Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di tingkat sekolah dasar sering menghadapi tantangan dalam retensi kosakata, terutama ketika metode pembelajaran yang digunakan masih bersifat konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas Augmented Reality (AR) dalam meningkatkan retensi kosakata bahasa Inggris pada siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experimental dengan melibatkan 60 siswa sekolah dasar. Siswa dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang belajar menggunakan AR dan kelompok kontrol yang belajar dengan metode konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan skor rata-rata sebesar 30 poin, sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya meningkat 11.8 poin. Selain itu, 80% siswa dalam kelompok eksperimen melaporkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan AR lebih menarik dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar mereka. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti keterbatasan akses terhadap teknologi dan pelatihan guru masih menjadi hambatan dalam implementasi AR di sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu, integrasi AR dalam pendidikan memerlukan strategi yang tepat agar dapat diterapkan secara optimal.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sosial-emosional (Social-Emotional Learning/SEL) telah menjadi elemen penting dalam pendidikan modern untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan siswa dan mendukung pencapaian akademik. Namun, implementasi SEL di sekolah dasar di Indonesia masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk keterbatasan pemahaman guru, kurangnya dukungan dari orang tua, serta minimnya integrasi dalam kurikulum akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak program SEL terhadap kesejahteraan emosional dan prestasi akademik siswa sekolah dasar dengan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan analisis dokumentasi dari 10 siswa, 5 guru, dan 5 orang tua di dua sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mengikuti program SEL mengalami peningkatan dalam kesadaran emosional, keterampilan sosial, serta kemampuan mengelola stres akademik. Selain itu, program ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar, kedisiplinan, dan partisipasi siswa dalam kelas. Namun, tantangan dalam implementasi masih ditemukan, terutama dalam hal pelatihan guru dan integrasi program dalam kurikulum. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kebijakan pendidikan yang lebih mendukung untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program SEL dalam sistem pendidikan dasar di Indonesia.

Abstract

Membaca dan mengenali lingkungan merupakan keterampilan penting dalam perkembangan anak. Namun, kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik sering kali menyebabkan rendahnya minat baca dan pemahaman anak terhadap objek di sekitar mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana media pembelajaran dapat dioptimalkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca dan pengenalan lingkungan pada anak sekolah dasar. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini dilakukan di dua sekolah dasar dengan partisipan 10 siswa, 5 guru, dan 5 orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan buku interaktif, aplikasi digital, dan Augmented Reality (AR) secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan kemampuan anak dalam mengenali objek sekitar. Meskipun media pembelajaran memiliki manfaat besar, tantangan dalam implementasi masih mencakup keterbatasan akses teknologi, kurangnya pelatihan guru, dan minimnya keterlibatan orang tua.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven many institutions, including village governments, to adopt web-based information systems to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of public services. However, the use of digital information systems also presents serious challenges in terms of data security, especially for personal and sensitive information. A major concern is the risk of data breaches or unauthorized access through hacking or misuse of the system. This study aims to implement the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm as a data protection mechanism within the web-based information system of Fafinesu A Village. AES was selected due to its proven reliability and efficiency as a symmetric encryption algorithm with a high level of security. The research stages include identifying sensitive data that needs protection, designing encryption and decryption schemes, integrating the AES module into a Laravel-based web system, and evaluating the encryption results and system performance impact. The implementation results show that all sensitive data stored in the database was successfully encrypted and can only be decrypted using a valid key within the system. Performance testing indicates that the AES integration does not significantly affect system speed. From the user's perspective, the encryption implementation increases trust in the system due to the higher level of data confidentiality and protection. This study provides a practical contribution to improving information security standards in village government environments and can serve as a model for the development of secure, modern, and trustworthy village information systems.

