Abstract

Technological progress is currently felt to be increasingly rapid, we can feel that progress in the field of technology is greatly influencing our daily lives. The digital economy is a form of technological development that is currently being enjoyed by various groups, including children, teenagers and adults. This digital economy is an economic activity carried out with the help of digital technology. One form of digital economic technology is the internet, Android-based cellphones/applications. Since Covid-19 happened, it has forced everyone to use gadgets to carry out all their activities, especially children from elementary school to university level, as well as TPQ children at the Nurul Ihsan Mosque when carrying out learning activities, they have to use gadgets to be able to carry out activities. from their respective homes with the aim of not gathering in one place (mosque). The use of digital economic technology is able to influence them, such as in the games and applications available. Basically, the use of this technology still has to be supervised by parents, but not all parents can monitor their children's use of this item so that even in our daily lives, the use of digital economic technology can influence the attitudes and ethics of children and teenagers.

Abstract

This journal discusses the energy efficiency of mobile operating systems using the Infinix Cheetah X1 chip. The study evaluates the chips’s ability to manage power consumption without compromising performance, focusing on battery optimization, charging performance under extreme temperatures, and bypass charging tecnology. Empirical testing on the Infinix Note 40 using tools like CPU-Z and 3C Battery Manager shows that the Cheetah X1 chip enhances charging efficiency and maintains optimal device temperature. However, its impact on overall battery life is minimal, demonstrating normal power cusumpition levels for a smartphone with a 5000 mAh battery. Overall, the chip improves user experiences through innovative charging features and effective power management, although its effect on extending battery life is limited.

Abstract

A Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) is a structured approach that describes how an organization can carry out its operations after an unplanned incident that can result in system failure. Creating strong system resilience requires an IT team with strong experience and understanding as well, and this is the background of this research. This research aims to provide practical guidance in implementing disaster recovery strategies with virtualization, especially the snapshot feature on VMware Workstation to test disaster scenarios and evaluate their recovery effectiveness.

Abstract

Matahari Integrated Service Center (Posyandu) is one of the health service service units located in East Sumba Regency, Wulla Waijelu District, Paranda Village. The activities that are often carried out every month at the posyandu include weighing toddlers, maternal health services, child health, immunizations and health education. The work system at Posyandu Matahari is currently not running well because there are still several shortcomings, including posyandu cadres experiencing difficulties in the data management process, writing registers or data on posyandu target participants repeatedly due to the lack of data storage because the data is currently in the form of paper documents. So ranges are lost, data packets are often damaged and even data packets are damaged. In recording data there are also other obstacles such as the data being written unclearly making it difficult to read, especially when the officer who wrote the data is not there, therefore this research aims to help posyandu cadres in recording data processing and making reports. So the researchers proposed designing a posyandu data management system that includes cadre data, midwife data, toddler data, toddler mother data, pregnant mother data and immunization data. The method used in designing the posyandu data management information system is the waterfall method to design the modeling of a posyandu data management information system. The waterfall method is the earliest software development life cycle (SDLC) approach used for software.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology today demands that we master and utilize it effectively. One of the rapidly evolving information technologies is the website. Websites can provide information quickly and accurately. In the context of village governance, the current situation is improving with the presence of village fund allocations from the central government aimed at advancing villages. Information technology can assist village officials in enhancing services to village residents, making information access easier, promoting community business products, showcasing village potentials, population data, and land area. Therefore, a Web-Based Village Information System has been developed in Bolora Village using the waterfall model. This village information system is expected to facilitate faster, more accurate, and efficient services to residents. Additionally, residents can easily and quickly obtain information through the village website.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a desktop-based inventory management information system application for CV Kylaboquette. The purpose of this application is to streamline the process of inventory recording, monitoring, and reporting, which has traditionally been done manually. By adopting the Waterfall methodology, the development process includes requirement analysis, system design, coding, program testing, and implementation. The resulting application is expected to enhance operational efficiency, reduce human error risks, and improve service quality. Through this system, CV Kylaboquette can manage inventory in real-time, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information availability.

Abstract

The utilization of information technology has increased the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, particularly in the transportation sector. To facilitate users, PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) offers ticket booking services through the KAI Access smartphone application. However, this application has received considerable negative feedback regarding its usability, which jeopardizes its effectiveness, efficiency, and user experience. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the usability of the KAI Access application and identify areas needing improvement. The data collection method used is quantitative, following ISO 9241-11 standards, and involves several users to assess the three main aspects of usability: effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction. The study's findings indicate that 40% of users experience difficulties in navigating and completing tasks within the application, highlighting issues with the interface design. The average time required to complete a task is 8 minutes,longer than similar applications, indicating a low level of application efficiency. User satisfaction is reflected by an average score of 3.2 out of 5, indicating a somewhat disrupted level of satisfaction. The analysis of the study results shows that the main issues lie in unclear navigation, incomplete information, unappealing visuals,and poor application performance. To improve the usability of the KAI Access application, it is recommended to make improvements in navigation design, provide clearer and more comprehensive information, refine the visual design, and optimize the application's workflow.
