Abstract

Tanaman jahe membutuhkan berbagai jenis unsur hara dalam jumlah yang cukup untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya, baik tergolong unsur hara makro maupun mikro. Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman jahe dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor diantaranya faktor tanah dan faktor lingkungan (intensitas cahaya). Tanah gambut memiliki tingkat kesuburan rendah yang ditandai dengan kandungan unsur hara makro dan mikro yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari jenis pupuk kandang, intensitas naungan yang paling baik serta interaksi antara intensitas naungan dan jenis pupuk kandang terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jahe di lahan gambut. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi. Sebagai petak utama adalah Intensitas naungan (N) terdiri dari 6 taraf perlakuan dan Jenis Pupuk Kandang (P) sebagai anak petak (Sub Plot) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan. Setiap kombinasi perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali dengan 6 tanaman sampel setiap bedengan. Perlakuan yang dimaksud adalah : faktor intensitas naungan (N) terdiri dari : n1 = naungan 50%, n2 = naungan 60%, n3 = naungan 70%, n4 = naungan 80%, n5 = naungan 90%, n6 = naungan 100%. Faktor kedua jenis pupuk kandang (P) terdiri dari : p1 =  pupuk kandang sapi, p2 =  pupuk kandang ayam, p3 =  pupuk kandang kambing. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan naungan hanya berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur tanaman 1 BST,dan perlakuan pupuk hanya berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat kering tanaman umur 4 dan 5 BST. Tidak terjadi interaksi antara perlakuan naungan dan jenis pupuk kandang di semua perlakuan variabel pengamatan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the parameters of free fatty acids in PT. As long as Intisurya Mulia, the Mulia Oil Mill factory is within quality control limits based on the X-bar and R-bar control chart, looking for factors that affect the value of CPO (Crude Palm Oil) free fatty acid content in production oil, as well as seeking solutions to the problem causes increase in the quality of free fatty acids. The test results using the control chart (control chart) obtained the results of the X-bar and R-bar control chart, on the X-bar control chart there is data that crosses the lower control limit, and the results data outside the upper control limits. The results of the quality of free fatty acids, there are data that are outside the control limits. Whereas the R-bar control limit states that the free fatty acid content in the production oil is still under control, because all data is still within the control limit R and there is no data outside the upper control limit or lower control limit.

Abstract

This study aims to calculate the added value of processed corn products and to design a technically and financially feasible corn yogurt processing industry in Ketapang district. This study used a descriptive research method conducted in a survey with a population originating from sweet corn producers. The research location was conducted in Kalinilam village, southern Delta Pawan district, Ketapang district. The business unit analysis uses the Total Cost formula while the financial feasibility analysis uses the B / C ratio. The results of the technical and financial studies planning for the sweet corn yogurt industry are obtained by designing a small-scale corn yogurt processing unit with a production capacity of 400 kg/month or 2400 bottles/month. Economic analysis shows that to establish a corn yogurt processing unit requires a total investment capital of Rp. 113,723,712, -. The total production cost is Rp. 207,592,666.- with the cost of production (HPP) per bottle (100 ml) Rp. 7,208, - and the selling price of the product per bottle is Rp. 10,000 with a profit margin of 40%. The industrial feasibility test results obtained IRR value 38.316%, NPV Rp. 353,405,180, Payback Period is 1.85 years, with BEP of 9,022 units, B / C ratio of 1.43, and net R / C of 1.40. The result of this study is the feasibility of technical and financial of small-scale industrial corn yogurt processing units are feasible.

Abstract

Liquid fertilizer is a fertilizer whose basic ingredients come from animals or plants that have undergone fermentation and the form of the product is in the form of a liquid. Kepok banana peel is one of the basic ingredients used for the manufacture of liquid fertilizer because it contains macro elements N, P, and K. this study aimed to determine the nutrients contained in the liquid fertilizer from barangan banana peels. This research was conducted by mixing brown sugar, water, and the effectiveness of microorganisms (EM4) with the fixed variables used were banana peels. The method used in this study was to mix 80 grams of brown sugar, 1 liter of water, and the effectiveness of microorganisms (EM4) with a variation of the composition of 200 ml, 300 ml and 400 ml with the fixed variable used was banana peels. The parameters observed were pH, yield, and total N. The results showed that the liquid fertilizer produced had a pH of 4 liquid fertilizer, the yields obtained from the 3 treatments were 2.4%, 2.5%, and 2.6%. While the total N content from the analysis process was 1.26%, 2.38, and 4.48.

Abstract

The effectiveness of the Upsus Program on the national agenda is needed further evaluation on several areas. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness on implementation of the Upsus Program on development of corn commodity in Sungai Melayu Rayak District, Ketapang Regency and the participants’ agricultural products productivity before and after the program. A Survey Method is conducted in this case study by interviewing 40 farmers who participated in the program from four villages. The results showed the process of implementing the program cycle and the use of assistance that had been achived was quite good. Other success indicators could be seen from the socialisazation that reached out most of the the farmers, increased planting area, and an increase in productivity. A weakness was found from the lack of precise implementation during the program which impacted on the planting schedule.

Abstract

Black rice (Oriza sativa.L) is one of the local varieties that has a high anthocyanin content within the pericarp layer of the seed, which contains nutritions that are important to health. Local black rice seed frequently empty with grain, caused by ineffective manure, especially potassium and phosphate. Utilization of rainfed areas for black rice cultivation can be done with balanced fertilization. This study aims to determine the effect of phosphate and potassium fertilization on the growth and production of black rice grain in rainfed areas. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) model with two factors, i.e KCl fertilizer factor consisting of four levels namely k0 without treatment, k1 = 20 g / plot, k2 = 40 g / plot, k3 = 60g / plot and the second factor was phosphate consisting of the four levels, i.e p0 without treatment, p1 = 20 g / plot, p2 = 40 g / plot, p3 = 60g / plot. Each treatment was repeated three times so that there were 48 experimental plot units. The results showed that there was an interaction between the treatments on the weight of 1000 grains while the application of potassium fertilizer significantly affected the number of productive tillers, harvested unhusked rice, milled unhusked rice and the weight of 1000 grains. The application of phosphate fertilizer only significantly affected the number of productive tillers with recommended doses 40g / plot because it gives a higher yield compared to the others in the number of 17.95 productive tillers

Abstract

Ginger require various types of nutrients in sufficient quantities for growth and development, both classified as macro and micro nutrients. Plant growth and development is based on various factors including soil factors and environmental factors (light intensity). Peat soils have a low fertility rate, characterized by low macro and micro nutrient content. This study aims to find the best type of dung, the best shade rate and interaction between shade rate and type of dung on ginger growth and yield in peatlands. This study uses a split plot design. As the main plot is the shade rate (N) consists of 6 levels of composition and Type of dung (P) as a subplot which consists of 3 levels of maintenance. Each combination was repeated three times with 6 plant samples each bed. The treatments were: shade rate factor (N) consisted of: n1 = 50% shade, n2 = 60% shade, n3 = 70% shade, n4= 80% shade, n5 = 90% shade, n6 = 100% shade. The second factor is type of dung (P) consisting of p1 = cow dung, p2 = chicken dung, p3 = goat dung. The results showed that shade rate only had a significant effect on plant height at 1 month after plant, and type of dung only had a significant effect on plant dry weight at 4 and 5 months after plant. There was no interaction between shade rate and type of dung in all monitoring observational variables.
