Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work environment and workload on turnover intention with job satisfaction as moderation. The object of research was conducted at PT Sumber Sawit Makmur Unit Bandar Pulau, Bandar Pulau District, Asahan Regency. This research is included in the category of causal research using a quantitative approach. Sampling using the Slovin Formula which amounted to 53 field employees from a population of 113 people. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, distributing questionnaires and documentation studies. This research analyzes using the help of Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) software version 3.0 which is applied with computer media to test the strength of the relationship between turnover intention and its independent variables, namely work environment and workload and job satisfaction as moderating variables. The results of this study prove that the work environment has a negative and insignificant effect on turnover intention.Workload has a positive and insignificant effect on turnover intention.Job satisfaction variables are not able to moderate the influence of work environment and workload on turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of organizational commitment, compensation, on organizational citizenship behavior mediated by teacher loyalty in the Amal Usaha Majelis Dikdasmen Muhammadiyah Pematangsiantar. The data used in this study were obtained directly from respondents totaling 54 permanent teachers of Perguruan Muhammadiyah Pematangsiantar which were processed with the help of the SmartPLS program. The results showed that organizational commitment, teacher loyalty, individually had a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. While compensation with a negative direction has an insignificant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Organizational commitment variables, compensation, individually have a significant effect on teacher loyalty. Teacher loyalty significantly mediates the effect of organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior. Loyalty significantly mediates the effect of compensation on organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of self-control and job stress on cyberloafing behavior moderated by organizational commitment at PT Asuransi Jasindo Medan Branch Office. The sample of this study amounted to 40 employees, which will be analyzed using SEM-PLS statistical analysis. This study proves that self-control negatively and significantly affects cyberloafing behavior. Job stress positively and significantly affects cyberloafing behavior. Organizational commitment does not moderate the effect of self control on cyberloafing behavior. Organizational commitment does not moderate the effect of job stress on cyberloafing behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the effect of work environment and job embeddedness on turnover intention through job satisfaction as a mediator. All employees of PT Medan Jaya Pangan Mutu are the research subjects. The saturated sample method was used to select a sample of 36 individuals. PLS (Partial Least Square) software was used to process the data in this study. The results of this study indicate that work environment, job embeddedness, and job satisfaction directly affect turnover intention; job satisfaction indirectly affects work environment and job embeddedness on turnover intention at PT Medan Jaya Pangan Mutu.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of workload and remuneration on plaintiff performance moderated by extrinsic motivation at Sanobar Gunajaya Company. The sample in this study was a saturated sample in which the entire population was surveyed, but supervisors were not included in the sample. Although this research sample consists of 74 plaintiffs, this type of research is quantitative and uses SEM-PLS statistical analysis. This study used the SmartPLS 4 software program for data processing. The data were analyzed using a quantitative approach with statistical analysis, namely the Partial Least Squares Structural Equality Model (PLS-SEM). The results of this study prove that workload has a positive and significant influence on plaintiff performance. Compensation has a small positive impact on claimant performance. Extrinsic motivation does not reduce the impact of workload on plaintiff performance. Extrinsic motivation does not moderate the impact of rewards on claimant performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of human relationships and work environment with employee work ethic as mediation at PT Lotte Mart Wholesale Medan. This study has a sample of 44 respondents by collecting data through interview techniques and distributing questionnaires. The research data was processed using Smart PLS to test 7 hypotheses in the study. The results of this study prove that human relationships positively and significantly affect employee performance, the work environment negatively and insignificantly affects employee performance, and human relationships positively and significantly affect employee work ethic. The work environment negatively and insignificantly affects work ethic and work ethic positively and significantly affects performance. Human relationship positively and significantly affects employee performance through work ethic and work environment negatively and insignificantly affects employee performance work ethic in employees of PT Lotte Mart Wholesale Medan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana budaya organisasi dan beban kerja berdampak pada kinerja karyawan PT Bank Sumut KC Lubuk Pakam. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh, yang berarti setiap populasi adalah sampel. Sebanyak 62 karyawan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi memengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara positif dan signifikan, sedangkan beban kerja memengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara negatif dan signifikan. Budaya organisasi juga memengaruhi OCB secara positif dan signifikan, sedangkan OCB berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. OCB mampu memediasi budaya organisasi dan kinerja karyawan, tetapi tidak mampu memediasi beban kerja dan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product innovation (X₁), product quality (X₂) and service quality (X₃) on purchasing decisions (Y) at PT Citra Rasa Coklat Choco Bakery Tembung Branch. The number of respondents in this study were 85 respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires or questionnaires. All analyses contained in this study used the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) 24.0 program. Based on the results of multiple linear regression Y = 4.145 + 0.381X1 + 0.088X2 + 0.307X3 + e. These results illustrate that product innovation, product quality, and service quality have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. To see whether the hypothesis in the statement that product innovation partially has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions can be seen from the value of the t-count> t-table value 4.147> 1.66 at a significant 0.000 <0.05 in other words H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of research on product quality variables state that product quality partially has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions as evidenced by the value of t-count> t-table, 3.024> 1.66 at a significant 0.031 <0.05 in other words H0 is rejected and H2 is accepted. Likewise, the service quality variable partially has a positive and significant effect with a t-count> t-table value, 4.470> 1.66 at a significant 0.000 <0.05 in other words H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can also be seen that simultaneously product innovation, product quality, and service quality have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions at PT Citra Rasa Coklat Choco Bakery Tembung Branch with the value of F count> F tabel, namely 43.615> 2.98 in other words H0 is rejected and H4 is accepted. The level of the coefficient of determination reaches 0.603 where the independent variable has an influence of 60.30% on the dependent variable and the remaining 39.70% is influenced by other factors not examined

Abstract

In the era of globalization, business competition in Indonesia is now growing very rapidly, especially in the service sector. Especially laundry services, laundry services are a form of service that is growing rapidly in this era. As the King of the Laundry Business in the heart of the city. This research aims to determine the effect of service quality on consumer loyalty which is mediated by consumer satisfaction. The population of this research is King Laundry consumers in Sumenep Regency. The sample consisted of 75 respondents. The data analysis method used is Smart PLS with the PLS-SEM method. The research results show that the results of service quality have a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty in the King Laundry business. Furthermore, service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty through consumer satisfaction at the Sumenep King Laundry business.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze academic ability and self-efficacy influencing student motivation to complete a thesis at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Riau University. This study employs quantitative methods. The population consists of all students in the class of 2017–2019 at the University of Riau's Faculty of Economics and Business; a total of 808 individuals were selected from this university's student database. In this study, 100 respondents were chosen as samples, based on sample calculations performed using the Slovin technique. Data is gathered by observation and documentation, as well as by using a Likert scale in the questionnaire. Techniques for data analysis make use of tests for validity, reliability, and traditional assumptions. The data analysis process made use of multiple linear regression using SPSS (Statistical Product Software Solution) software. Studies reveal that academic aptitude has a favorable and considerable impact on students' motivation. Self-efficacy has a strong and positive impact on students' motivation. Academic aptitude and self-efficacy at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Riau University, have an impact on students' motivation to finish a thesis.
