Abstract

Background: Dysmenorrhea is a gynecological condition that most commonly occurs in women of childbearing age. Dysmenorrhea is defined as a paiful sensation, cramping in the lower abdoment, and is often accompanied by other symptoms, such as sweating, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and shaking. All of this happens right before or during menstruation. Primary dysmenorrhea complaints are often experienced by young women under 25 years old. Dysmenorrhea often results in disruption of activities and social relationships. Pondok Pesantren Putri Ar-Rohmah is a special Islamic boarding school for female students aged 13-18 years. At this age, primary dysmenorrhea complaints often occur. The activities of the students are also very far from the words of heavy activity, they only recite the recitation, memorization and formal schooling which is very lacking in physical activity. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence and description of the characteristics of primary dysmenorrhoea in adolescents at Islamic Boarding School Putri Ar-Rohmah Ngawi. Method: This research was quantitative research with descriptive observational methods. Result: From the study, the prevalence of primary dysmenorrhoea in adolescents in Islamic boarding schools was 83.1%. The highest characteristic of dysmenorrhoea is caused by lack of physical activity, namely 54.2% of respondents are less active and 5.8% of respondents have sedentary behavior. Conclusion: The characteristic description that most influences the occurrence of dysmenorrhoea in students is inadequate physical activity. Meanwhile, the description of the characteristics of body mass index, age of menarche, menstrual cycle, and menstrual duration are not the main characteristics that cause dysmenorrhea in respondents.

Abstract

Background: Adolescence is a period of rapid growth and development both physically, psychologically and intellectually. Some of the health problems that can be experienced by adolescents, one of which is about risky behavior from premarital sex to HIV, factors that can cause adolescents to engage in risky sexual behavior include lack of education or knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about the importance of maintaining reproductive health. This literature review aims to determine the effect of providing adolescent reproductive health education by peers on knowledge and attitudes about adolescent reproductive health and HIV. Method: The articles used in this literature review is 5 articles with searches conducted through Google Schoolar, PubMed, and Garuda using the keywords 'adolescent reproductive health education', 'adolescent HIV health education', and health education by peers'. The inclusion criteria of this literature review are the articles used indexed by SINTA, Scopus, Scimago or having ISSN, Full text, published in 2011-2021, and using themethod quasi-experimental. The method used is to summarize the five selected journals, analyze, and draw conclusions. Results: The results in research journals show value < 0.05 and value = 0.0001 < which means that there is an effect of providing reproductive health education by peers on knowledge and attitudes about adolescent reproductive health and HIV. Conclusion: There is an influence of adolescent reproductive health education by peers on knowledge and attitudes about adolescent reproductive health and HIV. Suggestions for future research are expected to pay more attention to procedures and measurement of research results using health education methods by peer educators.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to describe how the implementation of sex education for adolescents in youth center Griya Muda PKBI Kota Semarang and analysis of Islamic counseling guidance on sex education for adolescents in Youth Center Griya Muda PKBI Kota Semarang. Method: This study is a descriptive qualitative study that aims to find out sex education for adolescents conducted by the Youth Center Griya Muda PKBI Semarang City in providing correct and accurate information to minimize premarital sex behavior, as well as efforts to prevent the transmission of HIV / AIDS for adolescents. The data collection techniques used in this study are with observations, interviews, and documentation. Results: The implementation of sex education conducted by Griya Muda Youth Center includes education and counseling services using direct and indirect methods. Judging from the analysis of Islamic counseling guidance, the objectives, methods and functions of activities carried out are close to the implementation of Islamic counseling guidance. However, youth center Griya Muda has not implemented the entire existence of Islamic counseling guidance completely.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to describe how the efforts implemented by PKBI Semarang City and how the analysis of Islamic Guidance and counselling on PKBI Semarang City in overcoming the dangers of risky behavior in the gay community. Method: This study is a descriptive qualitative study that aims to find out the efforts made by PKBI Semarang City in overcoming the dangers of risky behavior in the gay community, which is then described in the form of a description of words or writings. The data collection techniques used in this study are with observations, interviews, and documentation. Results: PKBI Semarang City has several programs to prevent HIV / AIDS transmission, namely, outreach and assistance, especially key populations such as: WPS, WPS Customers, gay, and Transvestites with preventive materials including (condoms, pelican, KIE). Conducting socialization activities to increase knowledge about STIs and HIV / AIDS Information needs to be done continuously, for example by using the mechanism of weekly meetings. Clinics, to prevent the transmission of HIV / AIDS and detect the presence of HIV / AIDS early, by empowering to always live healthy. PKBI Semarang City has not implemented any full Islamic extension guidance but seen from the form of extension and coaching activities carried out both individually and in groups. In the extension of PKBI Semarang city has a significant influence on the gay community, this is seen from the number of people with HIV / AIDS which decreased compared to the previous year.

Abstract

Background: Syphilis is a chronic and systematic disease caused by Treponema Pallidum. Syphilis transmission through sexual intercourse, can also occur vertivally ftom mother to fetus in the womb or at birt, through blood products and sometimes also transmitted through medical devices. WHO estimates that more than one million people worldwide diagnosed with Sexually Transmitted Diseases every day. Method: The research is a descriptive survey with Cross Sectional design. The data is taken from West Lombok Indonesian Red Cross Blood Donor Unit  screening laboratory of period 2020. Result : The data showed the amount of syphilis reactive donors are as many as 36 people. The data showed the highest cases among blood dorors are of the age group 40-50 years as many as 12 people or 33,3% of the total syphilis reactive donors with the most cases only being male as many as 36 people or 100% of the total syphilis reactive blood donors. Implication : Theimplication of this study are: First,  prevention efforts against risky sexual behavior so that the incidence of syphilis may decrease. Second, reduce the risk of transmission of sexually transmitted diseases through blood transfusions Novelty: The study was conducted to determine the prevalence of syphilis examination results in blood donors at UDD PMI west Lombok in 2020

