Abstract

Mental disorders such as stress are problems that often occur in people of productive age. This can happen because at this time there is an increase in ability and the need to do various things that happen in the surrounding environment. Stress can have a negative impact on a person's health and well-being, for example related to neurological disorders that often occur, namely primary headaches. This study aims to determine the relationship between stress levels and the incidence of primary headaches in Physiotherapy undergraduate students at the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling through a cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study were 152 active undergraduate students of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University. Student stress levels were measured using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 42, while primary headaches used the Headache Intake Questionnaire, Cleveland Clinic Canada. In this study, the results showed that 36.8% of students did not experience stress and the other 63.2% experienced stress at different levels from mild to very severe. Furthermore, as much as 75,7% of the total respondents experienced primary headaches with the most frequent type of tension type headache. In this study the correlation test used was the Chi Square test and a p-value of 0.021 (p <0.05) was obtained, which means that there is a relationship between stress levels and the incidence of primary headaches in Physiotherapy undergraduate students at the Faculty of Nursing, Hasanuddin University. Abstract

Abstract

Background: Changes during pregnancy include changes in posture and lengthening of the abdominal and pelvic muscles, which can affect the musculoskeletal system. As many as 70% of pregnant women in the third-trimester experience lower back pain caused by increasing gestational age changes in the anatomy and physiology of pregnant women, which can cause Activity Daily Living (ADL) or the daily activities of pregnant women to be disrupted. Stability Ball Exercise (SBE) is an exercise that can reduce the intensity of back pain in pregnant women and can increase daily functional activities. Objective: to determine the effect of providing stability ball workouts on Daily Living Activities in pregnant women with complaints of lower back pain in the Kartasura Health Center work area. Method: quasi-experimental with one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample in this study consisted of 23 pregnant women based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis test used a paired sample t-test to determine the effect of the stability of ball training on daily activities in pregnant women. Dosing three times a week for four weeks. The instrument in this study used a disability rating index measurement questionnaire with 12 question items divided into three parts. The first item contains basic activities of daily living, the second item contains daily physical activities, and the third item contains activities related to heavier work. Results: A significant relationship exists between the pre- and post-DRI results with a p-value <0.001. Conclusion: There is an effect of stability ball workouts on increasing daily living activities in pregnant women with complaints of lower back pain. Abstract

Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) is a congenital heart disease or abnormality caused by a hole in the right and left atrial partition so that the blood mixes. Most ASDs do not show signs and symptoms, but patients generally experience symptoms related to decreased functional capacity, including shortness of breath during activity. ASD valve closure surgery is a safe maintenance procedure and has an impact on low mortality rates. The phase II physiotherapy program in this case aims to determine the effect of aerobic exercise, treadmill and ergocycle interventions on increasing functional capacity. This study is a case report on subjects with post surgical Arterial Septal Defect closure conditions with a phase II rehabilitation program in the form of aerobic exercise, treadmill and ergocycle for 5 therapy sessions. Next, vital signs were measured, blood pressure, heart rate (HR), SpO2 quality, Borg Scale shortness of breath measurements at each therapy session and functional capacity (6MWT). The results showed stable blood pressure and HR, decreased shortness of breath, and increased functional capacity or METs results. Abstract

Background : High blood pressure is the biggest global disease in 2015 and one of the factors causing premature death. High blood pressure is influenced by various factors such as age, stress, lifestyle and diet. People with poor eating patterns will result in the accumulation of fat in the body which will result in excess BMI or what is called obesity. The accumulation of fat will cause blockages in the blood vessels. According to 2018 Riskesdas statistics, there are 21.8 percent of obesity sufferers in Indonesia. Methods : This research uses a quantitative descriptive research design with a cross-sectional approach. With a sample of 92 elderly people and with an error rate of 0.05. This research was carried out offline using a sphygmomanometer and screening sheet. Results : The highest body mass index was in the obesity category with a percentage of 47.8% and the highest high blood pressure value was in the stage I high blood pressure category with a percentage of 77.2%. After the correlation test, it was found that there was no relationship between body mass index and high blood pressure, with p=0.153 p(<0.05). Conclusion : There is no relationship between body mass index and high blood pressure. Keywords: Hypertensi; Body Mass Indeks; Elderly; Physiotherapy
