Abstract

Food Crops are something that grows and has leaves, roots, stems and can be consumed by humans. Food crops are a source of life for humans, so their existence is very much needed as long as humans are still alive. Integrated food crop management efforts need to be implemented in farming activities in order to increase productivity with knowledge of the suitability of food crops and soil conditions that function as a source of information or second opinion of the Agriculture Service UPT-PP Lenek District. Therefore, a Decision Support System for selecting food crops based on soil conditions was created to facilitate the selection of the right food. The food crops used are peanuts, rice, corn, sweet potatoes. The food will be matched with criteria such as Temperature, Rainfall, soil moisture, Soil Ph, and Depth, Surface Relief. The Decision Support System method used is the MOORA method. This method has good selectivity because it can determine the objectives of conflicting criteria. Where the criteria can be profitable (benefit) or unprofitable (cost)”. The calculation stages of the MOORA method start from Creating a decision matrix, then calculating the normalization matrix, then calculating the optimization value and finally ranking. The results obtained are alternative A2, namely rice, has the highest value with a value of 0.55007.

Abstract

This study proposes the design of an IEEE 802.11-based MAC protocol for ad hoc networks by integrating smart antenna technology, aimed at enhancing communication performance in radar tracking applications. The research uses a quantitative approach with a deductive methodology, employing simulation modeling coded in C language via Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express. Two types of antennas were compared: an omnidirectional antenna and a directional smart antenna. Simulations were conducted using two network topologies—string and mesh—under scenarios with and without smart antenna support. Performance was measured based on throughput, collision probability, and success rate. Results show that the smart antenna-based MAC protocol significantly outperforms the conventional setup. In the string topology, the system achieved a maximum throughput of 1.5 Mbps, a collision probability as low as 0.001 or even zero, and a perfect success rate of 1 in both topologies. These findings confirm that the integration of smart antennas into MAC protocols improves data exchange efficiency and network reliability, especially in ad hoc radar tracking environments.

Abstract

This study aims to help address the problems that occur at SMAN 2 KUTA SELATAN in determining the selection of scholarship recipients based on economics. In its Decision Support System (DSS) We use the Weighted Product (WP) method, by determining the criteria needed to be used in determining the best alternative by multiplying the normalized criteria values, where each criterion value is raised to the power of a predetermined weight. The results of this study show which students are more deserving or should receive scholarship assistance, However, due to the large amount of data that must be collected, the division of the criteria must be carefully twisted in such a way as to produce effectiveness in its determination. Despite the constraints, in fact this method is quite effective in determining system-based scholarship selection decisions, the school has no difficulty in making the selection because the WP method makes it easier for them and only takes a little time.

Abstract

Micro-enterprises such as coffee shops often face challenges in managing inventory due to fluctuating and unpredictable sales. This can lead to either overstocking or understocking, resulting in financial losses and a decline in service quality. This study aims to design and develop a web-based sales forecasting system using the Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) method to assist micro-business owners in making more accurate sales predictions. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D), utilizing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The system was tested on a case study of the Parralokha coffee shop in Denpasar using sales data from June to July 2023. A smoothing constant of  a = 0.1 was applied, and forecasting accuracy was evaluated using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results show that the system can generate reliable sales forecasts with low error rates, especially for menu items with stable sales patterns such as French Fries, Moccacino, and Matcha Latte, which achieved MAPE values below 3%. On the other hand, items with fluctuating sales, like Toast Bread and Chocolate Latte, had higher MAPE values, indicating lower forecast accuracy. In conclusion, the developed system effectively supports inventory management and helps micro-enterprise owners make data-driven decisions by providing accurate short-term sales forecasts.