Abstract

The policy of increasing the Value Added Tax (VAT) to 12% implemented by the government has sparked various reactions from the public, both supportive and opposing. This study aims to analyze public sentiment toward this policy using two classification methods: Naïve Bayes and Multinomial Naïve Bayes. The data was obtained through crawling from social media platform X with a total of 3,024 comments that had undergone preprocessing stages. The analysis was conducted using TF-IDF weighting, and model evaluation was performed using a Confusion Matrix. The evaluation results showed that the Multinomial Naïve Bayes algorithm performed better with an accuracy of 75%, compared to Naïve Bayes which only reached 71%. The majority of public sentiment towards the 12% VAT increase was negative, driven by concerns over economic impacts such as rising prices of goods. This study is expected to provide input for the government in formulating more targeted public communication strategies related to fiscal policies.

Abstract

Fika Shop Bali faces challenges such as manual recording of transactions, inaccuracies in financial reports, and inconsistent stock data. This research aims to design and develop a web-based information system to automate the management of sales, inventory, and financial data. Using the waterfall method, this research includes analysis, design, implementation, and testing stages. The system effectively records transactions, generates real-time financial reports, and monitors reseller debt settlement automatically. This improves operational efficiency and supports strategic decision-making.

Abstract

Labuan Bajo is one of the government's priority destinations. Although the Tourism Government prioritizes Labuan Bajo as a new 10 Bali destination with the aim of attracting world tourists, until now the number of visitors to Labuan Bajo is still lower than Bali. The research method involves several stages, data collection through data crawling, data labeling, data preprocessing, data sharing, classification with Support Vector Machine method, and model evaluation. The results show that negative sentiment dominates with a percentage of 53%, while positive sentiment is 46% and is supported by the results of testing using confusion matrix to determine the accuracy of the support vector machine algorithm, which gets 82% accuracy, then positive class precision of 82%, negative class precision of 83% and positive class recall of 80%, and negative class recall of 84%.

Abstract

Music streaming services have become the primary choice for many users to enjoy music. However, with the multitude of options available, users often find it challenging to select the most suitable platform. This article discusses the application of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to evaluate and compare three popular music streaming services: Spotify, YouTube Music, and Apple Music. The assessment is based on five main criteria: audio quality, subscription price, ease of use, song selection and catalog, and application response time. Data were collected through a questionnaire involving 142 respondents. The analysis results indicate that Spotify excels in ease of use and song catalog selection, while YouTube Music stands out in terms of subscription pricing. By utilizing relevant criteria, this analysis aims to provide more informed recommendations for users. The SAW method has proven effective in generating objective and structured recommendations, helping users make better decisions when choosing a music streaming service.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct sentiment analysis on the “Prabowo-Gibran free lunch” program which is widely discussed on social media Twitter. In this study, two algorithmic approaches were used, namely the Naive Bayes Classifier. The research stages include the data crawling process using tweet-harvest, text preprocessing (cleaning, normalization, tokenization, to stemming), dataset labeling using a lexicon approach validated by linguists, training and test data division, model training, performance evaluation, and visualization of results. A total of 2,191 tweets were successfully analyzed, with a sentiment distribution of 52.99% positive, 25.83% negative, and 21.18% neutral. Evaluation resultsThe Naive Bayes model generally shows a fairly high precision value on each test data, ranging from 81% to 82% with an accuracy value of 73.64%. This shows that the model is able to classify correctly for the dominant class, namely the Positive class.

Abstract

The development of a QR Code-based student attendance application at MA NW Teko effectively addresses the inefficiencies of the previous manual attendance system. The new system improves time efficiency, minimizes fraud, and produces more accurate and accessible attendance records. Built using the CodeIgniter 4 framework with PHP and JavaScript and operated via XAMPP, the application allows real-time management of student attendance data. A key feature is the integration of WhatsApp notifications, which enhances communication between the school and parents. This innovation contributes positively to the digitalization of educational administration processes. While the application is functional and beneficial, further improvements are recommended. Comprehensive testing across various network conditions and user devices is needed to ensure system stability and compatibility. Additionally, scalability and data security must be strengthened, particularly if the system is to be implemented at a broader level. Future versions of the system could also benefit from added features, such as attendance statistics, export options for reporting, and automatic time-based alerts. Lastly, successful adoption of the system will require ongoing training and socialization for teachers and administrative staff to ensure optimal usage and minimize technical obstacles in the field. This application demonstrates how digital tools can enhance administrative efficiency in schools and lays the groundwork for further innovation in education management systems.
