Abstract

Boarding house is a service that offers a room or place to stay for a certain amount of payment for each certain period (generally monthly payments). The difficulty in choosing a place to live, especially in the Cikande area, means that people have to be careful in choosing what they want according to the criteria. Developments at the scene show that when choosing a temporary residence (boarding house), there are five aspects that are at least taken into consideration, namely: price, cleanliness, facilities, area and distance. In this research, 2 methods were used for comparison, namely the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and the Technique For Order Preference By Similarity to the Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) IN THE BEST BOARDING HOUSE DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM IN THE CIKANDE REGION which aims to provide solutions to the community in searching for a residence that suits your wishes and is easy to understand and has the ability to measure the relative performance of alternatives because the evaluation in ranking is based on predetermined criteria values ​​and weights. A website-based system using the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language and MySQL as the database. It is hoped that the results of this research can help the public in making it easier to find a boarding house that suits their wishes.

Abstract

One technology that is currently popular is Augmented Reality (AR) technology which combines two-dimensional or three-dimensional virtual worlds into a real environment.

Abstract

Ornamental fish have become a hobby and also a promising and profitable side business opportunity, one of which is the Gupi fish (Poecillia reticulata), this fish can be easily reproduced and is suitable as an additional business for hobbyists. However, cultivating guppy fish is not easy because sudden changes in temperature have a big impact on the health and metabolism of cultivated fish. This information was obtained during an interview with the owner of the ANNAS GUPPY ornamental fish farm. The author has developed a prototype of a more accurate and efficient water temperature control system based on Arduino. Research was also carried out to integrate a water temperature control system with internet of things (IoT) technology to enable users to control water temperature remotely via the Blynk application on a smartphone. This tool can increase and stabilize the water temperature in an aquarium or pond on a certain scale and is very capable of preventing fish from stress resulting from changes in water temperature. This automatic water temperature control system can also provide users with very accurate water temperature information in Celsius units and can save electricity needs and is very easy to use. Abstract

Education is a fundamental right that must be fulfilled to ensure the creation of quality human development. However, in Indonesia, the issue of school dropouts remains a serious problem, primarily due to the financial challenges faced by students. Scholarships are an important solution to provide financial support to students with potential who are hindered by economic difficulties. Sekolah Adab Insan Mulia Depok is one of the institutions that offers scholarship programs for students facing financial challenges. However, the current scholarship selection process is still subjective, which can lead to unfair distribution. To address this issue, it is necessary to shift from subjective to objective selection methods using a Decision Support System (DSS). This study proposes the use of the Weighted Product (WP) method as a solution to improve the scholarship selection process at the school. The WP method was chosen because it can process data by considering the relative weight of each criterion used. With this system, the selection process becomes more accurate, objective, and transparent. The implementation of the WP method in the DSS can generate student rankings based on scores calculated systematically, allowing for a more equitable and targeted distribution of scholarships, according to the financial needs and achievements of the students.

Abstract

One of the food needs with quite high interest is eggs, more specifically chicken eggs. Chicken eggs are one of the food needs that are sought after by many people as evidenced by data issued by BPS or the Central Statistics Agency. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the average -The average consumption of chicken eggs in Indonesia in 2022 will be 2,336 kilograms (kg) per capita per week. If viewed from a benefits perspective, the benefits of chicken eggs are that they provide highly nutritious food substances, but not only that, they are also relatively cheap compared to other animal products, which means that demand for chicken eggs will tend to continue to increase. However, chicken egg farmers in several areas still experience difficulties in controlling production and monitoring chicken eggs because they still use extensive or traditional counting systems. This research was carried out with the aim of creating a chicken egg counting system that is integrated with an Android application where the egg production produced can be monitored or monitored directly via a mobile device. The methodology for efficient development of this project is proposed using ESP8266 which is connected to several sensors as a supporting monitoring tool and integrated with WiFi to send data directly. The result of this research is an egg production counting system that is connected to a gadget with an Android platform based on the Internet of things where production results can be monitored directly by every client who has access.

Abstract

The development of the internet and technology has driven business transformation towards digitalization, including through e-commerce. PT. Grand Principal Mandiri, which operates in IT cabling, data center, and security system sectors, faces challenges in optimizing the efficiency of router and access point sales, which have been conducted through the Purchase Order (PO) method via email. This system is considered ineffective, limiting market reach and hindering customers from accessing real-time product information. This study aims to design a web-based e-commerce system using the Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) method. The research results indicate that the designed e-commerce system can enhance sales efficiency, provide more detailed product information, and enable real-time sales and stock data management to support more effective customer decision-making.

Abstract

The use of web-based systems in education is increasing, including at SMK Kusuma Bangsa. The school website is used to store and manage important data such as student information, academic grades, and lesson schedules. However, weaknesses in the security system make data vulnerable to cyber attacks such as data breach and SQL injection. This research aims to implement data encryption using the AES-128 algorithm to improve information security at SMK Kusuma Bangsa. The research methods used include observation, interviews, and literature studies. The developed system was tested using the Black Box Testing method to ensure the reliability and security of data encryption. The results showed that the implementation of AES-128 is able to protect data well, prevent unauthorized access, and increase user confidence in the system. With this encryption, the risk of information leakage can be minimized, so that school data security becomes more secure.

Abstract

Amora kebya is one of the business units located in South Jakarta, Amora kebaya often experiences problems during the attendance and payroll process. Starting from errors during employee attendance to errors when calculating employee salaries because the system is still manual. Other obstacles also occur in the management of data supporting the attendance and payroll system which is still managed manually so that there is no special database that connects these data for easy data access. The purpose of this research is to design and build Amora kebaya Attendance and Payroll Information System using PHP and MySql. This research is made using the extreme programming software development method which includes planning, design, coding and testing stages. The result of this research is an attendance and payroll information system that is made using extreme programming as a programming language and has features of managing employee data, position data, shift data, basic salary data, attendance data, payroll data and print payroll reports and salary slips so as to optimize the attendance process and payroll reports that have not been computerized properly to be better and can minimize errors that occur. Abstract

Cucumber is an agricultural commodity that has many benefits, both in the culinary and health fields. However, cucumber plants are often damaged by various diseases, which are difficult for farmers to diagnose. To overcome this problem, this research developed a web-based disease diagnosis system for cucumber plants using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The Naïve Bayes algorithm was chosen because of its efficiency in handling cucumber plant symptom data and calculating the probability of disease based on the symptoms input by the user. This system is designed to help farmers identify cucumber diseases quickly and accurately, and provide recommendations for appropriate action. The results of this research show that the system developed is successful in diagnosing cucumber diseases with high accuracy, helping farmers make the right decisions to maintain plant health. The Naïve Bayes algorithm has proven effective in calculating disease probabilities based on observed symptoms, and the system can be easily accessed via a user-friendly web interface. With this system, it is hoped that it can help farmers maintain the health of cucumber plants and increase agricultural productivity. Abstract

This research discusses the development of a web-based e-catalog application for PT Ryan Putra Ritelindo using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. The research objective is to increase the effectiveness of product information delivery and overcome the limitations of social media platforms in displaying product details comprehensively. The research methodology uses the XP approach with the stages of planning, design, coding, and testing. System testing is done through blackbox testing, whitebox testing, and user satisfaction testing. The test results showed that the user satisfaction level reached 89.9% and the system manager satisfaction level reached 90%. The implementation of e-catalog successfully increases efficiency in delivering product information, facilitates real-time data updates, and provides better access to product details compared to social media platforms.
