycles, it was shown in the increase in the final results of each cycle, namely in the first cycle the average value of students reached 69.08 with a classical completeness of 68.42%, in the second cycle an increase in the average value of students reached 82 , 89 with classical completeness 84.21%.Keywords: Mathematics, learning models, cooperative discovery learningAbstrak: Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Siswa Melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Discovery Learning Kelas XII IPA 2. <![CDATA[Abstract: Development of Mathematics Modul For Students Elementary School Class 3 in Wujil 01 Bergas. This study purpose to produce a more interactive mathematical module that is feasible to be used as a support for teaching materials for grade 3 students of Wujil 01 Bergas State Elementary School. This research method uses Research and Development (R&D) and the development of Borg and Gall, 1989 (in Sukmadinata, 2011), implementation with a study population of 34 students. Research site at SD Negeri Wujil 01 Bergas. The product produced from this development is mathematics teaching material to support teaching materials for grade 3 students of SD Negeri Wujil 01 Bergas. <![CDATA[Abstract: Improving Students' Ability to Use Biological Learning Sets Approach Class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. Based on observations made by researchers, it appears that the activeness and performance of students is not optimal, 65% of students do not respond to the material and questions from the teacher. With the SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) approach in learning biology it is hoped that students can master and apply it. From the results of observations in the first and second cycles obtained 55.6% of students completeness, while in the second cycle 100% completeness of students. Here an increase of 44.4% student completeness. <![CDATA[Abstract : Development of Student Worksheets with a Scientific Approach with Entrepreneurship Values for Class IV Students. The research method used in the development of worksheets with a scientific approach with an entrepreneurial value on the theme of this work is the research and development method with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop and Disemination). The results of this study are: (1) the development of student worksheets with a scientific approach with an entrepreneurial value on the theme of various jobs. The feasibility assessment by media experts got an average score of 115 with an average score of 3.96 which was included in the very feasible category. As well as the average number of scores of 105.2 obtained from the assessment of students with a mean score of 3.5 which is included in the category of very feasible as teaching material and is in the percentage of a very decent category of 100%.Keywords: Student worksheet, Scientific Approach, Value of EntrepreneurshipAbstrak : Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Siswa Dengan Pendekatan Scientific Approach Bermuatan Nilai Kewirausahan Untuk Siswa Kelas IV. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengembangan lembar kerja dengan pendekatan ilmiah dengan nilai kewirausahaan pada tema karya ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop and Disemination). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) pengembangan lembar kerja siswa dengan pendekatan ilmiah dengan nilai kewirausahaan pada tema berbagai pekerjaan. Penilaian kelayakan oleh para pakar media mendapat skor rata-rata 115 dengan skor rata-rata 3,96 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak.
