Abstract

The poverty gap index in Aceh Province during the 2017-2019 period tends to decrease. This study aims to determine the appropriate modelling in finding the factors that affect the poverty gap index in Aceh Province. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency for Aceh Province from 2017-2019. The dependent variable used is the poverty gap index (P1). Meanwhile, the independent variables are the open unemployment rate, crime rate, dependency ratio and sex ratio. The best model obtained is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The factors that influence the poverty gap index are the dependency ratio, while the open unemployment rate, crime rate and sex ratio do not affect the poverty gap index.

Abstract

Fund transfers can now be done virtually. Innovations in fund transfers have not only positive but also negative impacts. Legal protection is needed so that there is legal certainty for the community in carrying out fund transfer activities. Law No. 3 of 2011 concerning Funds Transfer is a statutory regulation that was passed to provide such protection. This paper aims to describe the corporate criminal liability in Indonesian law concerning fund transfer. One arrangement that is different from the general provisions of the Criminal Code is related to the subject of criminal law. The Funds Transfer Law expands the subject of criminal law, namely not only humans but also corporations. Unfortunately, the expansion of the subject of criminal law in the Funds Transfer Law is not accompanied by the existence of a new type of crime. The absence of new crimes in the Funds Transfer Law can be used by corporations to not carry out court decisions.

Abstract

To get the concept of developing an effective and efficient fixed broadband network, it is necessary to standardize fixed broadband access network technology. This standardization will facilitate in determining the design and development costs of the overall access network. In this paper, the process of determining the standardization of access networks is discussed through the Fuzzy SWOT MCDM (Multiple Criteria Decision Making) method. The process that is made is by establishing the SWOT access network technology that is available then the ranking process is carried out with fuzzy MCDM algorithm from the results of the questionnaire provided by network experts at PT. Indosat, one of the telecommunications network and service providers in Indonesia.

Abstract

Skybridge can be considered as a corridor space because it connects one place to another. One of which is the Pandanaran Skybridge which connects the parking building with the Pandanaran souvenir center area in the downtown of Semarang City, Indonesia. This study attempts to analyze the effect of skybridge planning on user behavior with a case study in the Pandanaran Semarang skybridge corridor. The Semarang City Government made these public facilities to cope with traffic flow and the need for parking spaces. This building is fairly new because it was completed in 2020, therefore the Pandanaran Skybridge needs to be reviewed. The study begins by studying the understanding and standards of pedestrian bridges, the factors that affect crossings, physical and non-physical views of buildings, as well as visitor perceptions of Skybridges. The architectural design approach is design recommendations based on user needs and convenience. In conclusion, there are things that need to be improved on the Pandanaran Skybridge along with design recommendations.

Abstract

Dengue fever (DF) is an intense febrile disease described by abrupt beginning of fever of 3-5 days, intense migraine, myalgia, joint pain, retro-orbital agony, anorexia, gastrointestinal unsettling influences and different levels of thrombocytopenia. Thrombocytopenia has reliably been one of the likely clinical pointers of dengue severity. As our studies revealed that overall prevalence of thrombocytopenia in Dengue is high i.e., 69% from mild to severe. However, since the female to male ratio i.e., 21:79 was unfairly very low to generalize the gender-wise prevalence result. In addition, severity of clinical manifestation of dengue disease were correlated with the respective platelet counts and there was a negative correlation between platelet count and clinical complications indicating that lower the platelet count more are the complications and their respective severity as patients with lower platelet count was found to have higher chances of non-hemorrhagic complications. Further forthcoming investigations are expected to assess the utility of other blood indices in dengue fever so, there is a need to concentrate on the detail hematology profile and comprehend its significance so that the adverse outcomes of this rapidly spreading disease can be controlled to a great extent.

The assessment process occupies an important position to determine whether narcotics abusers can carry out medical and social rehabilitation. This research delves into the pivotal role played by integrated assessment teams in determining the rehabilitation process for individuals struggling with narcotics abuse. Through the lens of normative legal research and qualitative analysis, this study underscores the equitable treatment that integrated assessments afford to suspected narcotics abusers, ultimately facilitating early rehabilitation placements. The research findings serve as a compass for law enforcement agencies in making informed decisions regarding whether an individual should undergo rehabilitation or be placed in detention, contingent upon their involvement in narcotics-related activities. To bolster this process, the study recommends the implementation of more stringent regulations, making it mandatory for all law enforcement officers to adhere to the integrated assessment procedure. This emphasis on procedural consistency aims to prioritize justice and legal equity for individuals impacted by narcotics abuse within the legal framework

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country that is blessed with abundant natural resources, both biological and non-biological natural resources. Various natural products grow abundantly in Indonesia, including food crops. Understanding the relationship between exports and competitiveness can provide a more holistic view regarding the position of Indonesian corn in international competition. the ability of a commodity to compete in foreign markets or the ability to survive in the domestic market and compete with commodities from abroad. If a product has competitiveness, the product is in great demand by many consumers. The data obtained can be in the form of numbers or aggregated qualitative data. The qualitative approach provides the flexibility to gain an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon under study, while quantitative data allows for mathematical measurement and analysis, Ministry of Finance, World Bank, Agricultural Service, and other published sources. As a result of quantitative analysis calculations, conclusions can be obtained from the research carried out. Indonesian corn production has a positive and significant effect on the competitiveness of Indonesian corn.
