Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting economic growth and employment, particularly in developing countries such as Indonesia. Despite their significant contribution to the national economy, many MSMEs still face internal challenges related to human resource competencies and financial management. These limitations often hinder business sustainability and competitiveness. Therefore, determining priority development strategies is essential to optimize the limited resources available to MSME actors. This study aims to analyze the priority factors for MSME development through human resource competency and financial management using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The research was conducted in Denpasar City, Bali, involving 17 respondents consisting of MSME owners, academics, business consultants, and financial practitioners selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using pairwise comparison questionnaires based on Saaty’s scale and analyzed through AHP procedures, including hierarchy structuring, pairwise comparison matrix construction, normalization, priority weight calculation, and consistency testing. The results show that human resource competency is the most important factor in MSME development compared to financial management. Among the human resource sub-criteria, digital literacy has the highest priority, followed by training, experience, and education. Meanwhile, in financial management, financial recording is identified as the most important sub-criterion, followed by budgeting, cost control, and financial planning. These findings indicate that strengthening digital competencies and improving systematic financial recording practices are key priorities for enhancing MSME performance and sustainability. This research provides practical implications for MSME development programs by emphasizing the importance of targeted training and financial management improvements. The results can serve as a reference for policymakers, practitioners, and MSME actors in designing more effective strategies to support sustainable MSME growth.

Abstract

The accelerating accumulation of transactional records across the retail sector has placed considerable pressure on data infrastructures, particularly in supporting time-sensitive business analytics. Within the construction of a retail data warehouse, the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) stage frequently emerges as the principal performance bottleneck whenever data volume scales upward. The present study seeks to examine and contrast the performance behaviour of three commonly applied ETL optimisation techniques, namely Partitioned Table, Materialized View, and Temporary Table, in order to identify which approach is most appropriate for handling large-volume data integration. To address this objective, an experimental investigation was conducted using five years of accumulated sales transaction data, which were processed through three independent ETL pipelines built in Pentaho Data Integration. Each pipeline was assessed in terms of execution time, CPU utilisation, and RAM consumption. The empirical results reveal that the Partitioned Table approach consistently yields superior performance across every observed metric, achieving the shortest average execution time of 26.4 seconds, the lowest CPU usage at 42 percent, and the smallest memory footprint of 385 MB. These outcomes suggest that segmenting data along temporal attributes provides substantial benefits for ETL workloads, positioning partitioning as the most viable optimisation strategy for retail data warehouse environments. Beyond the technical findings, the study also offers practical guidance for selecting ETL methods that align with data growth trajectories and the constraints of available system resources.

Abstract

The Paket Agung Village website is an important public information resource for the community, however, since its launch, the effectiveness and efficiency of its use from the user perspective have never been measured. This research aims to evaluate the website’s usability and provide recommendations for improvement. The evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, involving 20 respondents who are residents of Paket Agung, supplemented by 3 open-ended questions at the end of the survey. The results show that the average SUS score obtained was 61.5. Based on interpretation standards, the Paket Agung Village website is categorized as having a Marginal level of acceptability with a Grade D rating. These results indicate that the website is accessible and usable, but does not yet provide an optimal user experience. The main issues identified are a lack of comprehensive information, numerous empty or unfilled menus, and a lack of regular content updates. As a recommendation, the website administrators are advised to fill in and update the content in the available menus to increase public trust and interest in visiting the site. For future researchers, it is recommended to combine the SUS method with other methods or use a more comprehensive method to obtain a more in-depth analysis,

Abstract

The Legal Documentation and Information Network (JDIH) website of Tabanan Regency is a digital public service platform that provides access to regional regulations and legal documents. Evaluating website quality is important to ensure that the services provided are able to meet user needs and expectations. Previous studies on website evaluation generally applied either WebQual 4.0 or sentiment analysis separately, while studies integrating both approaches remain relatively limited. Therefore, this study combines WebQual 4.0 and machine learning–based sentiment analysis to provide a more comprehensive website evaluation. This study employed a mixed-methods approach involving 120 respondents and 120 user comments. Website quality evaluation was conducted using the WebQual 4.0 framework through three dimensions: usability, information quality, and service interaction. Sentiment analysis was performed using preprocessing techniques, TF-IDF feature extraction, and the Random Forest algorithm. The results showed that all WebQual dimensions achieved excellent categories, with usability obtaining the highest mean score of 4.487. Positive sentiment dominated user comments at 59.2%, while the Random Forest model achieved an accuracy rate of 79%. This integrated approach provided a more comprehensive evaluation and identified several technical aspects that still require improvement, including system performance, feature optimization, and interface consistency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the techno-economic feasibility of implementing rooftop solar power plants based on electricity consumption patterns and kWh export schemes. The data used comes from the Kaggle dataset "Surabaya Electric Consumption by Sector" and is processed using Google Colab. The research method uses a descriptive-comparative quantitative approach through electricity consumption pattern analysis, technical simulation of rooftop solar power plants, and a comparison of 65% and 100% kWh export schemes. The results show that the industrial sector has the highest electricity consumption, followed by households and businesses and hotels. Simulations show that increasing solar power plant capacity increases energy production and kWh exports, but nighttime electricity imports still occur because the system does not use batteries. The 100% export scheme provides better economic feasibility than the 65% export scheme, with more optimal savings, ROI, and payback period. The best scenario is a rooftop solar power plant with a capacity of 12.0 kWp with a 100% export scheme, because it produces the highest technical and economic benefits.

Abstract

Coconut oil quality assessment is important for ensuring product safety, commercial value, and consumer acceptance; however, conventional laboratory-based evaluation methods are often time-consuming, costly, and impractical for real-time applications. This study proposes a real-time coconut oil quality classification system using smartphone imaging integrated with a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model. A total of 60 coconut oil images were collected under controlled conditions and categorized into High Quality, Medium Quality, and Low Quality classes. The dataset underwent preprocessing stages including resizing, normalization, and augmentation before CNN training and evaluation. Experimental results showed that the proposed model achieved an accuracy of 93.33%, precision of 93.20%, recall of 92.80%, and F1-score of 93.00%, demonstrating reliable multi-class classification performance. In addition, the system achieved an average real-time prediction time of approximately 0.82 seconds per image on a smartphone device, indicating fast and efficient mobile-based implementation. The findings confirm that smartphone imaging combined with deep learning provides a portable, low-cost, non-destructive, and practical solution for intelligent coconut oil quality monitoring in food and agricultural applications.
