Abstract

A computer is a set of electronic devices or machines that work together based on the instructions given to them. Computers work systematically and as a tool for processing relatively large amounts of data with relatively high speed and accuracy. The design and manufacture of Video and Audio Converter Applications Using VB 6.0 is a very influential element in the launching of operational tasks in education and companies. Information that is not fast, precise, accurate, efficient, and effective can be solved by implementing this system. In compiling this final project, the author aims to simplify and speed up the learning process that is appropriate and accurate and saves time and space so that errors that hinder the smooth running of activities can be overcome.

Abstract

To speed up the process of sending secret messages, we need a medium for small messages that can still guarantee the confidentiality of the messages they contain. GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) is an image format that is one of the most commonly used formats on the web because of its small size and for encrypting the text that is sent. Encryption is carried out at the time of delivery by converting the original data into confidential data, while decryption is carried out at the time of receipt by converting the confidential data into original data. The most common way to hide messages is to use the Least Significant Bit (LSB). This research has succeeded in implementing the LSB algorithm to solve steganography on digital images in GIF format optimally

Abstract

Communication technology has become an important part of various areas of life. Because of the many conveniences offered, communication technology can hardly be separated from various aspects of human life. With the rapid development of communication technology, it has had a positive impact on society. In addition, communication technology is capable of shortening distances, saving costs, and being able to penetrate space and time. Short Message Service or better known as SMS is now widely used by the public as a communication tool. The advantages of SMS are low cost, fast and direct to the destination. Starting from children, teenagers, adults to the elderly, almost all of them take advantage of this SMS technology. Initially, SMS was only used for interpersonal communication. But now with the times, SMS users are growing. For example, for polling an audition, accessing lecture scores, sending criticism and suggestions to the mass media for publication and many other uses. Abstract

Today's technology has developed rapidly and rapidly, especially in the field of control electronics. However, the current transport bridge control system in Indonesia is still underdeveloped. The mindset of the Indonesian people tends to deify foreign products. The practicality of bringing in a tool and just installing the tool is one of the causes of the underdevelopment of the transport bridge control system in this country. Actually, Indonesian citizens are able to make these tools, especially since Indonesia is an archipelagic country and still uses water transportation facilities. Based on this in this final project, a miniature lift bridge simulation was designed and made using an ATMEGA 8 microcontroller. Supporting components so that the miniature lift bridge control system can work according to the desired design, including the ATMEGA 8 microcontroller as a data controller that changes the LED lights, and moves the servo motor to lift or close the bridge, when the ship hits the infrared sensor. From the results and analysis, it is found that the output voltage produced by the circuit is 5 volts, and the speed of the ship so that the sensor can be detected should not be more than 2.6 cm/s.

Abstract

In this study, we will discuss the manufacture ofan application to simplify the use of computers and provide animation effects from Microsoft Agent that can reduce the level of user saturation when shutting down the computer. Microsoft Agent is an animation commonly used in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Word. This Microsoft Agent can provide information about what is happening in the application that we are using. And in the design and manufacture of this application, the Microsoft Agent used provides information that the computer to be used will turn off in a countdown of 10 seconds when pressing the process button according to the instructions from the microsoft agent.

Abstract

Determination of homeroom teachers at SMPN 3 Porsea using the Simple Additive Weighting method. The model used in this decision support system is Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) which is a system that can produce an alternative decision that can be used as a tool in making decisions. Based on government demands in the field of education to improve the quality of homeroom teachers, system development This decision support is one way to assist in determining the appropriate teacher to be a homeroom teacher. The SAW method was chosen because this method determines the weight value for each attribute, then proceed with a ranking process that will select the best alternative from a number of alternatives in question, namely the teacher who has the highest score based on each predetermined criterion. With this ranking method, the assessment will be more precise because it is based on the criteria and weights that have been determined so as to get accurate results as a decision aid to determine the homeroom teacher at SMPN 3 Porsea.

Abstract

Diagnosing diseases in Arabica coffee plants using the Certainty Factor Method. Diagnosing diseases of Arabica coffee plants must be fast and precise in accordance with technological developments. Making this coffee plant disease diagnosis application aims to make it easier for coffee farmers or the public to find out the types of diseases in coffee plants and how to control them based on the symptoms of coffee plant diseases that are entered and an answer will come out, namely the name of the disease from the questions entered and how to control it. Expert systems are used as a tool to solve problems that are usually solved by an expert.

Abstract

In accordance with the regulations that have been determined by the Mangga Village Head Office to obtain Subsidized Food Materials, criteria are needed to determine who will be selected to receive subsidized food. . To assist the determination in determining someone who deserves to receive subsidized food, a decision support system is needed. One method that can be used for Decision Support Systems is to use AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). In this study, a case will be raised, namely looking for the best alternative based on predetermined criteria using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method to calculate the method in this case. This method was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the intended alternative is the one who is entitled to receive subsidized food based on the specified criteria. Abstract

Vitiligo is a disease that causes the skin color to fade. Besides being able to attack any area of ​​the skin on the body, this fading color can also occur on the inside of the mouth, eyes, and hair. In this study, an expert system for diagnosing vitiligo has been built, in order to make it easier for patients to find out the level of vitiligo they are suffering from. The problem of this research is how to build an expert system to diagnose vitiligo by implementing Fuzzy Logic using the Mamdani Method, Fuzzy logic is one approach that uses certain stages. Abstract

The absence of selection of exemplary employees at the Ministry of Religion of Deli Serdang Regency has caused the performance and performance of employees to decline Decision support systems are interactive information systems that provide information, model and manipulate data. The decision support system for selecting exemplary employees is not used as a substitute for decisions, but as a support for decision making. The criteria set by the company in applying for credit are discipline, work performance, commitment, responsibility and quality of performance. With the AHP method, from the criteria determined the intensity of importance/priority scale on the criteria. After performing the calculation process, the decision to select exemplary employees was obtained from the ranking of the AHP method: 0.2669947 (rank 1), 0.25695721 (rank 2), 0.2446883 (rank 3), 0.229045 (rank 4).
