To measure self efficacy, this study used an instrument developed by Bandura (1997). To measure trust toward the leader, this study used an instrument developed by Meyer and Allen (1991). Instrument testing was done by using the validity testing corrected item-total correlation, and reliability testing Cronbachs Alpa. These results support the hypothesis that self efficacy has positive influence on innovative behavior of teachers (innovative work behavior), as well as confidence in the leadership hypothesis (trust toward leader) positive effect on teachers' innovative work behavior (innovative work behavior).

Abstract

The era of economic disruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic has had a very drastic impact on the economy. The Indonesian economy in 2020 fell sharply, especially in the second quarter, at minus 5%, in contrast to 2019. One of the main factors was the shocking of the MSME sector as the largest contributor to Indonesia's GDP in previous years. The MSME sector is paralyzed, as evidenced by 68% of MSMEs discontinuing their operations, 65% of MSMEs choosing to temporarily stop their operations and another 3% permanently discontinuing them. In addition, market demand declined sharply, causing 4 out of 5 companies (80%) MSMEs to experience a significant decrease in income. The problems experienced by MSME actors during the pandemic include limitations and difficulties in obtaining capital, the absence of massive coordination between MSME actors, lack of creativity, knowledge and lack of motivation. The government has made efforts to overcome the rescue of MSMEs, by providing capital assistance funds of Rp. 2,400,000/UMKM, but with all the limitations, these efforts are not effective. The paralysis of the MSME sector as the largest contributor to GDP in Indonesia has hampered economic development in Indonesia. OMG: MSME ORGANIZATIONS SYNERGY BASED ON CROSS-COOPERATIONS AND ACHIEVEMENT AWARDING AS ECONOMIC RECOVERY EFFORTS IN THE MIDDLE OF PANDEMIC LIMITATIONS. The author believes that the presence of MSME organizations in synergy will help recovery efforts as well as economic development in the midst of limitations by raising and improving the quality of MSMEs in Indonesia. Thus, MSMEs will contribute to the maximum GDP contribution, which makes Indonesia's economic development much more advanced, both in the midst of the limitations of the pandemic and even after the pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of institutions towards the application of agricultural technology to farmer capabilities’ development. The utilization of agricultural technology is commonly viewed as an appropriate way to develop agricultural sector, particularly to empower smallholder farmers. Nevertheless, practically, the degree of successful application of a technology depends on certain preconditions. One of such preconditions is institution. This study attempts to analyze a case of an agricultural setting with a technology application at Samberembe, Candibinangun, Pakem. Data collection is conducted through interviews, observation, and documental study. The interviewees are mina padi farmers, farmer group leader, agricultural instructors, village apparatus, and agricultural activists. The results show that the existence of institutions related to the case in one way ensures farmers’ capabilities development, but in another way gives a kind of barriers, particularly in the use of an agricultural technology, namely mina padi. Such institutional design, at the formal, provides opportunity for farmers to access three features i.e. the introduction of agricultural technology, a range of agricultural facilities, and farming trainings. All of these features simultaneously build a precondition for the farmers in achieving the wellbeing. Meanwhile, the existence of informal institutions that created from daily habits of the farmers in managing farm to some extent weakens the development of farmers’ knowledge and skills. Based on the study results, there is an opportunity for those who have authorities in the relevant domains of an agricultural technology application in order to improve the impact of the program by giving more concern to any particular conditions of the farmers, including their informal institution, rather than just applying the program without considering the actual condition of the related field.

Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic that has attacked almost all countries in the world since the end of 2019 until now certainly has an impact on international trade. This impact is certainly also felt by Indonesia as a open market operation country. Purpose of this study is to see whether the COVID-19 pandemic affects international trade, both export and import activities with oil and gas and non-oil and gas types. The data used is the total value of exports and imports, oil and gas, and non-oil and gas from 2019.8 to 2020.9 or nineteen months before the COVID-19 pandemic and nineteen months during the COVID-19 pandemic obtained from the Monthly Trade report published by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. This study uses data analysis techniques, namely Paired Sample T Test and Mann-Whitney U Test. The results showed that there was no difference in the value of nonoil and gas imports before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, while total exports, oil and gas exports, non-oil exports, total imports, and imports of oil and gas experienced significant changes or differences in value in the period before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Indonesian economy during this crisis turned out to be stronger on the import side because the value of non-oil and gas imports didn’t show a significant difference both before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Every year the growth of Micro-Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has increased by 4.2% from 2016-2019 with a contribution to GDP of 50%. However, there is a challenge in the future: declining turnover due to high consumer interest through digital transactions, while only 13% of MSMEs are connected to the go-digital network. Whereas the concept of digital marketing provides hope for MSMEs to develop into centers of economic power. Departing from these problems, the author has the innovation called Udin (UMKM Digital Marketing), which is a platform that allows the empowerment of MSMEs through a digital-based creative economy in an effort to optimize capacity development. Udin will be integrated with the Department of Industry, Cooperatives and MSMEs. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative with literature study. The existence of innovation is expected to be able to regenerate go-digital-based MSMEs through capacity building in digital marketing, the impact of which is correlated to the improvement of the national economy as well as an effort to increase the standard of living of a just and prosperous society.