Abstract

Decision support system is a computer-based system in solving management problems so as to produce the best alternative in making a decision. SMKN 1 Borong is a vocational high school located on Jl.Kihajar Dewantara, Satar Peot Village, Borong District, East Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The school was officially established on August 16, 2007 and currently has a total of 800 students. Based on the interview with Mr. Agustinus Galvan Dalory as the principal of SMK Negeri 1 Borong. SMK Negeri 1 Borong is one of the schools that receives the Indonesia Smart Program (PIP) scholarship assistance from the government. The school that handles this scholarship has difficulty selecting the names of scholarship recipients due to the large number of students. In addition, the selection of candidates for PIP scholarships at SMKN 1 Borong in assessing each criterion has not used a decision method. This can lead to errors in awarding the scholarship, resulting in inappropriate distribution of scholarships. To overcome these problems, a Decision Support System (SPK) is needed. One of the SPK methods that can be used is the Technique For Orders Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. This method is used to select the best scholarship recipient from several prospective recipients who have their own advantages and disadvantages. The results of the decision support system are able to help the data management process and facilitate decision making.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is the process of identifying and categorizing opinions expressed in a text to determine the attitude of the writer towards a particular topic, whether positive or negative. The data used in this study were collected from Twitter media and reviews related to Kelimutu Lake. The Naïve Bayes method was chosen because of its simplicity and effectiveness in text classification. The data collected was processed through several stages, namely crawling, Preprocessing consisting of Cleazing, case folding, tokenization, stemming, filtering, after which the data was trained using the Naïve Bayes method. The results showed that the majority of visitor reviews of Kelimutu Lake were positive, with the main factors influencing positive sentiment being the natural beauty and unique experiences offered by the lake. This study provides valuable insights for Kelimutu Lake tourist destination managers in understanding visitor perceptions and improving service quality based on the feedback provided. In addition, this study also shows that the Naïve Bayes method can be used effectively in sentiment analysis, which is positive 472 and negative 472. Where the analysis results obtained are balanced.

Abstract

The measurement of waste characteristics (generation, composition, and density) was conducted for 8 consecutive days. The measurement of waste generation refers to the Load-count analysis method by recording the volume and weight of waste as well as the number of waste transport units such as waste carts, trucks, and pickups. The measurement of waste composition and density follows SNI 19-3964-1995, with waste composition consisting of 9 types: food waste, garden waste, plastic waste, paper waste, wood waste, fabric waste, metal wa ste, rubber/leather waste, and others (stones, glass, dust). The results of the study showed the average total waste generation amounting to 28,817 kg and the total waste density amounting to 154.95 kg/m³. The waste composition measurement consists of 9 types: food waste 40.57% with a composition density of 139.17 kg/m³, garden waste 21.19% with a composition density of 130.83 kg/m³, plastic waste 15.95% with a composition density of 85.42 kg/m³, paper waste 5.32% with a composition density of 67.67 kg/m³, wood waste 7.67% with a composition density of 33.33 kg/m³, fabric waste 2.25% with a composition density of 75.34 kg/m³, metal waste 1.10% with a composition density of 40.00 kg/m³, rubber/leather waste 1.08% with a composition density of 202.38 kg/m³, others (stones, glass, dust) 4.87% with a composition density of 166.27 kg/m³. The highest average waste composition is food waste reaching 40.71 kg with an average percentage of food waste reaching 40.57% with a composition density of 139.17 kg/m³. This is because most of it comes from food stalls, restaurants, and markets.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has accelerated digitalization in the printing industry. CV. Mega Tama Prima faces challenges with its manual WhatsApp-based ordering process, leading to operational inefficiencies and miscommunication risks. This study designs a web-based ordering information system integrated with an interactive design editor, enabling customers to place orders and design printed products online while assisting administrators in organized order management. Development follows the waterfall methodology through requirement analysis, system design, implementation, blackbox testing, and maintenance stages. Results show the system significantly improves ordering efficiency, reduces communication errors, and broadens market reach for customers outside the local area. All core features including registration, login, design editor, and order management have been tested and function properly. The system successfully digitizes the ordering workflow and provides customers greater control in product design. Future development recommendations include expanding product range, incorporating automated notifications, enabling real-time order tracking, and enhancing customer-administrator communication.

Abstract

This study aims to address problems in the traditional clothing rental process, which is still manual and often leads to misunderstandings between renters and owners. The proposed solution is a web-based information system equipped with digital contract features. The development method used is Agile, which emphasizes gradual iterations, user collaboration, and continuous improvement. The system features include user registration, clothing selection, down payment, transfer proof upload, contract approval, digital signature (JSignPDF), and PDF printing. Test results show that the system functions effectively and meets all functional requirements. It simplifies administration, speeds up the rental process, and enhances trust through legally valid digital contracts. Future development is recommended to include integration with official identity verification and electronic certificates.

Abstract

Universities such as UINSI Samarinda face significant challenges in program evaluation because the manual collection method of tracer studies leads to data fragmentation, which hinders strategic decision-making. To solve this problem, a web-based centralized information system application was developed using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The system is designed with different interfaces for admins and alumni to enable efficient data management and analysis. The results of the evaluation indicated that this prototype was very successful: black-box testing confirmed all functionality was running correctly, and beta testing involving five users resulted in an average feasibility score of 87%, which indicates strong user acceptance. The research successfully resulted in validated and well-accepted applications, which provided a reliable data foundation for institutional improvement.