Abstract

Background: One of the stages of child development is puberty. Puberty is common at the age of a dozen years, usually children undergo a change towards adulthood. These changes can be physical, mental, and social changes. In the face of puberty requires sufficient knowledge. Method: The approach in this study was quantitative. The data obtained  were processed used statistical analysis. The study design used one group pretest and posttest. Result: The results of the study obtained stated that the use of interactive PowerPoint can increase the average value of pretest-posttest by 2.87. The result of the hypothesis test based on the t-test was obtained that the result of . (-3,761 < -2,045) then Ho was rejected. There were differences in student learning outcomes in the pretest and posttest. That way there was an increase in knowledge on puberty material for grade 6 students of SD Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat Implication: Based on the results obtained, there were several' suggestions related to this study: First for schools, the school should provide facilities in the form of facilities and infrastructure that can support learning. Second, for teachers, it is expected to be able to develop innovative learning media. Third, for other researchers, it is hoped that this study can provide benefits for conducting the next study. Novelty: This study revealed the effectiveness of using media to improve students' knowledge.

Abstract

Background: Menarche is the first menstruation experienced by women. Knowledge of physical and psychological changes related to menarche is needed by young women, especially those who have not experienced menstruation to prepare themselves to face menarche. The bibliotherapy method can provide effective benefits because the reading material in bibliotherapy has specific story content, according to the characteristics of the subject and contains learning values ​​so that it can be used as a method that has the power to change. Method: The design of this study was Pre-Experimental with a research design of One Group Pre-test-Post-test Design which used 38 respondents. Sampling used a non-probability sampling technique with a total sampling approach. Collecting data using a questionnaire that was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Result: The results showed that there was an increase in the average knowledge about menarche before and after that was 4.35. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistical test showed that the value of p = 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that "Ha is accepted" which means that there is a significant difference in the knowledge of young women before and after giving the bibliotherapy method. Conclusion: So that the bibliotherapy method is effective to increase the knowledge of young women about menarche at SDN 1 Purwoharjo and can be used as a method to convey information to elementary students

Abstract

Background: This study aimed to determined the influence of the husband's role on the level of anxiety of pregnant women in the III trimester in the face of childbirth. Method: This type of study used was the Traditional Literature Review. This type of design is a review that usually adopts a critical approach, such as assessing the theory or hypothesis of the previous researcher, examining the methods and results of a single primary study with an emphasis on background and contextual materials, not using a scientific method approach (depending on the wishes of the researcher) so that it can contain biases, cannot be replicated because the synthesis is carried out narratively. Result: The results of this study show that there is an influence of husband support on wives who experience anxiety in the third trimester of pregnancy where the group of pregnant women who do not live with their husbands has a high-moderate anxiety category compared to third trimester pregnant women who live with their husbands on average fall into the category of medium-low anxiety. had a moderate level of anxiety of 12 people (40%) and 18 people (60%) had a low level of anxiety. High anxiety levels of 19 people (63%) and 11 people (37%) had moderate levels of anxiety. Implication: It is hoped that it can be a reference to the husband that the importance of the husband's role in reducing the anxiety of pregnant women in childbirth. It is recommended to the husband to provide support and support to the mother in order to reduce the anxiety of the third trimester pregnant woman so that the delivery that will be faced can run well

Abstract

Background: The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between adolescents' first mating age, contraceptive use and adolescent fertility with women's education Method: This was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional study design,  independent variables are the age of first marriage, the use of contraception and adolescent fertility and the dependent variable is female education. The population and samples in this study are data from the Performance Survey and Accountability Program (SKAP) KKBPK BKKBN North Sulawesi Province in 2018. The data from the study were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Correlation test. Results: Statistical test proved that there is a meaningful relationship between the first marriage age of adolescents and the education of adolescent women, with a p value = 0.008, correlation value = 0.736 which has a strong correlation level between first  marriage age and female education, there is a meaningful relationship between contraceptive use and female adolescent education, who obtained a p value = 0.019 correlation value = 0.843 which has a strong correlation level between  The use of contraception with the education of adolescent women and there is a meaningful relationship between adolescent fertility and adolescent education of women who obtain a p value = 0.001 correlation value = 0.911, namely adolescent fertility has a very strong correlation with the level of education of adolescent women. Suggestion: The government needs to pay attention to the implementation of policies on adolescents, especially reproductive health issues, and create effective programs for the distribution of reproductive health information for adolescents.

Abstract

Background: Users contraception IUD Still more low compared contraception lay Included hearts non LTM. Low use IUD contraception is caused by different factors, praying only is the low level of knowledge. Interest research and testing singer is developing a leaflet as a medium that health promotion efforts to improve knowledge about hearts Intra Uterine Device (IUD) contraceptive at woman of fertile age Sawit subdistrict Tegalrejo In Boyolali. Method: The experimental research study design using design of experiments with the Quasi Experimental Design approach with a pretest-posttest control group. The population research is a women in fertile age aged 20-49 amounted to 495 people. Sampling technique purposive sampling. The number of research samples 35 samples for the the treatment group and 35 samples for the control group. Research instruments used questionnaire. Statistical analysis using t test. Result: The results showed: (1) There is no significant difference in the level of knowledge women in fertile age about IUD contraceptive before and after administration of health education in the control group (p = 0.058 >0.05). (2) There is a significant difference in the level of knowledge women in fertile age about the IUD contraceptive after WUS provided education in the treatment group (p = 0.000<0.05).
