Abstract

Theft cases that are rampant in the flat area are a major problem in, flat security is an important point to prevent it. This research has the aim of making a design of a smart door lock system with various door opening methods based on the Arduino microcontroller. The Prototype method is used in this study to create a design of a smart door lock system that starts from the stages of requirements gathering, designs prototype, building prototypes, testing prototypes, and implementing them on a model. After completing all stages in building a smart door lock system, the conclusion obtained is that 3 locking methods are applied in the smart door lock system, namely rfid, keypad, and knock. The smart door lock system has 2 servos that act as locks on the door.   Keywords : Arduino, Smart Doorlock, Prototyping

Abstract

Information systems play primary role in an organization. By having an information system, organizations or companies can ensure high-quality information and make quick, accurate, dan precise decisions. An integrated information system will make the performance of an organization or company more systematic and directed. However, many companies have not successfully utilized this technology effectively in their data and information management processes. PT. Bilmo Global Utama is a company engaged in web creation services, web design, graphic design, digital marketing with GoogleAds, and social media content design. Currently, the business processes at PT. Bilmo Global Utama are still manual, making them inefficient and prone to errors. This study aims to design and implement an information system that can facilitate the order process, provide the complete information, and generate transaction reports. This research was conducted using the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) approach with the Agile model. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The result of this study indicate that designed systems covers the business processes from initial ordering to website completion. Thus, the system successfully addresses the manual business process issues faced by PT. Bilmo Global Utama. The implementation of the bilmo order management information system has several advantages for the company, including : Increased efficiency, Better monitoring, Easier report generation, and Minimizing manual errors. System testing included functionality testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Functionality testing showed that all system features work well as expected. Meanwhile, performance testing indicated a good average skor of 96,75. User acceptance testing (UAT) yield a satisfactory score of 88%.

Abstract

The advancement of network technology has significantly increased the demand for secure remote access, especially among Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with limited infrastructure and budgets. This research aims to design and implement a remote gateway system using a Set-Top Box (STB) running Linux Armbian OS, integrated with Tailscale VPN to offer a cost-effective and secure remote access solution. The research follows the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method, which includes analysis, design, implementation, testing, monitoring, and system management. The STB is configured as a remote gateway enabling internal devices to be accessed externally via a Zero Trust-based VPN. During the implementation, IP forwarding and subnet routing are configured, and connectivity tests are carried out across Tailscale nodes. Test results show that the system delivers stable remote desktop access with an average bitrate of ≥2 Mbps and supports file and printer sharing with average transfer speeds between 6 to 8 Mbps. Security testing using Wireshark revealed no leaks of payload or metadata, confirming all traffic is encrypted by the WireGuard protocol. Additionally, monitoring showed the STB consumes minimal power, making it an ideal green computing solution for SMEs. The system proves to enhance operational efficiency with low energy and cost, while also providing a free alternative to previously used paid remote access tools.
